Aldo and Colette will welcome you in a recently renovated period villa, with two comfortable rooms (including a whirlpool bath) and a large sea-view terrace where you can pamper yourself during your stay's downtime.

We spent the Easter weekend in this magical setting. Beauty is everywhere. The hosts' welcome was unique and special. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and welcoming. The surrounding greenery and the sea view are enchanting. The location is convenient due to its proximity to Bordighera Alta and the sea. Highly recommended. We will return as soon as possible.

We have had a very pleasant stay at Villa Maddalena. At check-in we were welcomed with a very nice glass of wine and some delicious food by Aldo and his wife. We could park our car beside the house, had a very nice and newly renovated room with a comfortable bed and really enjoyed the fact that the old town of Bordighera was within walking distance. In fact, the beach also was located within 10 minutes of the property. Contact with Aldo was super efficient and through whatsapp, he made several recommendations and helped us whenever needed. The fact that we could use a fridge and smal kitchenette made our stay perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here!

I stayed for a week in this beautiful villa. The room is spacious, new, and equipped with all comforts. The terrace is spectacular, from which you can enjoy the view of the sea, perhaps while savoring a good coffee in the morning. Aldo and Colette, very kind, attentive, and very hospitable, have the knack of putting their guests at ease right away. Absolutely recommended.

My wife and I had a great time. Pleasantly welcomed by Mr. Aldo, owner of the bed and breakfast. The room was clean, well furnished, and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning. From the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Convenient parking, next to the property.

Aldo and Colette are super nice and friendly. Really beyond all expectations. My future husband Alessandro and I were welcomed warmly and cordially. We shared aperitifs and laughter, told life anecdotes and promised each other that we will return soon. The structure is practical, attached to the village of Bordighera Alta, and comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of May 2018, never been so pampered. A prestigious residence with every comfort and modernity. Welcome with focaccia and wine on the terrace overlooking the sea, and after a more or less long journey it is always a pleasant arrival. Highly recommended!

Very nice hosts in a beautifully renovated Villa Maddalena. New bedrooms with great individual bathrooms. Great breakfast with croissants, fresh fruits and Italian coffee. And Colette, your scrambled eggs are delicious! These lovely hosts give you very good recommendations for the lovely village of Bordighera and the region. And if they offer to cook for you, accept! It's simply delicious.

Beautiful room in a very nice house. Friendly landlord. Very comfortable mattresses, small fridge, wifi everywhere, Nespresso machine. Good breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruit. The only downside is the small plastic plate that is served. It's just a 2-minute walk to the old town.

Villa Maddalena is a wonderful find in the lovely town of Bordighera. The Villa is beautifully situated. Parking is easy and convenient, and the old town is just steps away. The room was graciously appointed with every modern convenience, modern, stylish, and so very comfortable in all respects. The owner is very kind and helpful, the room is spacious, well-finished, and well-equipped, with three mirrors, complete with a TV screen, and a large bathroom with a shower and a bathtub that are truly inviting at first sight, complete with every comfort. My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Aldo's bed and breakfast at Villa Maddalena. Aldo was very welcoming and shared a delicious bottle of local red wine with us on arrival. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a jacuzzi bath and wonderful shower. The breakfast was good and consisted of yogurt, fruit and croissant with fresh fruit juice and coffee. I would have liked some fresh bread but I am sure if we had asked Aldo would have provided. We were able to park our car at the villa which was great. The villa is very well placed for the centro storico where there are lots of great restaurants for dinner. We had a wonderful stay, the bed and breakfast was just what we needed, very reasonably priced and Aldo was a very kind and helpful host. We will come back again.

This is a beautiful villa from the 19th century completely renovated with two spacious and well-equipped rooms. The terrace, where breakfast is served, has a charming sea view. There is the possibility to park the car in the garage below. But the real added value is the owner: Mr. Aldo Natta.

Villa Maddalena combines the beauty of being an ancient structure with the comfort of modern and intelligent furnishings. Aldo is a friendly and attentive host, Colette is nice and instinctive. The breakfast is rich and I believe that Aldo is available to meet the needs of every single guest. He did it with us. The only downside is being on a busy road without a sidewalk, but you can take alternative routes to the main one after 50 meters from Villa Maddalena. Nevertheless, you sleep well and without being disturbed by the traffic on the road. We will return and recommend it to our friends.

It is a real pleasure to give a review of Villa Maddalena where my husband and I had a wonderful time. It is an 18th-century villa recently renovated, Aldo and Colette are very kind and truly hospitable. The two rooms are comfortable, spacious, tastefully furnished with modern decor and equipped with every comfort (underfloor heating, whirlpool tub, spacious shower, large screen TV, hairdryer, memory foam mattress). Breakfast is offered in a beautiful room with frescoes on the ceiling and a stunning sea view. In summer, it can be enjoyed on the veranda. Aldo provides you with fresh croissants and focaccia. From the room, you cannot see the sea because it is on the ground floor, but just step outside and the view is breathtaking especially in the morning. The location is close to the historic center, on an uphill avenue; it takes 5 minutes to walk to the sea. It can be a bit inconvenient to enter and exit the private parking of the villa if you have a slightly large car, but it is a small detail compared to everything else. We will definitely come back. We have been to Villa Maddalena many times, one of the most beautiful places on the Riviera, but we have never had such a fantastic room for such a low price. Normally we stay in a hotel, but this time we chose the B&B. The room was simply brilliant and the bathroom was pure luxury. The best part is the kindness of the owner. Every morning he brought us fresh croissants and fulfilled our every wish. If he offers to cook for you, accept it. It's delicious. So, folks, it's worth it. The only downside is that you need to be good at walking because the villa is located in the old part of Bordighera. However, there is a bus that takes you there and if you have a car, there are no problems. We thank Aldo for the wonderful time. Verena and Robert we will come back.

We were welcomed in this splendid villa by Mr. Aldo in a courteous, friendly and polite manner; with a good bottle of wine and abundant strawberries. The room has excellent space, is well furnished, elegant and comfortable, and finally has a giant screen television and a beautiful bed of great and rare comfort. The air conditioning is excellent and ensures an ideal climate, and the bathroom is superb, equipped with both a large shower space and a nice whirlpool tub. The bidet and toilet are separated from the rest of the large bathroom with a door that guarantees maximum privacy. Everything is brand new, finished with delightful taste and taken care of in every detail. As mentioned, Aldo and Colette, delightful and friendly, will pamper you with delicious croissants and a super focaccia from Liguria, in addition to much more. Fantastic location for lovers of ancient Bordighera (50 meters), while for the sea you need to foresee a nice and healthy walk. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival, we are welcomed by the owner of the property, Mr. Aldo, a very kind person, who immediately makes us feel at ease by greeting us with a smile and offering us a refreshing drink. We have been fans of bed and breakfasts for several years and have already stayed in a good number of them. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful one we have rented. It is both chic and trendy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Let's talk about the owner: his welcome is beyond all expectations, we have never been received so well. Aldo is attentive to his guests, he takes time and care for us, his breakfasts are delicious. It will remain a very good holiday memory, we had a hard time leaving the house which is magnificent and Aldo to whom we can give a 10/10 or even 12/10 if that were possible. We will return.

We stayed at Villa Maddalena for one night, passing through to France. The house is actually very close to the highway exit, but right by the sea; the structure is brand new, tastefully furnished, and equipped with every comfort. The managers were uniquely kind and friendly, the only pity was not being able to stay longer.

The place is very quiet even though it is on the main road connecting Bordighera Alta to the sea. The welcome was very courteous and kind from Aldo who, due to the clumsiness caused by inexperience, comes across as very sweet and a bit naive, in keeping with the peculiarity of the place. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and the hot tub deserves a relaxing stop after walks in the surrounding area. Very convenient also for those, like us, who have a small child (an additional crib is provided). In front of a stunning welcome plate of strawberries, the breakfast was rich but a bit standard (excluding the fresh brioche and focaccia). The only advice I can give is to take greater care in sourcing products for breakfast (perhaps at zero kilometers, using fresh yogurt and milk from the nearest dairy or jams produced by local farmers). In any case, the average rating is a full 9, especially for the quality/price ratio. When we return to Bordighera, we will know where to go back.
