Description
The tourist village Ippotur is located in a century-old pine forest, 4 km from the sea, near the ancient village of Castelnuovo Magra in the province of La Spezia. The agritourism presents itself to visitors as a Renaissance court. It covers an area of ??140, 000 m2 on the "Hills of the Sun", which take their name from the privileged position at the foot of the Apuan Alps, from which the view extends from the Magra valley to Viareggio and beyond.
The prolonged exposure to sunlight has favored, over the centuries, ancient agricultural settlements and terraces for olive groves and vineyards. Today our pine forest (a protected area of ??archeological interest) still preserves the traces of those ancestral dwellings, along with a rich variety of flora and fauna.
The agritourism enjoys a unique geographical position: a strategic hub between Tuscany and Liguria, where within a radius of 30 km it is possible to visit tourist destinations of universal historical and landscape value. You can directly consult the "activities" that we propose to our customers.

Rooms are simple and adequately equipped for short stays, quiet location, affordable, check-in was possible despite late arrival (10:00 PM), as well as check-out. Some apartments are currently being renovated. Everything quite unproblematic. Unfortunately, I was a bit late to use the swimming pool, which looked really great. The associated restaurant also appeared very inviting. Gladly again, if we are nearby, perhaps with a bit more time. Beate and Thomas.

Hotel tailored for families, the rooms are very comfortable, the location is perfect for visiting the beauties of the area, the cuisine is abundant and excellent to find places like this.

The structure of the Ippotur Agriturismo is charming, nestled in the woods, however, the cottages can only be reached on foot, through an uphill and unmaintained road. The reception was "non-existent": they gave us the key and told us to go up and find our cottage. At night, there is a lack of lighting and everything seems uncared for.

We booked a short stay at Ippotur Agriturismo thinking that from the photos and some reviews we could have a good time. Unfortunately, our expectations were immediately contradicted: almost non-existent reception, the bungalow they placed us in was very small for a family of 4 people with a dog, definitely not suitable, not to mention the dilapidated 70s furniture and the spiders that inhabited the bathroom.\n\nFor us, who this year opted for a short stay during which we wanted to relax completely inside the Resort, we found the bar and restaurant absolutely poorly managed and not well stocked, with grumpy staff.\n\nAt 10 in the morning, there wasn't even a croissant left for breakfast. The restaurant inside has very few dish choices, only a fixed menu.\n\nFor a structure that is almost isolated among the Ligurian Tuscan countryside, it becomes problematic for those like us who wanted to use the car less.\n\nWe found ourselves having to choose every day where to have breakfast, where to have lunch, and where to have dinner to avoid being forced to settle for the little offered by the structure.\n\nNot to mention the road full of stones and potholes that you have to travel to reach the bungalows.\n\nNegative evaluation in everything, do not be deceived by the photos posted on various booking sites.

Very beautiful and well-maintained structure, the view from the rooms is spectacular and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, but it could be more varied and abundant. Overall, we were very pleased.

Very nice and cozy place, the medieval setting and atmosphere make you feel on vacation. Simple but functional and clean. Great view location. Excellent value for money. Restaurant with quality food, not particularly cheap but it's right for the quality of the food offered. The manager is fantastic, helpful and attentive. We will definitely come back.
