First of all the quality, genuineness and variety. Bread is home made, also cakes, biscuits, brioches, various delicious jams, sweet or salty pancakes. Several Ferrero products are available (Nutella etc). Coffee is prepared in the Italian Moka! A waid variety of tea!, barly, Nesqui (c) k (not only for children), milk and fruit juices. All kind of goods, when necessary, are bought in FAIRTRADE shops. Understand that this kind of breakfast has nothing to do with, f. ex. the small butter portions you may find at a hotel breakfast.

My wife, our little dog and I had a wonderful stay. Place immersed in greenery and total peace,yet close to the village of Loano and the beaches. Vittorio,the owner,welcomed us very well and accommodated our needs. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Excellent breakfast served in the garden under a pergola,with abundant,high-quality products;some items prepared by the host. Highly recommended.

For those looking for tranquility, simplicity, and genuineness, this is the ideal solution: - Away from the noise and "chaos" of the center, always ventilated enough that there is no need for air conditioning (which is available if needed), with Wi-Fi; - Abundant and excellent breakfast (sweet), served under the pergola in a garden with a view of the hills/mountains; - Spacious bathroom, shower tray; - Room with several surfaces for placing items and outlets, small desk, comfortable bed; - Very helpful and kind host.

Really good, go there if you like green and are willing to be a bit further away (10 minutes by car) from the sea. Excellent breakfast, availability and kindness of the manager and a villa surrounded by well-kept greenery. I would add a mirror on the other side of the road, so that when you exit the structure and enter the road, you can easily see if there are cars coming.

Wonderful place, a corner of paradise. Vittorio, the owner, is a wonderful person, a rarity unfortunately in danger of extinction. I recommend the structure to anyone, singles, families, couples, because it absolutely deserves it. I will definitely return.

A beautiful villa in the greenery, away from the chaos, five minutes from the center and the sea. Waking up to the sound of the plants is a nice experience. The breakfast is abundant. Mr. Vittorio, a cordial, kind, and available person, has a lovely white dog that loves cuddles and watches while breakfast is being served. I will definitely return.

We stayed at 'La Casa dei Gelsi' for three days... what can I say... a little wonder! The spacious Sole room with private bathroom overlooks the courtyard and breakfast was served under a gazebo surrounded by plants, flowers, and nature! We had the opportunity to bring our dog who also enjoyed the private garden! Highly recommended! We will definitely be back, thank you so much for everything!

Vittorio offers a nice little apartment near the center of Loano (about 20 minutes walk). Vittorio is very concerned about the well-being of his guests and offers a rich breakfast. The apartment is limitedly wheelchair accessible (suitable for an active wheelchair user, but has a low threshold at the entrance and the shower is not actually wheelchair accessible: no handles and seat). My wheelchair is about 58 cm wide.

The structure is very quiet, as it is immersed in the greenery, in an area that separates from the inhabited center, although it still remains part of it. Vittorio is very helpful throughout the stay. Very tasty and varied breakfast, although the toast was missing to be flavored with homemade jam.

To definitely return. We were guests at Villa Dei Gelsi... A location just a few dozen meters from the sea but once you enter the entrance driveway of the property you find yourself immersed in nature among olive trees, succulent plants, and other fruit trees, a place where tranquility and silence reign. Morning breakfast under a pergola of grapes, and a table laden with all imaginable delicacies starting from the delicious homemade jams. Mr. Vittorio, a wonderful person, pampered us and satisfied our every request. For the next trip to Loano, it will definitely be our accommodation destination. Ivan & Monica.

If you are looking for a relaxing place surrounded by greenery, I recommend it. Very clean and nothing is missing. There is no TV, but I didn't miss it. The manager is exceptionally kind. The breakfast is super abundant, served under a portico surrounded by a vine that has given its maximum fruits in this period. Delicious grapes. It's a pity I only stayed for 2 days, but I will definitely return.

Una recensione così negativa mi mancava, è la prima, mi abbasserà la media! L'aspetto che più ha disturbato l'ospite Pietro è la pulizia e soprattutto i ragni. Posso affermare che faccio le pulizie a ogni cambio di prenotazione e sicuramente non lascio ragnatele e insetti morti ma sicuramente Pietro ha ragione riguardo ai ragni e agli isetti vivi perché la mia casa-villetta è nel verde e in estate possono entrare dalle finestre aperte. Quindi è consigliabile a chi può essere disturbato da questo di rivolgersi a strutture in mezzo ai palazzi o nel centro storico. Riguardo al voto sulla colazione chi legge può guardare le altre recensioni,

I stayed at La Casa dei Gelsi with my boyfriend for 4 nights at the end of August and I couldn't be more satisfied! Vittorio is a splendid person, the ideal owner: helpful, discreet, quiet, and with a passion (and skill) for baking cakes! The location is outside the center, about a 15-minute walk from the seaside; to reach the property, you have to walk along a small road, not very busy but with everything you need (bars, pharmacy, supermarket, pizzeria, bakeries) and full of other structures and campsites. Once you arrive at the property, you will feel like you are in another world: quiet, cool, surrounded by greenery and... by a friendly cuddly cat and a shy dog! Brand new and very clean room and bathroom, with air conditioning and mosquito net above the bed. But the real highlight is the breakfast in the garden, consisting of fresh homemade bread, different cakes every day, and garden jams! Possibility to use the outdoor kitchen and/or barbecue and possibility to leave your luggage even after check-out. Long review, but this B&B deserves it.

Presence of outdoor games for children, small refrigerator without freezer with kitchen and barbecue in the courtyard available for 5 euros and 15 euros per day, a set of 3 large outdoor tables and benches, a cool shaded canopy from grape plants and a swing, presence of free WiFi. A beautiful garden for having breakfast outside, surrounded by mixed vegetation, sometimes barren but with many trees and flowers of various kinds; from the room on the first floor, you can enjoy a beautiful view. A bit far from the beach, but there is space for parking the car or you can get closer and leave it before reaching Via Aurelia. Rooms with shared bathroom and balcony, simple but tidy and clean. Rich breakfast with juice, milk, tea and coffee, homemade jams and bread, cookies, and natural slices. The manager is like an "old friend," you immediately feel comfortable, but without any pretense; he seems to be part of the nature of the place. Good impression, I would gladly return.

Mr. Vittorio is super helpful and kind, and he offered us a very abundant breakfast with homemade products, all in the garden under a gazebo. It's peaceful and cool to sleep, with a view of the mountains, and there is total freedom regarding the return time. The property is located 10-15 minutes walk from the center, so there is no traffic, and it's convenient if you arrive by train or if you want to leave the car and walk around.

The place is fascinating for those who love the countryside and the hills. The outdoor kitchen under the canopy, the lawn, and the terrace are the strong points. I do not recommend it for those with fine palates and who are not accustomed to outdoor living. There is no separation between the entrance of the manager's house and the rooms. The shared bathroom can be a problem if all three rooms are occupied. To go to the sea, you need to take the car. The manager is very courteous and discreet but did not issue an invoice.

Riguardo al rilascio della ricevuta vorrei rendere noto a chi non lo sa che i B&B come il mio, che non sono dei piccoli alberghi trasformati ma fatti nella propria abitazione, non hanno obbligo di rilascio di ricevuta perché non detentori di partita IVA. Questo però non vuole dire che non pagano le tasse perché gli ospiti sono registrati con segnalazione alla PS e all'Ufficio Provinciale del Turismo e i redditi vanno messi in dichiarazione e sommati agli altri personali per determinare l'aliquota.
