Description

Il giardino degli ulivi is a B&B in the countryside, overlooking the sea with a breathtaking view of the marvelous Ligurian coast. It is situated on the hills behind Savona and thanks to this advantageous position, a few meters above sea level, it is easily reachable by car from the nearby Albisola Marina and Superiore and from Savona itself.

Our house is comfortable and comfortable, we have three rooms: one triple, one double and one single. In each room there is the possibility of adding a bed. The double has a dedicated bathroom, while triple and single have both the bathroom in the room. The kitchen is large, is the only common room, can accommodate up to 6 people at the same time. Equipped with every accessory and a small pantry available for guests with basic groceries. The exterior includes the terrace, several gardens with bands and an enclosed area dedicated to small 4-legged friends.

Guests can enjoy, as well as their private rooms, the large kitchen, the laundry room, the terrace and all the outdoor areas duly fenced, including free parking and bowling alley.

Living in this house offers a pleasant feeling of psychophysical wellbeing..for those who will enjoy this experience I guarantee a good recharge!

Location with a very picturesque view of the Savona hill. If you are looking for relaxation, silence and tranquility and want to enjoy nature away from the chaos, this is ideal. The road is a bit mountainous but passable; the view is worth it. Very nice house, furnished with antique wooden furniture (grandparents' house). Everything very clean. The hosts are really kind and lovely (Luce and Laura). Breakfast with zero-kilometer products, abundant; not the usual breakfast. If you appreciate natural products, you will find them here. Attention to details and care for the guest (from personal care products in the bathroom to little treats like chocolate and candies on the bedside table). Maybe in the colder periods a bit more heating: the heating plate in my room did not warm up much. The staircase is a bit steep if you have mobility problems, but apart from this everything is ok. If possible I will gladly return. Thank you for everything.

We booked this accommodation because we were leaving early the next morning by ferry to Corsica. It is a beautiful location with very neat rooms. The welcome by Julia was very warm. We were with a folding trailer. Getting up there was quite an undertaking. She helped us very well with that. The view is amazing. And the terrace is very atmospheric in the evening.

The structure is located in an elevated position compared to Savona, far enough to rest in tranquility and in 10 minutes be in the center. Spacious Blue Room with a beautiful view, breakfast is buffet style, rich and tasty! Lucia is helpful and kind, my partner and I were on a motorbike and she let me park under the veranda. If I return near Savona, I will try to stay here again.

We were guests on the night of our wedding: we were welcomed with the room decorated with balloons and petals (beautiful surprise), despite the late arrival time. Also in the morning, we were able to check out without rush and recover from the tiredness of the day before. Breakfast outdoors with a beautiful view, very kind owners; a romantic location in nature perfect for the occasion (and also easy to reach).

I stayed with my girlfriend at this B&B and we will certainly return. The owners, a very nice and courteous family, are all very helpful: in fact, Lucia welcomed us first, showing us the structure and introducing us to her parents. Together they recommended us both excellent restaurants nearby and the most beautiful beaches to visit. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy, equipped with all comforts (for example, the hairdryer). The structure enjoys an exceptional panorama, surrounded by greenery with a splendid view of the sea. In the evening you can also admire the stars. It is located in the hills, the road is a bit difficult but Lucia provides all the information in advance to reach the B&B. The breakfast is abundant and good, special mention to Mr. Davide who brings fresh focaccia for the guests in the morning. Overall, fully satisfied.

Lucia and her mother are two super hosts and make you feel at home. Their property is in a fantastic location with a breathtaking view over the entire city and the Ligurian Sea. The slight difficulty in reaching the place (but Lucia will give you all the necessary directions) is greatly rewarded by the panorama you will enjoy, immersed in the silence of the Savona hills. I recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.

Beautiful location in a dominant position with a spectacular view of Savona. Well-kept and very clean environments, the family that manages this B&B is very friendly and extremely helpful. Comfortable room and beautiful, spacious bathroom. Perfect car parking. We had a great time, highly recommended and if you are in the area, definitely worth trying.

The view is absolutely stunning! This B&B is at the very top of a hill, so you'll have a great view over Savona and the Mediterranean sea. This means that getting there by foot is quite a long way up, and it's about a 45-minute walk from the city centre, but I think it's worth it. The hills next to the B&B are amazing for hiking. Because the host was away during my stay, I was hosted by her parents. They didn't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem. They did everything they could to make my stay comfortable, and were amazingly welcoming and hospitable. I originally planned to stay for just two nights, but I extended my stay by one night because I liked Savona and the B&B so much.

Good communication with the owners, due to late arrival. Beautiful, quiet location but narrow access road, not recommended for large cars. We needed a triple room and they had it there. Very clean. Since we had to take the ferry to Corsica early, unfortunately we couldn't have breakfast, but I can imagine it would be very nice with the great sea view. All in all, a positive experience.

We highly recommend this establishment located on the hills of Savona. The owners are charming, available, and attentive to their guests. A real delight this breakfast, abundant and varied, served on the terrace with a magnificent view of Savona and the sea. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. An additional asset is the kitchen made available by the owners. True essence of the bed and breakfast.

The optimal position on a hill with a sea view, the silence, the large green spaces with terraces shaded by olive trees alternating with fruit trees, the exquisite cordiality and availability of Mrs. Laura, Lucia, and Davide, make it an ideal place to forget the city noise and pamper yourself, at least for a while.\n\nThis place is the result of the love of the managers who dedicate themselves diligently to the care of the entire structure.\n\nI will definitely come back.\n\nJust like me, my little cat was also very well received.\n\nSissi also thanks for the kibbles and bowls.

We were guests during the weekend of 21/22 April. Beautiful, characteristic and special place, with a view of the sea and a stone's throw from Savona. The hostesses were very hospitable and kind, welcoming us with great warmth.\n\nAbundant breakfast on the terrace with the splendid sea view.

We stayed for the Easter weekend and what can I say? Everything was beautiful! The owners are so lovely. The location is very characteristic, with a view of the sea and the city that is really nice! Clean and tidy rooms, as well as the common areas. And then, can you imagine the feeling of waking up in the morning, going down the stairs, entering the kitchen for breakfast and finding a table set full of everything? The owners were really very kind. We will definitely return to Il Giardino degli Ulivi.
