Description

The Villa Caterina farm was born from the constant work done by Vittorio and his family to re-cultivate some of their olive groves, in full respect of the territory and its delicate balances.

The farm is located in LEVANTO, in a typically Mediterranean landscape, just 2 km from the town center and the beach, 8 km from the PARCO NAZIONALE DELLE TERRE.

In a farmhouse with Ligurian architecture, you will find four bright double bedrooms, all with private bathroom, surrounded by the olive grove, fruit trees, an equipped garden and a reserved parking lot.

Vittorio speaks French and English, has a degree in environmental sciences, will be able to help you discover our splendid region, its typical crops and the great biodiversity that characterizes it.

Breakfast is served in the garden or in the internal room, you will have fresh croissants, bread and focaccia baked for you every morning by a renowned local bakery, jams and honey from Ligurian farms, spreadable chocolate, our seasonal fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, milk and cappuccinos.

No problem for your car:
- a large reserved parking is available in front of the house,
- a pass will allow you to park for free in the center and in the train station area or at a reduced rate on the seafront.

After graduating in marine environmental sciences, with the precious help of his family, Vittorio decided to renovate an old farmhouse owned by the family and the surrounding olive grove, creating a small but very well-kept accommodation facility.

He is married to Elena and father of Francesco. He speaks English and French, loves mountain biking and running, knows the area in which he lives well and is always available to help you plan your excursions.

Villa Caterina is immersed in the green countryside of Levanto, about two kilometers from the beach and the historic center.

Levanto is located on the Riviera Ligure di Levante, on the border with the Cinque Terre National Park.
In this charming town you will discover:
- one of the most beautiful beaches in Liguria, today a famous destination for surfers, partly free, partly equipped,
- a charming historic center with its medieval loggia, shops, bars, restaurants and a cinema
- gardens with rides for children,
- a walk on the sea and a small port from which to organize underwater excursions or boat trips,
- a cycle and pedestrian path that, through the tunnels of the old railway line, leads to the nearby villages of Bonassola and Framura
- the possibility of practicing various sports: bicycle tours, swimming lessons, sailing, tennis, skateboarding. .
- concerts, tastings, literary presentations, beach parties and performances by the historic group of musicians and flag-wavers.

Villa Caterina will be a good starting point for your excursions:

We chose Villa Caterina to escape the chaos of the capital and it was the best choice we could make. Everything was so magnificent that we didn't want to leave. The structure is well maintained, clean, fragrant, in the peace of a unique territory. Excellent location, the pass for the station is convenient, but above all a praise to Vittorio, it's almost difficult nowadays to find such hospitality and dedication. What a lovely encounter we had with Vittorio, discreet and caring! The property is very beautiful, located in a peaceful area, much appreciated after a day in the Cinque Terre. The room is comfortable with a view of a lovely terrace and the breakfast is plentiful. The parking pass provided by Vittorio allows free parking from Levanto station, the starting point for wonderful hikes, by foot, by train or by boat. A great address to share without moderation! Agriturismo Villa Caterina is a charming small accommodation, lovingly decorated, without frills. Everything you need is there. The cozy seating - stone terrace - is nestled in the greenery right by the rooms. You can sit outside for a long time. The location is quiet and very convenient for exploring the Cinque Terre. Levanto town can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. The path is okay, just a short stretch without a pedestrian path, which is tiring as it is very chaotic. You also receive a parking permit which allows you to park there for free. Levanto offers nice places to eat or simply stroll. Host Vittorio seems to run his accommodation with joy. He is warm, attentive, and has many useful tips for the holiday. He always has time for a chat if you want. Breakfast is simple and with local products. We enjoyed it. Warm greetings to Vittorio.

We had a great stay at Agriturismo Villa Caterina. To begin with, the property is isolated and surrounded by greenery and flowers, making the place extremely pleasant and quiet. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and all close to the terrace. As for breakfast. Excellent! A piece of fresh focaccia every morning, organic herbal teas, organic yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh juice, good bread, muesli. Quality and quantity are guaranteed. The property is a 5-minute drive from the station and the sea. The big plus: the parking badge included in the room rate, allowing us to park easily at the station and in town. Vittorio is an extremely helpful, attentive, and pleasant person. He welcomed us by taking the time to explain many things about the city and the Cinque Terre. This stay was really very pleasant, no negative points and I highly recommend Agriturismo Villa Caterina!

The professional welcome and the kindness of Vittorio, who speaks French, are very useful for visiting the Cinque Terre and the region. Agriturismo Villa Caterina is charming and has 4 rooms. Our room had a large bed, a comfortable bathroom, a child's bed, and a storage room, the decoration is nice. Breakfast is served by Vittorio, to whom you can ask for daily tips. With the room price, we benefit from a pass for free parking in the city of Levanto, especially the one at the train station (which is 5 minutes from the villa). We bought a "Cinque Terre Pass" at the station for 2 days, so we could enjoy the many trains to visit the Cinque Terre villages.

Very beautiful house, very beautiful garden, very well furnished room. Fridge available, tea break can be taken on the different terraces. A space for each room. Charming and very discreet hosts. The parking card is a plus. I highly recommend this accommodation. We were three, one adult, a 12-year-old child, and a dog.

We had a great time at the Agriturismo Villa Caterina, everyone was very welcoming indeed. We would highly recommend the accommodation. It was like staying at home. We even had our own shelf in the fridge, which was needed as it was hot! The garden was an extra bonus for me as I am a gardener. Very, very warm welcome from Vittorio and his parents. The room was very, very pleasant and very, very clean and very, very beautiful like the whole villa. We really enjoyed our five days at Agriturismo Villa Caterina. Excellent address to discover the Cinque Terre. Guesthouse in a very quiet location while being close to the center of Levanto (5 minutes by car). Vittorio, the owner, is very attentive. Everything was impeccable. Spacious rooms with plenty of storage. Very clean throughout the house. Private parking right in front of the house. Very generous breakfast with quality products, taken in the garden throughout our stay because the weather allowed it. Possibility to use the kitchen to have a hot drink in the evening, for example. Very useful provision of a parking card allowing free parking in the Levanto station parking lot and other parking lots in the city (to go to dinner at the restaurant, for example, to start hikes or take the boat from Levanto).

We followed his wise advice to the letter for hikes, discovering the 5 Terre, restaurants and everything was perfect. This establishment is truly excellent; very quiet place, spacious, clean, tastefully furnished rooms and premises. Excellent bedding; Magnificent garden. Breakfasts are served in the garden (if the weather is nice). They are very plentiful and the service is perfect. The owner is remarkably kind which makes you appreciate the place even more. He provides you with all the necessary information and more if needed. The map allowing free parking in Levanto is truly appreciable. We recommend this establishment 100%.

An unforgettable stay. A truly beautiful structure immersed in greenery. Relaxing, welcoming, and with all the comforts one expects from a Bed and Breakfast as it should be. Located a few minutes from the train station that quickly takes you anywhere through the 5 lands. The only point not reachable by train is PortoVenere, which can be reached by ferry. How do I know all these things? Thanks to Vittorio, the very kind owner. Always available. Very friendly. He even provides a pass to park the car in the two main parking lots of Levanto and will tell you everything you need to know. What can I say. Well served and revered. I was really happy.\n\nThe price is really fair for us poor Italians, especially considering that for eating out in the 5 lands you need a small fortune! This problem can be solved with the shared kitchen provided in the structure, equipped with all comforts! Unfortunately, I didn't use it because I was out all day, lost in the meanders of wonderful villages and beaches. Breakfast is typically Italian, with delicious focaccias from a local bakery. The rooms are very beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. Perhaps the TV is a bit small, but, after all, who has time for TV?\n\nIn conclusion: Highly recommended!

Excellent starting point to visit the Cinque Terre. Just outside the town of Levanto in a very quiet area. A pass is given to park for free throughout Levanto, even in front of the station.
