Description

The Raggio di Sole guesthouse is located on the third floor (without elevator) of a typical building in La Spezia, just a one-minute walk from the central station.

The rooms have private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and towels, hairdryers, air conditioning, a mini fridge, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a kettle.

The ATC parking lot under the station is very close, while the free parking lot in Piazza d'Armi is a 10-minute walk away.

By walking along via Prione, the city's main street, you can reach Molo Italia, from where ferries depart for Cinque Terre, Lerici, Porto Venere, and Portofino.

Great location, excellent communication with the host who provides plenty of tips on sights, where to buy bus tickets and things to see. The room is new, clean and ideally located for the train station toward the Cinque Terre and for the city center's restaurants in the evening.

The location is excellent, 100 meters from the train station and very close to restaurants and shopping. This location is truly a find, well worth it. The room is very spacious and super comfortable, as well as being very clean. The only drawback is that the air conditioning was quite noisy and had broken vents, blowing air onto the floor, making it difficult to cool the room. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and recommend it for those who, like us, need to explore the 5 Lands or the surrounding area. It is literally located a stone's throw from La Spezia's central station and is a perfect base for getting into the city center. The room is clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and Manuel is a very attentive, kind, and helpful host. The building where the room is located is a bit dated and does not have an elevator; for us, it was not a problem, but it should be noted in case you have particular mobility difficulties. Excellent value for money.

Raggio di Sole turned out to be the best choice for staying in La Spezia, especially for those, like me, who intend to visit the Cinque Terre. The proximity (a few minutes on foot) to the station adds a lot of value to the structure. Moreover, the manager was very attentive, available, and precise in the explanations. The room was spacious, bright, well-equipped, and quiet! I have nothing negative to report! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended! (I did not use the breakfast service, so I could not express myself regarding that).

You can't beat this location if you want to explore Cinque Terre and La Spezia. And a good solution for the breakfast (across the street). The only thing we didn't like was the very loud air conditioning which had to be turned off because of the noise. Which means the room gets hot.
