Description

Old 600's rustic house, surrounded by olive trees and transformed into a noble villa. A lot of restoration work has been carried out over time, respecting the villa's original architecture and retaining all of its original characteristics, such as: marble, slate, stone walls and wooden work. Together with its period furniture and fittings, Villa il Respiro is a special and serene place in which to spend one's relaxing moments.

Located along the old Roman Way, which led inland from the coast, and perched on a promontory, the villa dominates the Gulf of Tigullio. From here one can admire Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure e Rapallo on one side, and Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante on the other.

Due to such a central position all the main resorts in the Tigullio Gulf can be easily reached. From its garden, and by means of typically Ligurian steps, one can also have access to the beach of Marina di Bardi.

Enchanting place. Charming structure even if a bit spartan. Just a few small attentions and more care would be enough to make it better without giving up on essentiality.

The house is an old house but well furnished. Air conditioning could be useful for some bedrooms. Federico is very helpful for any request. The place is quiet, with a view over the sea, well situated not far from Rapallo, with a large parking lot. We spent a very pleasant time there.

Buon giorno, mi dispiace che non si sia trovata bene. Per quanto riguarda la colazione le brioche che usiamo sono di pasticceria e arrivano tutte le mattine fresche il resto per legge deve essere confezionato in mono porzione, quindi non possiamo cucinare nulla. Cordialmente Federico.

All good, very nice house, consistent in style and furnishings, perhaps the garden would need ordinary pruning, however the lush nature has its charm, convenient parking (which is not taken for granted in the area), beautiful and uncrowded beach. Breakfast is complete and pleasant also for the location.

Nice location and kind welcome. The charm of the delabré would be very attractive if the structure were well maintained instead it is quite neglected. Wide room for improvement of the external parts (potentially splendid garden) and internal (bathroom).
