Description
Our B&B occupies a manor house of the 18th century that has recently been restored respectful of its original features.
The house is located at Palanzo, a small sunny village at a level of 600 m, that is part of the commune of Faggeto Lario. The town is situated on the Eastern arm of Lake Como, half-way between Como and Bellagio, in the area between the two arms of the lake called Triangolo Lariano.
One of the major attractions of Palanzo is the big wine press of 1572, which is reenacted every year during the month of October on the occasion of the called the “Sagra del Torchio. ”

The stay does not include breakfast which is served on the terrace overlooking the lake, it includes hot drinks such as tea, coffee, milk and chocolate, cappuccino, fruit juices, cold cuts and cheeses, yogurt, egg, jams and homemade specialties, bread, pancake and cakes.

Inside our house that houses the Bed & Breakfast, for our guests, but also for those who want to spend a pleasant evening in our village, we offer the Home Restaurant service. On our terrace with a wide lake view you can enjoy traditional Italian and Lombard cuisine.

The house is an ideal starting point for walks and excursions to the surrounding mountains and the nearby villages. Palanzo is crossed through by the Strada Regia, an ancient track built by the Romans and used as a connection road between Como and Bellagio.
The villages of Faggeto Lario: Visit Palanzo and the close-by villages of Lemna (also on foot), Molina and Riva in order to discover their cobble stone alleys, small squares and typical restaurants.
Bellagio: You can reach Bellagio, “the Pearl of the Lake” and situated at the point where the lake divides in two branches, by car or public transport.

Property with a spectacular view of Lake Como, where the excellent and abundant breakfast is enhanced by that lake panorama. Accurate and punctual in providing information: both Mr. Luigi and Mrs. Marisa were always courteous and helpful. For my two daughters, the exceptional host was Mia(the house cat), always ready to play and receive cuddles.

Gio and Marissa are the most amazing hosts with a house, breakfast, and view that will simply mesmerize you! I could live here for weeks, months, and years!! Great ambiance of the village too! One of the best places I’ve ever been blessed to stay at!! Alan.

We had a great stay at Marisa and Gino's! The accommodation was superb (very large, spotless and fully equipped) and very well located: Palanzo is a small village between Como and Bellagio that is very quiet and typical. Gino took the time to explain to us everything we could do during our stay and to point out all the good restaurants! As for Marisa's breakfasts, they were delicious and very generous (fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, and a "special" cake every morning)! Go there with your eyes closed!
