I'm Marco, the Manager of B&B and Affittacamere Valchiavenna; I am pleased to have 20 years of experience in the non-hotel sector, first helping in the management of my parents' small B&B, and then - now 10 years ago - opening this larger and more professional business, I always do my best to ensure that every guest feels at ease and can bring with them a pleasant memory of the splendid Valchiavenna.

As a good sportsman fond of skiing, snowboarding, and biking (both MTB and road) I will be able to direct you to fantastic places in the Valchiavennasca, Engadine and along Lake Como; as a good fork then I am always ready to provide any information on typical local cuisine, on Crotti, and any other information on our traditions.

With me, you will also have the pleasure of meet Elena, my beautiful "boss";) and Cecilia and Martino, our little crazies:).

B&B Guest House Valchiavenna is located 1 km from Chiavenna, Via Roma 15, Mese (SO).

The structure is easily accessible from the main communication routes between Milan and Chiavenna or the most famous tourist destinations of Madesimo, Campodolcino, St. Moritz and Switzerland in general.

It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, in the center of the Vallotta di Chiavenna, in a private area with large garden, playground and private parking lot completely free.

Elena and Marco very kind and helpful. Weekend among friends. Quiet location but convenient for services. With the car you can quickly reach: crotti, ski slopes, lake and trails for beautiful walks. An excellent base.

Quiet place, central and convenient location for services. One thing to improve is the attention to the cookware, which really needs to be changed, and also the very worn sheets. Lastly, it's the first place where I didn't see the host in person, we always communicated by phone (very helpful), which is very strange and I would have definitely preferred to deal with in person.

I stayed at this B&B after a bike trip/work. Beautiful structure, in a nice location near the center of the small village. It is 1 km away from Chiavenna, so everything you need is nearby. Spacious room, clean and equipped with 2 TVs, shower, bathtub, and a small living room with kitchen... in short, you couldn't ask for better. The girl who welcomed me was kind and fulfilled my requests regarding the stay. I would come back. Well done.

New, cozy structure with all the comforts. Impeccable cleanliness on arrival (maybe a little less on departure but we did our best 😅). Elena, the owner whom I thank, patiently accommodated all our needs and helped us orient ourselves in the choice of restaurants and places. Highly recommended.

The manager with his wife and children are very nice and it is always a pleasure for us to come back. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen and a coffee machine. The bathrooms seem almost new and there is a washing machine. The rooms are perfect for two adults but also for a family with one or two young children. We like the fact that even dogs are welcome. All the guests were kind and quiet. From there you can go on many beautiful excursions, such as in the mountains, to the lakes or in the center of Chiavenna.

The structure has an excellent value for money considering both the summer season - August period - and the location. I did not use the services that the structure offers, as I was busy during the days of my stay. Excellent welcome from Marco, kind and professional. Also, the view is beautiful, which as a photographer I particularly appreciated.

Excellent structure for hospitality, location, and cleanliness. Marco and his family make you feel at home right away. They recommended places to visit and where to eat typical dishes. Strategic to discover the stunning valleys that surround it! The waterfalls of Acquafraggia can be easily reached by bike (we had our 2 and 4-year-old kids pedaling without problems). By car or by bike (much better), it is not a problem to move around, because in every direction, you can find beautiful places and helpful people. St. Moritz and Lugano are not far away, but we preferred to take advantage of the long cycling paths available. In short, all positive! We will come back even in winter!

We stayed one night at this B&B, a 30-minute walk from the center of Chiavenna. The apartment is spacious and equipped with all comforts, the owner is kind and always available to provide instructions to visit the area. The property has indoor parking with a large garden, pool, and sunbathing area. As for the price, we spent just the right amount. If I were to come back to the area, I would definitely return.

Great affordable solution to stay in this beautiful valley. I was very impressed by the cleanliness. The mini apartments are an ideal solution for those who want more flexibility with meals, being equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, and dishes. A stone's throw away there is a supermarket and a pharmacy. It's a shame we only stayed for one night, hopefully we will return soon.

My husband and I with our little dog stayed only 1 night, too bad we would have gladly stayed a few more days. The room equipped with every comfort, equipped kitchen where we could heat our dinner and have breakfast. A nice large terrace to relax, great for spring and summer. I highly recommend it.

The extremely kind and well-informed manager gave us very interesting suggestions, allowing us to plan our stay better and fully enjoy what the area has to offer, ranging from excursions, cultural activities, and food and wine experiences. As for the structure, being a guesthouse, the judgment is very personal because, from experience, everyone has different ideas and expectations. We, a family of two adults and two 3-year-old girls, had a good time; the room was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. In the end, the value for money is definitely advantageous. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I spent two very pleasant weeks in a quiet environment and a very relaxing atmosphere. We had a well-furnished studio with a terrace and a charming view of the mountains. Marco was a careful and meticulous host and at the same time discreet and very helpful. His advice allowed us to visit wonderful places. We had a great time and discovered an area of Italy rich in natural, landscape, and food and wine treasures. We will definitely come back!

I stayed at this property for several weeks for work in Chiavenna. I would describe the cleanliness, the rooms, and the price in one word: sublime! Not to mention Marco and his partner Elena, well for them the word sublime would be an understatement, it takes much more. My partner and I were treated like family, not just guests! Thank you guys, in short, highly recommended.
