Description
We have chosen to open a bed and breakfast to share these spaces, following the family tradition of enjoying moments of conviviality with friends that have always characterized this house.
The house dates back to 1907 and was originally a dwelling for washerwomen. The "Canabagno" ditch, which dates back to 1850, borders the house and directly enters the basement, allowing workers to wash clothes sheltered from the weather. On the raised ground floor, there is the living room, which had a large fireplace to dry clothes even during winter. The bedrooms are located on the first floor, accessible via a balcony, as in typical row houses. This feature is curious considering that the house was originally intended for a single family, unless it was designed to offer independent access to individual rooms in case they were used by third parties or by children.
The building is surrounded by a large plot of land, which was once used for hanging laundry and making hay for the horses owned. The washhouse also had a stable, a barn, and a carriage house where sheets were collected and delivered.
Today, these approximately 4000 square meters constitute a green oasis in which the house is immersed, making you forget you are in the city. Additionally, we offer ample on-site parking, a playground for children, and a space for your four-legged friends to romp around.
During the recent renovation, we optimized the spaces and added a bathroom to each room. We also replaced the fixtures, installed water-saving cisterns, a photovoltaic system for electricity, and a solar thermal system for hot water production. These choices allow us to be energy self-sufficient and contribute to the conservation of precious resources.
The furnishings and all elements related to hospitality are personally taken care of by the hostess, Norma. Thanks to her passion and attention to detail, we are able to create a refined and informal environment at the same time, making you feel completely at ease.

Norma is very welcoming and friendly. The guest rooms at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione are very clean and if you want a change of scenery, they are unique and original. Moreover, they are located near the bus, only 10 minutes to the subway. We are very happy with our stay.

Our first trip to Milan with my family was truly unforgettable. Choosing our accommodation based on the outstanding ratings turned out to be a decision we're extremely grateful for. The location was remarkably convenient, just a 12-minute journey from the city center, easily accessible by both car and bus. The added bonus of a complimentary on-site car park was greatly appreciated. Norma, our host, was the ideal person to meet on this journey. Her warm welcome and the extra effort she put into ensuring our arrival went smoothly, including the considerate texts sent a day before and on the day of our arrival, enhanced our overall experience. The breakfast served in her own living room was a unique and delightful touch, especially the coffee! Our room, "Camera Blue", was absolutely perfect and matched the descriptions on the website. It was meticulously maintained to high standards, thanks to Maria's diligent efforts. Upon departure, Norma generously gifted us a coffee maker and a pack of Lavazza coffee to enjoy at home. Dear Norma, we are deeply appreciative of everything you've done for us! We now enjoy your coffee every day, and it brings back wonderful memories of our stay with you. We definitely plan to return to your lovely abode soon!

The structure is located inside a gate with a beautiful park around it, quiet and welcoming. Clean rooms furnished in an original way, really beautiful. The breakfast room is a gem. If you have to go to San Siro, I highly recommend it!

An oasis outside the chaos of Milan. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night for a quick stopover for a concert at San Siro and it was a surprise to come across Norma and her family. Delightful place, well-kept, refined, in a wonderful setting and maintained with a love and care that we have rarely seen before. We will definitely return if passing through Milan, because it only took a few hours to feel at home, a special thanks to Norma for her infinite kindness and availability.

It seems out of the way but it's actually just a few minutes from the central station. A tranquil oasis in Milan, with a beautiful garden and premises full of history, tradition, and culture. Norma is a friendly host, very attentive to the guests and meticulous in the furnishings of her B&B. Impossible not to give the highest rating to all aspects.

We stayed with this wonderful host Norma, from May 18 to 20, 2023. She was a wonderful host. First of all, being this our first time in Milan, we got lost (wrong bus) which was our fault. We didn't end up far from this property but it was more than just around the corner. She came and picked us lost Americans up in her car, transporting us to the property. She made a great restaurant selection for us, again she transported us to the location. There was a wonderful breakfast every day of our stay and she communicated well with us about anything we needed. The property was very comfortable and we felt safe while there. Using public transportation to get to/from the property was easy and convenient.

This is a unique place to stay, with interesting and quirky decor, superb and filling breakfast, very comfortable beds, quiet and tranquil, secure car parking, very friendly and helpful hosts - overall a wonderful experience and great value for money. We didn't use public transport so cannot comment on that, but parked closer to the centre and that worked really well.

Very good stay at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione:) Atypical house, original furniture, all the necessary comforts:). \nNorma is a lovely woman who embodies kindness and friendliness. \nShe gave us advice for our stay and was attentive. \nThe room is spacious, fully equipped + a terrace and especially a top breakfast (pistachio croissants, cream, cake, cold cuts, fruit juices, hot chocolate, pizza etc). \nThe 2 beds are very comfortable. \nRegarding transport, possibility to park your vehicle inside the B&B. \nBus 63 right next to it will take you to the metro to head to the city center (easy access and use: count between 40 and 50 minutes depending on your destination). \n24h ticket (7 euros) or 48h to be purchased in advance for bus and metro at the tobacco shop or metro. \nThanks again:) we will definitely come back to you if we have to pass through Milan again and will recommend your establishment to our friends. \n\nThanks:) \nLaurie and Elodie.

Great welcome and very friendly hosts. Atypical blue room, clean and spacious for 4 people. The Red one is great for 3 people. The place is quiet and pleasant. You can park your car inside the property. The location is a bit off-center from the center, but there is a bus line 1 minute away. The issue arises for returns with the bus after midnight. For those who want to see a match at San Siro, Norma will probably be able to offer you a driver who will take you back to the apartment from the stadium. Norma is great because she takes care of you. She communicates easily and quickly with you on Whatsapp. My favorite address for my stays in Milan.

The owner, a kind and passionate person, shows attention to detail in everything: furnishings, breakfast, reception. The distance from the center wouldn't be a problem if connected by metro, but in reality, it also requires taking a bus that significantly extends the travel times.

B&B Atmosfera di Stagione more unique than rare: the furnishings, hospitality, and kindness of Mrs. Norma framed it. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the extremely spacious room, the little terrace, and, last but not least, the breakfast: pistachio croissants, cream, fruit tartlets, juice, and much more. Thank you and I hope to come back as soon as possible.

This place, what a nice surprise, both for our hostess, what a nice meeting and nice person! Discovering an oasis of tranquility with sensational decor that opened a page of the past reminding me of my childhood. Ah, nostalgia. The bedding was of great quality with cotton bed linen, a mattress worthy of its name. The transportation to go to the city is not complicated. It is obvious that if we come back to Milan, it will be here.

The B&B is located in a very quiet area and really has a special atmosphere, the managers are friendly and with great availability they provided us with a very rich vegan breakfast. The subway station is accessible by bus or car, with a convenient covered parking lot near the station, the rooms are spacious, very clean, and well furnished. In short, really a place I didn't expect to find in Milan!

This site is simply magical! It is a bit far from the center of Milan, but I don't regret being there. Norma, her daughters, Luca... everybody is so friendly and nice. Everywhere in this house you find some treasures! I can only recommend coming here. Thank you very much for everything. Michèle.

Our little family really enjoyed our stay at B&B Atmosfera di Stagione. Blue room is really nice and clean. Breakfast was great. The location is very quiet, in the suburbs of Milan, it is however really easy to go to downtown using public transportation. I can only recommend this B&B if you want to spend a few days in Milan.

Buongiorno, abbiamo soggiornato il weekend del 14, 15 settembre presso questo B&B. Posizione ottima: vicino all'uscita della tangenziale, a qualche minuto di macchina dal capolinea della metro rossa, che ti porta direttamente al Duomo. Camere pulite, comode, arredate con gusto. Colazione abbondante e molto buona, soprattutto la torta al cioccolato della signora Norma, ottima padrona di casa. Consigliato.

Posso unicamente che consigliare questa location. Ho passato alcune giornate a Milano e debbo dire che non potevo trovare di meglio. La struttura è veramente particolare, l'arredamento è suggestivo, crea veramente atmosfera.
Solitamente nei punteggi non passo nessun 10, per me il 9 è il massimo. Ma sulla pulizia ho fatto uno strappo alla regola.
Per i miei futuri soggiorni a Milano sarà certamente il mio punto di riferimento.

Un angolo di paradiso...
B&B accogliente e magico, curato in ogni piccolo particolare. Si trova fuori dalla confusione, ma la sua posizione è ottima per poter raggiungere il centro di Milano con mezzi pubblici.
Che dire, ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa. Con mio marito e i nostri due figli abbiamo trascorso due notti nella stanza blu, spaziosa e pulita, ogni oggetto ricercato e particolare la rende veramente ospitale. Norma e suo marito Giampaolo, sono persone deliziose e disponibili.
Ottima e abbondante la colazione servita su una tavola preparata con cura ed eleganza.
Torneremo di sicuro!

Norma, Jean Paolo, and family could not be more welcoming and helpful! We became instant friends. Our room, the Verde room was very comfortable..large shower, comfortable bed, wonderful kitchenette with everything you need. Bus and metro are easy to get to and you can be in downtown Milano in no time. Covered & gated parking is great. We are looking forward to our return visit mid-May.

If you do not know Italy, it is the lace to be, if you like Italy this is the only place to be everything is perfect and family (huge one..) based.
We loved it and the time they spent for us bringing us to restaurants or bringing us to the metro just to be nice, is just the most special.
We recommend it absolutely

Il B&B che non ti aspetti alle porte di Milano. Gestori gentilissimi, location curata nei minimi particolari, colazione da 10 e lode non solo per i prodotti offerti ma anche per la “mise en place” degna dei migliori hotel de charme. La prossima volta vorrei fermarmi anche per la cena, hanno una veranda bellissima!

Ich muss sehr lange überlegen, wann ich das letzte mal von einem Hotelauenthalt so begeistert war.
Empfang, Zimmer, Frühstück ist super!
Die Hotelbetreiber haben mit ihrer herzlichen Art den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Eindruck werden lassen.

We have stayed 4 nights at Atmosfera di Stagione and have had a wonderful stay. Norma and Paolo are warm and welcoming hosts who take really good care of their guests. They offer advice, recommendations and assistance. The breakfast was delicious and was never the same, but always beautifully presented and served in exquisite dishes.
The linen, toiletries and other facilities are of excellent quality. The location is ideal for a good restful sleep at night and it is only minutes away by bus/metro to the Duomo, and other main attractions in Milan. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Nous avons été accueillis par un couple très sympathique, très gentil; L'endroit est propre et bien décoré.
Le seul point a savoir et que nous avions pas compris c'est qu on est à au moins 30 mn en voiture de Milan. Nous n avons pas pris le métro qui se trouve pas très loin.
Mis à part ce point, nous recommandons ce B&B.

Ideal und nicht zu übertreffen – ein Kleinod am Rande der Stadt
Das Anwesen liegt südlich von Mailand, etwas außerhalb, ruhig im Grünen, nähe Tangentiale. Ideal für Reisende, die mit dem Wagen unterwegs sind: Parken (überdacht) sicher und bequem auf dem Grundstück. Zur Metro (Park & Ride, 2, 00€ pro Tag) mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten. In die Innenstadt dann mit der M1 (z. B. ohne Umsteigen zum Dom) für 1,50 €. Einfach und schnell auch nach Malpensa.
Die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber ist nicht zu übertreffen: aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, liebevoll und charmant, kinderlieb und Tierfreunde. Ihr aufwendig restauriertes Gästehaus wie auch die individuellen, geschmackvoll ausgestatteten Gästezimmer sind eine Augenweide und enthalten unzählige Details (historische und zeitgenössische Gegenstände, Antiquitäten, Familienerbstücke). Zu allem gibt es eine Geschichte. Etwas ganz Besonderes das liebevoll und individuell angerichtete Frühstück. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise freundlich und hilfreich.
Norma und Giampaolo, ihr habt uns richtig verwöhnt und der Aufenthalt bei euch hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Mille, mille grazie.
