The Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the green valley of L'Aquila, with its fine vineyards, lush palms and fruit orchards, medioeval castles and ancient churches.
The Pernambucco is 15 minutes walk from Finalborgo, and it is 10 minutes by bike from the sea and from the wonderful beaches of the Riviera, famous for their crystal clear water, directly on the most beautiful trails of Finale and it is 20 minutes walk from the climbing sites.
The B&B is an hour's drive from the Ligurian Alps, where you can do trekking, mountain climbing and ski mountaineering. From here you can enjoy a panoramic view ranging from Corsica to the Apuan Alps down to the Central Alps.
Beautiful walks suitable for adults and children on the amazing karst highlands of Finale, immersed in the Mediterranean land, in the footsteps of the prehistoric man.
The B&B is an old farmhouse whose foundations date back to the year 1000. It was renovated in spring 2010. Particular attention was paid to maintaining the original architectural features.
An oasis of peace, where we chose not to take television, to allow our guests to "switch off" and relax in the frugal tranquility of the countryside.
After a day of sun and sea or sport our guests can enjoy warm summer nights in our beautiful terrace under the moonlight in front of Castel Govone.
At breakfast you will enjoy the excellent local specialities, and in the right season you will taste the very special orange “Pernambucco”, future slow food produce, which is the typical fruit of this valley.
In our kitchen there is a large fridge and a microwave available for our guests. Although it is not possible to cook, on request we provide disposable plates, glasses and cutlery for those wishing to have lunch or dinner with ready-to-eat dishes on the terrace or in the living area.
Furthermore, Pernambucco is an ecobnb, a lodge which aims at changing the way of traveling by supporting a tourism respectful of the environment, of local economy and communities.

In order to get to Pernambucco, after parking in via Aquila in a very quiet area, you must walk a little bit uphill (ca 35 meters) to get to our gate.
From here you have to walk onto a short cobblestone and then two stairs which lead into the B&B.
Therefore Pernambucco is not a B&B suitable for people with walking problems or fast fatigue; it is instead the ideal location for sport fond people looking for a quiet place far from the busiest areas of "finalese" (which are at the same time quickly reachable).

We offer different kinds of bread, butter, home made jams and marmelade, croissants or home-made cakes, yoghurt, fruit salad in summer, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit juce, milk, coffee and a wide tea and herb tea selection.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 a. m., and it can be anticipated if requested.

I love nature, the green and the peace of the country life (as long as it is not far away from the sea, which I adore!), open air and summer days.
After having worked around the world for many years, I finally found the location of my dreams!
I have always loved old peasant houses, their plain and clean style, their simple but functional furnishing, and this is what I tried to maintain in my B&B!

My husband Giovanni, an alpine guide very fond of climbing in Finale, our two sons and a very good friend help me from time to time.

The property is a gem. Very beautiful and cared for in every detail. Very close to Finalborgo and 15 minutes from the sea. Margherita is extremely kind, a lovely and very helpful person. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us with cake and homemade jam, everything was delicious. I will definitely return.

Very pleasant stay in a "Provençal" structure that reflects the personal taste of the hosts. The only issue was the loft bed which, if you have needs to reach the facilities at night, is not overly comfortable. A wonderful place, wonderful hosts, very beautiful rooms, furnished with great attention to detail. An incredibly delicious breakfast with homemade bread and freshly squeezed orange juice from their garden. Everything is of organic quality, cheese and eggs purchased from the local farmer. Here we deliberately avoid meat, in full harmony with our philosophy. We had a wonderful stay and will return. Thank you for everything!

Ho notato tuttavia il basso punteggio che hai dato alla nostra prima colazione e francamente me ne stupisco molto, perché l'attenzione che diamo a questo momento e alla nostra offerta è sempre stato uno degli aspetti più apprezzati del nostro b&b. Proponiamo ogni giorno, con servizio al tavolo, macedonie di frutta fresca, yogurt con musli, pane bianco e integrale preparato con farine biologiche macinate a pietra, marmellate e confetture artigianali, brioches o torte fatte in casa, infusi di limoni ed erbe aromatiche del nostro giardino. Colazioni che sono in genere sempre apprezzate dai nostri ospiti. Ricordo che voi avete chiesto invece di avere dei toast, che vi ho preparato ogni giorno, e che non avete mai voluto null'altro se non del té e un po' di pane e marmellata. Immersed in nature and peaceful, a 10-minute walk from Finalborgo, 5 minutes by car to reach the sea. We appreciated the clean rooms, furnished with great taste, quiet and comfortable. Very pleasant the ancient Roman road that in 10 minutes on foot leads to Finalborgo. The owner, a kind and helpful person, prepared for us a very good breakfast with natural and tasty products, homemade bread and jams, and also gluten-free options for a celiac person! We will definitely come back, to climb together with the owner (mountain guide) the famous cliffs in the area. Thank you for the passion and commitment you put into this place!

Magical place! I was here a year ago with a friend and I came back with my family to spend 3 days of peace. Margherita is a wonderful host! Structure with an excellent value for money, difficult to reach from the parking area if one has leg problems. Excellent cleanliness. Our loft room was equipped with air conditioning with the private bathroom just outside the door, which does not create any problems. The abundant breakfast served on the panoramic terrace, weather permitting, is homemade with products like jams made by the owner, a friendly and kind person, who contacted us even before our arrival to give us the correct directions to reach the structure. Overall, my judgment can only be very positive.

This Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet countryside area, well-maintained and clean, with a large terrace to relax and enjoy breakfast. The room was very nice, with excellent cleanliness and provided with everything needed. In the common area, you can store your own food in the fridge and use the kitchen to heat up ready meals or for relaxing breaks. The most appreciated aspect was Mrs. Margherita, who welcomed us making us feel at home and pampering us with excellent, rich and delicious homemade breakfasts. Very kind and helpful, highly appreciated. I recommend it for those seeking relaxation or wanting to go on hill trips, but it's also just a few minutes away from the sea. Thank you Margherita!

Excellent accommodation located in an ideally isolated and relaxing spot. Perfect for spending a few days as a couple to disconnect. B&B nestled in the inland of Finalborgo, panoramic position overlooking the valley, enjoyable from the beautiful terrace where the excellent breakfast is served: homemade jams, wonderful cakes, and croissants. Excellent value for money. The owner Margherita is an exquisite person, very kind, super helpful and extremely attentive to the anti-Covid regulations of this delicate period. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach the center of Finalborgo and the bus stop (terminus) that goes to Savona, convenient to go down to the promenade and visit the neighboring towns (Varigotti and Noli). Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

We stayed for two nights at the property, our stay was truly amazing. Place immersed in the countryside of Finalborgo, a short walk from the center. A place to find peace. Mrs. Margherita fantastic, made us feel at home. The breakfast abundant and very good, given that most of it is produced by them. We rented the Lubna room from Margherita for 1 week. Our lovely private bathroom was located outside the bedroom, right across the corridor. Since the other rooms include the bathroom, you rarely meet anyone along the corridor, so it made no difference to us to have the bathroom outside the room.\n\nThe whole house is very lovingly furnished, we immediately felt very comfortable. You have the possibility to use the kitchen for self-brought food, including microwave, kettle and fridge. Margherita provides dishes, vinegar, and oil.\n\nThe breakfast was very tasty, with homemade bread, homemade jams, and cakes. It was served to us on the large terrace with the wonderful view.\n\nEverything was very clean and well-kept.\n\nFor us, the quiet location near Finalborgo was very ideal. You can reach the village in about 15 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by bike. We could safely store the bikes at Margherita's.\n\nFrom Finalborgo, there are buses serving the region. Recently, a Tourist Card is available, which allows you to travel by bus for free and get discounts on various entrance fees.\n\nWe were able to leave our car, which was of great benefit given the scarcity of parking in the city.\n\nMargherita is a great host and provided us with excellent information on all questions regarding the region, restaurants, hikes, etc.\n\nDear Margherita, thank you very much!

Excellent facility. Excellent service. Very friendly and polite managers. Excellent management of the structure. The rooms could use a few more square meters. It is preferable to stay in the less cold seasons. Very quiet and relaxing area for walks and many other activities. Not very easy to find for traditional navigators and due to the traffic in Finale, it might be useful to ask for directions before arrival. Beautiful view even though it's in the valley. Overall very good.

Note of attention: the Lubna loft room has a double bed without a frame, consisting of two single mattresses resting on the underlying wooden planking. A corner of paradise. I discovered this bucolic retreat three years ago and fell madly in love with it: the silence, the croaking of frogs in the evening, the freshness on the terrace, the lights of Castel Govone, the scent of freshly washed sheets, the pleasure of feeling "at home". A truly authentic area of Finalborgo. We love the vegetable gardens along Via Aquilla. The rooms at the B&B are well thought out and beautifully furnished. New, clean and elegant B&B with Provencal furnishings that make the environment very warm and welcoming. Kind and helpful owners. I highly recommend it suitable for couples and families.

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast, it is located in the tranquility just behind Finalborgo. From the terrace where you have the small breakfast, you can enjoy a beautiful view.

The place is simply a pearl in the Aquila valley, where tranquility and peace reign, a corner of paradise where one can rediscover the beauty that nature offers. Margherita's breakfasts are a return to origins (you wouldn't want to leave the table). Comfortable and clean rooms, we had a great time and will be back soon! This year's vacation was quite short. The weather was not the best, but everything was compensated by the excellent quality of the B&B, where a kind and very helpful welcome, rich breakfasts on the terrace, and the charm of the structure made our weekend relaxing and comfortable.
