What guests say

Guests praise the property’s charm and cleanliness, along with the hosts’ warm welcome and helpful local recommendations. In the heart of Moneglia and close to both the sea and the train station, it is a convenient base for exploring the area and the Cinque Terre by rail. Breakfast is often described as generous, with local or homemade products. Some rooms have terraces, and the outdoor spaces are a welcome feature. A few guests note that trains can be heard in the evening and that the mattresses could be more comfortable.

Warm and friendly host (with children) and a very nicely appointed accommodation with lots of charm in the heart of Moneglia. Very good base for exploring the Cinque Terre and the surrounding area by public transport (usually by train). Almost directly on the sea and therefore great opportunities for swimming.

The property is very beautiful, but above all it is Elisabetta's hospitality and her staff that make this place welcoming and delightful, not to mention the breakfast, which is truly rich in delicious local products. In this place you feel at home. Excellent experience!

We stayed three nights at your property. We felt very comfortable despite the bad weather and not knowing the road to Moneglia. Everything else was truly excellent; the owner with her little dog Ugo and the young woman who helps her were very kind. We hope to come back soon! 😊 Laura and Rosalina.

Very nice accommodation, as described. Elisabetta, her daughter and a staff member were all very friendly and helpful. The mattresses could be a bit better; when you move, the whole bed wobbles. Trains also run until 23:50 that can be heard, but they did not bother us. We were very satisfied.

La Rocca Maison de Charme at Moneglia is not within the Cinque Terre, but that, in our opinion, is to its advantage. We had spent a few days within the Cinque Terre and the crowds there were horrendous. In contrast, the tranquility away from the hordes was bliss, and it is so easy to make day trips to the Cinque Terre and elsewhere on the frequent train service. We stayed in the Faro room, which has the advantage of a spacious terrace. Much of the produce provided at breakfast, which can be taken in the breakfast room or on the terrace, is homemade, and we watched some of the tasty morsels being made and baked. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent welcome: Elisabetta, her children, and the staff are fantastic. We stayed here a few years ago and returned with pleasure, finding the warm hospitality and professionalism we remembered. Great location. The outdoor area of the room is beautiful, very green. Also worth mentioning is the advantage of having parking adjacent to the B&B available. We will return.

Really a beautiful structure located in a strategic place, close to the historic center and the sea. Good and abundant food, careful cleaning and accommodation with all comforts. But a plus of the B&B is Mrs. Elisabetta and her children and all the staff always ready to give you directions on what to visit in Moneglia, about restaurants and beaches. She took care of picking us up at the station and bringing us back, booking the beach and restaurants, what can I say? Highly recommended!!

The structure is very well-kept and able to provide a lot of tranquility to those who use it. The Faro room has a large terrace that allows guests to have additional space ideal for relaxation. The breakfast is varied and complete. The jacuzzi in the garden is a super comfort.

The accommodation is a dream, the owners are very helpful and extremely friendly. You feel very comfortable there. The breakfast is lovingly prepared, and you get everything you wish for. The beach is not far away. The restaurant recommendations were also very good. We felt really comfortable and can really recommend the hotel.
