Description

Located in one of the main streets of the historic center of Pavia, the B&B is situated on the second floor of a typical courtyard house. It has two double rooms and a small loft with a mezzanine bedroom. The spaces are bright and recently renovated with great care in materials and details. At the moment, the breakfast service is suspended, but coffee/tea and a small packaged sweet treat are always available in the breakfast room. We have an agreement with Caffè S. Michele at Corso Garibaldi 14. Despite being in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), the B&B is very close to several paid parking areas.

The 32B&B is just a few steps away from the Basilica of San Michele, a masterpiece of Lombard Romanesque style.

Walking along Corso Garibaldi or through the characteristic alleys, you can quickly reach Piazza Vittoria, the vibrant center of the city, the ancient University area with its famous medieval towers, or the Ponte Vecchio, a symbol of Pavia, which leads to the ancient neighborhood of Borgo Basso. The entire center is filled with cafes, restaurants, wine bars, and shops.

We have an agreement with Bar Lattheria located at Corso Garibaldi 9, where our guests can enjoy a breakfast for €5 consisting of a hot beverage + brioche + orange juice), or receive a discount of 15% and with Caffè San Michele locate in Corso Garibaldi 14 that offerte 10% discount.

Our B&B is located in one of the most typical and lively streets of the city centre, it is very close to San Michele's Church and to Borromeo's Dormitory. It is at only 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio and the Univeristy and it is 15' minutes from the train and coach station, in order to reach us, you can catch the bus number 3. In addiction we are situated in the paid parking area (0. 60/1. 20/2 euros) but you can find some free parkings which are not too distant from us.

The room was very nice, and so was the owner. We were welcomed by the mother and daughter. Breakfast is offered for $5 at the bistro around the corner. Very good. The location is very central but just above a bar so it can be a bit noisy if you open the windows, which we didn't do because we had air conditioning. It's worth noting that the owners are not on site. The heart of Pavi is very depopulated and clearly left to tourists at night. I found it a bit suffocating and couldn't wait to leave, but the room was very nice.

I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. The rooms are in excellent condition, clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully furnished. One feels at home immediately. The location of the B&B is optimal for exploring Pavia. The host truly cares for their guests' well-being.

We stayed in the loft with the loft bedroom, a refined residence and a very appreciated surprise in medieval Pavia. The loft is cozy, equipped with every comfort and sought after in its essentiality with a design furniture, a beautiful and intimate atmosphere in the historic center that we hope to be able to relive.

My wife and I stayed at this property and we were satisfied. Room furnished very well and with great care, very quiet thanks to magnificent fixtures. All very clean. Beautiful bathroom and large shower. Everything perfect and I can easily recommend it.

The B&B is tastefully furnished, with pleasant, comfortable, and clean spaces. Its location is convenient to the city center and allows for walking around. Despite being located in a densely populated area, the property is quiet and bright. A real gem in the city of Pavia. Breakfast is provided, but we did not partake.

Due to train delays, I arrived in Pavia an hour and a half later than expected. The owner was so kind and helpful to pick me up by car at the station. Once we arrived at 32BnB Camerecaffè, she advised me not to have breakfast (even though I had booked it) because I would be leaving early the next morning and wouldn't be able to enjoy it. Even though I had thought about it, since I had already booked, I assumed I had to pay, so I didn't even ask and she herself advised me, clearly to her economic disadvantage (leaving me some coffee to drink at departure). After that, she booked the pizzeria for dinner so I could easily go to a nearby place and not have to wait long since it was already late (where I also ate well) and, as if that wasn't enough, the next morning, since taxis cannot be booked in advance (not even 10 minutes, although I don't understand why), it was unfortunate that there were no taxis available and the owner herself offered to drive me to my destination. In addition, the place is delightful, clean, and well-maintained. Recommended 101%.

I really had a great time, the atmosphere feels like home. The managers are really kind, helpful, and polite people. The location of the property is excellent, both because you can reach the center in a few minutes, and because it is located in a quiet street without disturbing noises.
