Description

We have chosen to open a bed and breakfast to share these spaces, following the family tradition of enjoying moments of conviviality with friends that have always characterized this house.

The house dates back to 1907 and was originally a dwelling for washerwomen. The "Canabagno" ditch, which dates back to 1850, borders the house and directly enters the basement, allowing workers to wash clothes sheltered from the weather. On the raised ground floor, there is the living room, which had a large fireplace to dry clothes even during winter. The bedrooms are located on the first floor, accessible via a balcony, as in typical row houses. This feature is curious considering that the house was originally intended for a single family, unless it was designed to offer independent access to individual rooms in case they were used by third parties or by children.

The building is surrounded by a large plot of land, which was once used for hanging laundry and making hay for the horses owned. The washhouse also had a stable, a barn, and a carriage house where sheets were collected and delivered.

Today, these approximately 4000 square meters constitute a green oasis in which the house is immersed, making you forget you are in the city. Additionally, we offer ample on-site parking, a playground for children, and a space for your four-legged friends to romp around.

During the recent renovation, we optimized the spaces and added a bathroom to each room. We also replaced the fixtures, installed water-saving cisterns, a photovoltaic system for electricity, and a solar thermal system for hot water production. These choices allow us to be energy self-sufficient and contribute to the conservation of precious resources.

The furnishings and all elements related to hospitality are personally taken care of by the hostess, Norma. Thanks to her passion and attention to detail, we are able to create a refined and informal environment at the same time, making you feel completely at ease.

The rooms and the entire house are decorated with great attention to detail and individuality, giving everything a very special, personal touch. Everything was extremely clean; cleanliness is clearly a priority here. A real highlight was the fantastic breakfast – with plenty of choices, fresh products, and lovingly arranged. Having to go to a concert in the San Siro area and not wanting to face more than 3 hours of travel immediately, we spent a night in this structure. We had a great time, the owner is very kind, as well as all the staff. Excellent cleanliness, air conditioning, and spacious rooms with a large bathroom, very good breakfast, definitely recommended.

Our first trip to Milan with my family was truly unforgettable. Choosing our accommodation based on the outstanding ratings turned out to be a decision we're extremely grateful for. The location was remarkably convenient, just a 12-minute journey from the city center, easily accessible by both car and bus. The added bonus of a complimentary on-site car park was greatly appreciated. Norma, our host, was the ideal person to meet on this journey. Her warm welcome and the extra effort she put into ensuring our arrival went smoothly, including the considerate texts sent a day before and on the day of our arrival, enhanced our overall experience. The breakfast served in her own living room was a unique and delightful touch, especially the coffee! Our room, "Camera Blue", was absolutely perfect and matched the descriptions on the website. The structure is located inside a gate with a beautiful park around it, quiet and welcoming. Clean rooms furnished in an original way, really beautiful. The breakfast room is a gem. If you have to go to San Siro, I highly recommend it!

An oasis outside the chaos of Milan. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night for a quick stopover for a concert at San Siro and it was a surprise to come across Norma and her family. Delightful place, well-kept, refined, in a wonderful setting and maintained with a love and care that we have rarely seen before. It seems out of the way but it's actually just a few minutes from the central station. A tranquil oasis in Milan, with a beautiful garden and premises full of history, tradition, and culture. We stayed with this wonderful host Norma, from May 18 to 20, 2023. She was a wonderful host. First of all, being this our first time in Milan, we got lost (wrong bus) which was our fault. We didn't end up far from this property but it was more than just around the corner. She came and picked us lost Americans up in her car, transporting us to the property. She made a great restaurant selection for us, again she transported us to the location. There was a wonderful breakfast every day of our stay and she communicated well with us about anything we needed. The property was very comfortable and we felt safe while there. Using public transportation to get to/from the property was easy and convenient.

This is a unique place to stay, with interesting and quirky decor, superb and filling breakfast, very comfortable beds, quiet and tranquil, secure car parking, very friendly and helpful hosts - overall a wonderful experience and great value for money. We didn't use public transport so cannot comment on that, but parked closer to the centre and that worked really well.

Very good stay at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione:) Atypical house, original furniture, all the necessary comforts:). \nNorma is a lovely woman who embodies kindness and friendliness. \nShe gave us advice for our stay and was attentive. \nThe room is spacious, fully equipped + a terrace and especially a top breakfast (pistachio croissants, cream, cake, cold cuts, fruit juices, hot chocolate, pizza etc). \nThe 2 beds are very comfortable. \nRegarding transport, possibility to park your vehicle inside the B&B. \nBus 63 right next to it will take you to the metro to head to the city center (easy access and use: count between 40 and 50 minutes depending on your destination). \n24h ticket (7 euros) or 48h to be purchased in advance for bus and metro at the tobacco shop or metro. \nThanks again:) we will definitely come back to you if we have to pass through Milan again and will recommend your establishment to our friends. \n\nThanks:) \nLaurie and Elodie.

Great welcome and very friendly hosts. Atypical blue room, clean and spacious for 4 people. The Red one is great for 3 people. The place is quiet and pleasant. You can park your car inside the property. The location is a bit off-center from the center, but there is a bus line 1 minute away. The issue arises for returns with the bus after midnight. For those who want to see a match at San Siro, Norma will probably be able to offer you a driver who will take you back to the apartment from the stadium. Norma is great because she takes care of you. She communicates easily and quickly with you on Whatsapp. My favorite address for my stays in Milan.

B&B Atmosfera di Stagione more unique than rare: the furnishings, hospitality, and kindness of Mrs. Norma framed it. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the extremely spacious room, the little terrace, and, last but not least, the breakfast: pistachio croissants, cream, fruit tartlets, juice, and much more. This place, what a nice surprise, both for our hostess, what a nice meeting and nice person! Discovering an oasis of tranquility with sensational decor that opened a page of the past reminding me of my childhood. Ah, nostalgia. The bedding was of great quality with cotton bed linen, a mattress worthy of its name. The transportation to go to the city is not complicated. It is obvious that if we come back to Milan, it will be here.

The B&B is located in a very quiet area and really has a special atmosphere, the managers are friendly and with great availability they provided us with a very rich vegan breakfast. The subway station is accessible by bus or car, with a convenient covered parking lot near the station, the rooms are spacious, very clean, and well furnished. In short, really a place I didn't expect to find in Milan!

Our little family really enjoyed our stay at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione. Blue room is really nice and clean. Breakfast was great. The location is very quiet, in the suburbs of Milan, it is however really easy to go to downtown using public transportation. I can only recommend this B&B if you want to spend a few days in Milan.

Christmas and family atmosphere, warmth and friendliness of the owners, it was a beautiful weekend! Priceless the very well-kept breakfast with the fireplace lit. We will definitely come back!

Good morning, we stayed the weekend of the 14th, 15th of September at this B&B Atmosfera di Stagione. Excellent location: close to the highway exit, a few minutes by car from the red metro terminus, which takes you directly to the Duomo. Clean, comfortable rooms, tastefully furnished. Abundant and very good breakfast, especially Mrs. Norma's chocolate cake, excellent landlady. Recommended.

I can only recommend this location. I spent a few days in Milan and I must say that I couldn't have found better. The structure is truly unique, the decor is suggestive, really creates atmosphere. I usually don't give any 10 in ratings, for me 9 is the maximum. But on cleanliness, I made an exception to the rule. For my future stays in Milan, it will certainly be my reference point.

A corner of paradise... Cozy and magical B&B, cared for in every small detail. It is located away from the confusion, but its location is excellent to reach the center of Milan by public transport. What can I say, we immediately felt at home. With my husband and our two children, we spent two nights in the blue room, spacious and clean, every carefully selected and unique object makes it truly welcoming. Norma and her husband Giampaolo are delightful and helpful people. Excellent and plentiful breakfast served on a table prepared with care and elegance. We will definitely come back!

Norma, Jean Paolo, and family could not have been more welcoming and helpful! We became instant friends. Our room, the Verde room, was very comfortable, large shower, comfortable bed, wonderful kitchenette with everything you need. Bus and metro are easy to get to, and you can be in downtown Milan in no time. Covered & gated parking is great. We are looking forward to our return visit mid-May.

If you do not know Italy, this is the place to be, if you like Italy this is the only place to be, everything is perfect and family-based (a huge family..). We loved the time they spent for us bringing us to restaurants or bringing us to the metro just to be nice, it's just the most special. We absolutely recommend it, loved them.

The B&B that surprises you at the gates of Milan. Very kind managers, location curated in every detail, breakfast worthy of a 10 and praise not only for the products offered but also for the 'mise en place' worthy of the best boutique hotels. Next time I would like to stop for dinner too, they have a beautiful veranda!

We have stayed for 4 nights at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione and had a wonderful stay. Norma and Paolo are warm and welcoming hosts who really take care of their guests. They provide advice, recommendations, and assistance. The breakfast was delicious and never the same, but always beautifully presented and served in exquisite dishes. The linens, toiletries, and other facilities are of excellent quality. The location is ideal for a good night's rest and is only minutes away by bus/metro from the Duomo and other main attractions in Milan. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

The 'B&B Atmosfera di Stagione' was welcoming, with a clean and well-decorated environment. The only thing to note is that it is at least a 30-minute drive from Milan. We did not use the nearby metro. However, we recommend this B&B.

Ideal and unbeatable - a gem on the outskirts of the city. The property is located south of Milan, just outside, quiet in the greenery, near the Tangenziale. Ideal for travelers by car: parking (covered) safe and convenient on the property. To the metro (Park & Ride, 2.00 € per day) by car only a few minutes. In the city center then with the M1 (e.g. without changing to the Duomo) for 1.50 €. Easy and quick also to Malpensa. The hospitality of the hosts is unbeatable: attentive, helpful, loving and charming, fond of children and animals. Their carefully restored guest house as well as the individual, tastefully furnished guest rooms are a sight to behold and contain countless details (historical and contemporary objects, antiques, family heirlooms). Everything has a story. Very special the lovingly and individually prepared breakfast. The communication before arrival was friendly and helpful. Norma and Giampaolo, you have truly spoiled us and our stay with you far exceeded our expectations. We would have liked to stay longer. A thousand, a thousand thanks.
