Antica Dimora is located in a 16th-century building in Bergamo, near Suardi Park and 1 km from the cable car that connects to the Città Alta, Bergamo's historic center.
King Vittorio Emanuele III, Queen Elena, and King Umberto II stayed in the rooms of Antica Dimora.
Decorated in a classic style, two rooms feature antique furniture, while two rooms are furnished in a more modern style. Each room offers free WiFi, a 32-inch Smart TV with WiFi and Bluetooth, including channels such as YouTube and Netflix. Each room also features a refrigerator, a safe, a USB and mini-USB charger, a desk, and a private bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Antica dimora is a splendid B&B in Bergamo. Our room was very big with a fancy decoration. Reception, breakfast room and the room itself look like a "palazzio". The location is walking distance from old town and we had a parking place inside the hotel. The price was really affordable regarding the location and the charm of the B&B.

We stayed at this B&B for two nights! Calm, peace, and tranquility without equal! The host is a delightful person! The decor, like from times past, makes you feel like a little princess, and the comforts of modern times are not lacking! Abundant sweet/savory breakfast of excellent quality! Our overnight stay at Antica Dimora was excellent. The property is charming and the host clearly works hard to offer a unique stay in a peaceful setting. We were grateful for the secure parking and had a good night's rest because of the peace and quiet. The breakfast options were extremely varied and would cater for all tastes, served in a beautiful room in the property. We would thoroughly recommend Antica Dimora and would not hesitate to stay there again if we were in the Bergamo area again.

If you want to go to Antica Dimora in Bergamo, you have to stay there. Fantastic experience, perfect check-in, excellent private parking, spacious, elegant and very clean room. Excellent breakfast. The strong point is the owner, kind, friendly and helpful.

Charming and well-organized structure. Convenient to the upper part of Bergamo and the center of lower Bergamo; both destinations within walking distance. The Mergherlta room where we stayed was comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Varied breakfast (including fresh berries), both sweet and savory, and plentiful. Mr. Matteo is kind, present, and helpful. I stayed at this property in December 2023. The B&B Antica Dimora is located on the first floor of a beautiful and well-kept sixteenth-century palace. The owner, Mr. Marco, welcomes guests with professionalism, kindness, and courtesy. The spacious room with high and decorated ceiling, fireplace, and antique furniture. Large bathroom equipped with all comforts. The breakfast room is cozy and elegant with a rich selection of food ranging from sweet to savory (I would only suggest the possibility of choosing between two types of fruit juice). In the palace courtyard, there is the possibility to park the car by reservation at a cost of 5 Euros per day. Also pleasant is the walk along the historic Via Pignolo which leads to the center in a few minutes on foot. A thank you to Mr. Marco for allowing us to leave the car parked in the courtyard for a few more hours after check-out. Recommended.

Extraordinarily pleasant atmosphere with a historic flair and very friendly operator. Parking in the courtyard. Both the upper town and the lower town are easily accessible on foot. We have been there for the second time and will gladly come back.

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! The host is very kind and helpful. The building itself is an old palace and has a wonderful atmosphere. The location is perfect, centrally located between the old and the "new" town, and close to the funicular to the old city. The bed is very comfortable and breakfast delicious with lots of choice. Would certainly recommend to stay here. Also it has a parking space available.

This is a lovely B&B in a historic building. Excellent communication with Matteo before and during our stay. The breakfasts were an excellent buffet style offering. Parking was secure and easy. The property is about a 15-minute walk to the funicular for the Città Alta. This is a historic building so do not expect modern decor. We would come back.

Property as advertised in a palace with antique furnishings. We had a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. I feel that cold meat and cheese should be on a refrigerated display due to the room and city's ambient temperature. Bread, fruit, and drinks were perfectly fine. Amazing old and beautiful building. Matteo is a really nice host and told us about the history of the property. We arrived late but with the perfect explanation of Matteo we could park our car (which in the older parts of Bergamo is very difficult) right next to the B&B and get in our room with the use of door codes. It is central but quiet and we slept really well. Thanks Matteo.

This was a stunning property. Our room was spacious, elegant and immaculate (fit for a King and Queen!) Our bed was a dream. Our breakfast was delicious. We had free, on-site parking! There was no lift but Matteo assisted us in carrying our bags up the stairs. Our location was just a bit of a walk up to the Augustino Gate. Matteo was an excellent host. Thank you.

The host, Matthew, is truly wonderful and welcoming, and couldn't be more helpful. The building is breathtaking and full of history, very charming. The rooms are so historic, with the most beautiful shutters and windows. The breakfast was of fantastic quality with plenty of options. The beds weren't the most comfortable, and the showers weren't as powerful as I would have liked - but these were only two very insignificant points that did not impact my stay.

We selected the Antica Dimora B&B because of its central location right between the upper old city and the newer city center, both parts nicely reachable in walking distance. We were also intrigued by the B&B itself, being located in an old Italian palazzo. The room and interior was very nice and clean, big and with a sky-high ceiling. Matteo, the host, did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home! Breakfast was lovely, too! We would always choose this B&B again in Bergamo!

Beautiful B&B located within a historic building (Suardi palace) elegant and stately, very well maintained and with visible frescoes that take you back in time. The structure was quiet even though we had the Suite Sofia overlooking the street, but it is spacious with frescoed ceilings and antique furniture. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Some problem with the shower plate drain. Very beautiful breakfast room with frescoes, excellent breakfast, well-kept and generous both in quality and quantity. Each room has its own table ready for waking up. Equipped with free internal parking by reservation, very good also the location between the upper town and lower Bergamo. Congratulations to Mr. Matteo for his kindness, courtesy, and availability.

Position is perfect. The historic suite "Sofia" where we stayed is superb but needs a bit of renovation. Its lighting has to be improved. The suite looking on to the street is, in spite of double glass window and shutters, a bit noisy. The host is very professional and efficient. Breakfast is correct and served in a very nice room. We felt very comfortable and were warmly welcomed and farewelled by Matteo (even with a gift - as it's called nowadays in neotestamentary: casoncelli alla bergamasca. The location is perfect for exploring all of Bergamo (lower and upper town). We chose the accommodation also because it is housed in an old palace. Bergamo is truly an impressive city and the accommodation has contributed to our stay. Thank you very much!

The property is located in one of the most beautiful streets in Lower Bergamo. The location is also optimal for reaching (by foot or funicular) the Upper Town of Bergamo. I would like to underline the courtesy and kindness of the owner as well as the elegance of the property (Palazzo Suardi). Convenient and not to be overlooked is also the internal parking that allows you to leave the car in a quiet and safe place. The rooms are clean, elegantly furnished. The breakfast room is sumptuous and the breakfast is rich and tasty.

An excellent accommodation. Very centrally located. Friendly host. Very extensive breakfast. There may be some traffic noise at night. We were here in the cool late autumn, so the windows remained closed and the traffic didn't bother us. We will be very happy to come back.

Our host could not have been more accommodating or helpful. My only problem was the beds. Not that they were uncomfortable, but I prefer a bed more than a better than average cot type of arrangement. That said, we did sleep well. It would not keep me from going there again.

This is a wonderful place to stay, especially for a romantic getaway. It is not really suited to young children, and the elderly or people with mobility problems will struggle with the stairs and the geographical location in general; going to the old city (which is a must) is a bit of an uphill trek (15 minutes or more), although the new part of the town is very flat. Overall, I could not recommend Antica Dimora B&B in Historic Residence more highly. Matteo, the manager, is very friendly and accommodating, and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes' walk.

We had a wonderful time in Bergamo, the Antica Dimora B&B in Historic Residence is well placed for visiting and spending time in the best part of Bergamo, the historic part.\n\nThe accommodation itself is unassuming from the outside, but inside is quite remarkable, with a sweeping stone staircase leading the to the accommodation. With frescoes adorning the walls and ceilings and the history of the palace is interesting. There are only a few rooms, which adds to its charms. The host was fabulous and responded to emails prior to arriving. It's quiet and great for couples looking for a few days away. Breakfast choice was varied and the setting was superb. I couldn't rate this little gem of a find high enough for what we wanted. Thanks to Matteo.

Lovely old premises in Bergamo situated midway between the alta and bassa. Although the decor is in need of some restoration, the evidence of past grandeur still exists. The room was clean and spacious with wonderful frescoes on the ceilings of both the room and the breakfast room. Matteo the host was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and polite. Nothing was too much for him. He even provided us with a complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks. The breakfast was tasty, and there were plenty of choices. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent structure a few hundred meters from the center of Bergamo Alta, ancient palace from the 16th century with wonderful frescoes, feels like being in a museum, stunning breakfast room, rooms equipped with air conditioning but furnished in style with the structure. In the morning, you wake up in a magical atmosphere and have breakfast in a wonderful room. Very kind and helpful host.
