Description

NEW B&B on the lake with pool opening May 2019) Many years ago this was a factory of concrete products. Transformed into a home, it has retained its characteristics. Original flooring and ceilings, pipes and exposed systems, industrial style. The rooms are very large and have large windows. In front there is our swimming pool (5 x 8 meters built May 2019) in our garden with solarium, then the beach and the lake which are 50 meters away and can be reached on foot through a park. There is absolute tranquility, we are in a residential area. Breakfast is served in the garden or in our large living area. We offer free wifi, private parking (covered for motorcycles). In each room satellite TV. We are 5 minutes by car from Menaggio (ferries hydrofoils), and 40 km from Como.

I am Nadia, I had a B&B in Pantelleria for 12 years, Max had pubs and restaurants in Rome. When we came back "home", on our lake that we missed so much (we were born here), we met and immediately fell in love and we realized the dream of the B&B because we love to welcome, receive, host and spoil our guests.

Unusual, lovingly and tastefully decorated accommodation in old industrial premises. Good atmosphere and quiet, beautiful location with lake view. We immediately felt at ease. The bathroom is not directly in the room, but opposite: but you quickly get used to it. On the other hand, from the room there is direct access to the garden and swimming pool. Each breakfast comes with a surprise from Max. Nadja and Max are very nice and accommodating owners, who have fun and joy in renting out. Max always has the right and practical answer to all questions. Good restaurant tips including reservations. Behind a gate there is also good parking for the car. It was wonderful, relaxing days!

This is a good location to use as a base to explore Lake Como and Lugano and hosts Max and Nadia are very welcoming. We particularly appreciated the recommendations for restaurants in the area and Max getting us bookings with them! The building is an old cement factory so has an interesting industrial design aesthetic with a large open living area overlooking the pool. Breakfasts are great - served out in the garden. The pool is fresh and super clean with a nice seating area around it. Short walk through some trees to the lake edge. They have parking on site which would be fine for most cars but we found access a little tricky for our particularly large car.

Landlord Max and landlady Nadia are very accommodating and help with restaurant selection and reservation. For breakfast, there is fresh fruit every day and a new, homemade surprise. Beautiful, clean swimming pool. The access to the parking lot is unusual, but the car is safe behind a closed gate.

With my husband and the baby, we decided to 'disconnect' and take a break from the city for a long weekend and we had a great time. The B&B is located next to a stream facing the lake: in a slightly inconvenient area to reach the first time, but very very suggestive and private. From the B&B, it is possible to reach the center passing near the lake on a small bridge that crosses the stream. The room is very spacious and renovated in an industrial style with a private but external bathroom: it was not a problem for us for the few days of the stay. The pool just outside the room was a nice added value considering my little one's passion for water. The hosts are truly hospitable, generous with advice on what to do in the surroundings and where to eat: absolutely recommendations to follow. Excellent breakfast under the pergola by the pool.

We spent a nice weekend, the structure met our needs and expectations, good location with the beach nearby to enjoy the lake. Abundant breakfast served by the pool with accuracy by hospitality professionals.
