„La lanterna sopra il Moggia“ which rents private rooms is opened all the year round, and it is situated close to the sea and to the numerous trails of the valley around Levanto as well as of the National Park of the Cinque Terre. Due to this attractive position it is the perfect place for relaxing holidays on the beaches of the spry villages along the coast or active holidays with trekking and walks through breathtaking landscapes along the steep coasts and the suggestive atmosphere of characteristic and hospitable medieval villages of the valley around Levanto. Between vineyards, olive groves and chestnut trees you can taste the typical dishes from the sea and the land of the gastronomy of the region Liguria.
In the surroundings of Levanto there are numerous trekking trails with a total length of about 80 km. One of these trails starts about two hundred meters beyond the rooms. You will walk through towns and small villages which have been constructed between the hills, and which in the course of time have been restructured. As an alternative you can also walk along the trails of the National Park of the Cinque Terre. On these trails you can reach the Gulf of La Spezia and Portovenere.
The building offers tow big rooms with their own entrance and bathroom. It is situated close to Levanto’s center along the state road which leads towards the Cinque Terre. In about five minutes you will reach Levanto’s beaches by bicycle
