Description

Our Bed & Breakfast is recommended by the guide of the Italian Touring Club, as well as of Locande D'Italia, Slow Food Editore and the Michelin Guide.

It is located in the medieval village of Montale, in a typical Ligurian mansion from the early 16th century, It has recently been converted to a guest house, intended as a starting point for those who want to visit the valley of Levanto and the Cinque Terre.

We have 5 rooms with bathroom, TV, air conditioning and heating, each with views over the valley and furnished in traditional Ligurian style, a lounge with TV and a rich library, where you will find publications about Levanto, the Cinque Terre and Liguria.

Our guests are welcomed in the morning with a generous buffet breakfast in the cosy lounge, where we offer homemade cakes and jams, bread baked in a wood oven, the Ligurian focaccia, seasonal fruits and the typical pastries of Levanto.

I'm Cristina, the owner of this small Bed & Breakfast in Levanto. I run the pension since its opening in 2003 and am still enthusiastic about my work, like on the first day.

I try to pass to my guests all the time the love I have for my land, the value of this territory and its good food.

With my breakfast I serve up flavours accompanying me since my childhood: jam made with seasonal fruits, homemade cakes, pastries and the Ligurian focaccia.

I combined my passion for good food with the pleasure of giving hospitality and knowing people from all over the world. Thanks to them, I love this beautiful work every day a little more.

L'Antica Pieve is a recently restored mansion dating from the first half of the 16th century, in the medieval village of Montale, one of the 16 villages of the valley of Levanto.
The pension is easily reachable from the motorway, 10 minutes from the A12 exit Carrodano-Levanto, and is just 4 km from the centre of Levanto, from where trains, boats and hiking trails lead to the Cinque Terre National Park.

Cristina is fantastic and the room is very clean. The location is perfect for those who do not want the hustle and bustle of the city but is still a 5-minute drive away. The only drawback is that the rooms are not acoustically soundproofed and face the dining room, and the Wi-Fi does not work very well, but overall those are two small things you can overlook! Highly recommended.

It is a very beautiful guesthouse, everything very cozy and very clean. The free parking map for Levanto is worth its weight in gold. You can park at the train station and in certain streets of the town. The breakfast was delicious with great homemade cake. The hostess has many tips and takes her time. It was a successful stay.

Very typical hotel in a small village 5 minutes by car from Levanto, where you can take the train to reach the Cinque Terre in 15 minutes. The manager is very welcoming, provides all possible information (how to get to the Cinque Terre, the beaches, the good pizzerias!) and also a pass that allows you to park for free in Levanto, a huge time saver! Very clean hotel, and the breakfast is superb, with several homemade cakes, there is something for everyone's taste! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Super! Really nice room, very clean and spacious. But the real plus of this B&B is the owner Cristina, she was always very nice and she helped us in scheduling the activities for our 5 days staying depending on the weather, our energies and local celebrations. The place is not by the sea but in only a few minutes by car you get to the sea, to the station, etc. Warmly recommended.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week during Ferragosto in this cozy bed and breakfast managed by Mrs. Cristina, who is truly kind. The breakfast offers a selection of great products, from classics to local delicacies like bread, delicious jams, and homemade cakes, truly exquisite! We greatly appreciated the owner's availability, who immediately provided us with maps, possible itineraries, and train schedules upon our arrival, necessary to reach the Cinque Terre, and a fabulous pass that allows you to park your car in the center of Levanto, reachable in 10 minutes and the train station. Our room is very spacious and being both a bit obsessive about cleanliness, especially in this sad period, we really appreciated the attention to detail. We highly recommend the stay, hoping it will be as pleasant as ours! Chiara.

Chloé Meyer is a great host! We were very well received, the breakfast is perfect, very complete and includes local products and homemade cakes and jams made by Chloé herself. The room and bathroom were very good, clean and quite spacious. The free parking in front of the B&B and the parking card for Levanto are a real plus considering the apartment is only 5 minutes from Levanto. Chloé was a great help in indicating places and restaurants in the area. If we come back to Levanto, we will definitely stay with Chloé again! If we have to mention a negative point: the road that passes under the establishment and that can be heard a bit in the rooms.
