Il Vico di Genova has been recently refurbished and is located in central Genoa, few steps away from the major touristic attractions and well connected with the main means of transport. Il Vico di Genova is located in a characteristic Genoese “vico” (alley) and offers comfortable rooms in a modern contest and a quite area (despite being very central).

All rooms have ensuite bathroom, hairdryer, safe, fridge, coffee machine, free wifi. Guests can enjoy a common area where they can have relax.

Il Vico di Genoa is a new property, recently renovated, and equipped with all the amenities located in the city center in a strategic position close to the most interesting tourist sites.

In a few minutes you can reach:
- Porta Soprana, the home of Christopher Columbus and the Cloister of St. Andrew, Piazza de Ferrari on which the Palazzo Ducale, Via Garibaldi, where you will find Rolli palaces, Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Bianco, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the church of Jesus in Piazza Matteotti, the church of St. Matthew, the church of San Donato and the church of Sant'Agostino with its museum.
- the Expo area where you find the famous Aquarium of Genoa and the Galata Sea Museum.
- Via XX Settembre and Via Roma, where you will find the most elegant shopping stores in Genoa.

The location couldn’t be more central and provides you with a wide choice of bars, restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, where you can enjoy the many Genoese and Ligurian specialties.

The structure is close to the main square of the city, the room is very nice and clean, with a minibar and a private bathroom with a window. If I can give a piece of advice, having small towels as well, in addition to those for hands and those large ones for the shower, would have been useful. Mrs. Paola, who welcomed us, was very kind in providing us with advice and directions, including an excellent pastry shop where we could have breakfast (not included in our reservation). I absolutely recommend it!

My girlfriend and I had a really great time, the room and the private bathroom are comfortable, spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished. Fantastic location in the historical center, just a short walk from the metro, bus, and excellent restaurants. The owners are super helpful and kind, they meet the needs of the guests. Would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Il Vico Genova, the owners are truly two exquisite and helpful people for any need (they really knew how to guide us on what to visit, where to eat, everything…), really two lovely people! The location is perfect, you can really get anywhere even without taking the subway which is three minutes away from the B&B… we always walked… also in the surroundings there are many places to eat and important sites to visit. The cleanliness was truly impeccable, carried out every morning! We are really happy to have stayed here and to have met Paola and her husband! If we were to return to Genoa, we will definitely come here and we highly recommend it!

Ideally located to visit all of Genoa on foot. A stone's throw from Piazza de Ferrari and near a subway station. The room (blue) and the bathroom were very spacious, even more so than in the photos, very clean and functional. The 180 bed is very comfortable. And finally, Paola, the owner, who speaks French, is very friendly and accommodating. And above all, and this is the first time this has happened to us, she takes care, the day before your arrival, to send you a WhatsApp message with all the useful information to easily find the location of the b&b along with a map. We therefore recommend this establishment without hesitation and will gladly return if we come back to Genoa.

Paola was very accommodating and nice as a host. I stayed for a few days for an academic conference nearby, and there were no issues. The room was cleaned every day, and she lent me a plug-to-USB adapter initially when I realized I had forgotten one. There was a fridge and a fan in the room, both of which helped keep things quite comfortable, even without A/C (which is not very prevalent in Italy). Thank you!

The structure is located in the pedestrian center of Genoa and is impeccably clean. The furniture is new and modern. A perfect location for this B&B, on the East side of the old town, 5 minutes from the central square. All points of interest are close by on foot. My room and bathroom were spacious, very comfortable, in an impeccably clean condition. There is a very nice view of the city and the place is perfectly quiet, without any noise from cars or anything else. Paola, the manager, welcomed me very well and pointed out the points of interest in Genoa. I will return as soon as I can.

Very pleasant and functional accommodation. Ideally located for exploring Genoa, close to a metro station and bus stop for Boccadasse. Car parking is also possible not far from there. Lively neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, food services (small supermarket, greengrocer, etc.). Paola is very welcoming, caring, and attentive. She will make you feel comfortable and guide you on where to go and how, but also where not to go. I highly recommend.

We had a great time, we were two couples and the property only has two rooms, so the apartment was all ours. Mrs. Paola was very kind and gave us detailed information on how to tour the city. The B&B is centrally located, a stone's throw from Piazza De Ferraris, renovated and spotless. The only downside is that it doesn't have an elevator, so if you have heavy luggage it can be a bit tiring, but it's definitely worth the sacrifice to stay in the heart of the city and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful city and its alleys.

Recently renovated structure on the second floor without an elevator in the famous alleys of Genoa, a strategic location to visit the city. Impeccable cleanliness. The only flaw was the cold, probably the exceptionally low external temperature did not help, but the radiators were warm only a few hours a day during which the temperature was correct, as soon as they turned off it was cold, especially at night. We mentioned it to the manager who simply explained the thermostat operation. Recommended but in warmer periods.

We stayed one night at 'Il Vico Genova' at Paola's place, an apartment with two bedrooms each with its own private bathroom and a living area with small tables and armchairs. It is located in the heart of the historic center, in the alleys of Genova, on the second floor without an elevator, like all the houses in the carrugi. The rooms are spacious, larger than in the pictures, especially the blue one. The convenience of the area is excellent, just a stone's throw from the nightlife and all the services and places to visit, including the aquarium. At the same time, it is located in a very quiet alley, both during the day and at night. Paola is very attentive and kind, ready to respond to the customer's needs. The only downside is the cold in the house. The heating comes on at 6 pm, we went up to rest a bit at 4 pm and at 5 pm we went out because it was too cold (even for men, not just for us cold women). We returned at 7 pm and it was warm enough, but after dinner, back at 10:30 pm, cold again. In the morning at nine already cold. For the rest, I recommend it, maybe in warmer seasons. We didn't try the breakfast because it was suspended due to Covid.

We stayed for two nights in this very charming bed and breakfast: we were in the orange room and we had a great time, mainly thanks to the central location, a stone's throw from Piazza De Ferrari and the historic center. The room is spacious, equipped with all comforts, very clean, very quiet (no cars pass in Vico del Dragone); the owner was welcoming and provided us with a map with precise directions on what to see and where to eat (indeed we played it safe and enjoyed excellent local dishes). Even before returning home, we recommended the accommodation to two friends planning to visit Genoa. Thank you and we hope to return.

Clean structure, well located logistically and managed by kind and helpful owners. We were assigned the blue room: spacious, well organized, and with a large and equipped bathroom. The owners immediately provided us with a map of the city and information on monuments, restaurants, and typical places. On the day of departure, they allowed us to leave our luggage beyond the check-out time to complete the visit of the city freely. It is definitely a structure to recommend, but those who have problems climbing two flights of stairs on foot should be careful, because the B&B is inside a historic building obviously without an elevator.

I stayed with my family (we have two children aged 2 and 4) for two nights, from October 30th to November 1st. The owners are very kind and extremely helpful; as soon as we arrived, they explained a bit about the city and what can be seen and visited, also pointing out on the map the places where to eat. The room was truly spacious, welcoming, and clean. Fantastic breakfast! Competitive prices, for the location where the B&B is situated you can't ask for better. We had a great time, we will be back.

The owners are very welcoming and provide great advice on restaurants, parking, and sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast excellent with the famous focaccia, Genoese biscuits, croissants, cereals, fruit juices, and a great chocolate with thickness on demand. The bed and breakfast is ideally located near the Soprana gate. Great value for money for 3 people. Affordable parking for Genoa (15 euros per day) 5 minutes away. The perfect place for a pleasant stay.

The rooms are wonderful and spacious, tastefully furnished. The host, Paola, is a fantastic person, kind, friendly, and very nice; she made us feel at home right away by showing us all the activities available in Genoa and giving us a lot of useful advice. At the last moment during the most inflated weekend of the year, we look for a bed and breakfast in the center of Genoa, the only hotel rooms exceeded 350 euros, after a day in Recco in a barely decent three-star hotel at a high season price, we arrive at Il Vico and the owner Paola is already there. She had given us precious advice on parking via SMS and email and had reserved tickets for the aquarium for us so we wouldn't have to wait in line twice. Upon arrival, the room was very cute and the bathroom as big as the one at home (far from the small closet of the day before), the level is easily four stars (which we are used to) at the most, the bed comfortable with a new mattress and we slept three of us as we usually do when traveling with a very affectionate five-year-old. The location is in a strategic neighborhood, just outside the hustle and bustle but central enough that we reached the aquarium in 10 minutes or less with our five-year-old son. The breakfast was delicious with genuine artisanal products, and they even specially provided the child's favorite cookies. Furthermore, during our stay, the couple who owns the bed and breakfast helped us a lot with the best advice on what to do and how to move around with little time available. They truly deserve the best.

Giving 10 to this B&B does not do justice to the exceptional treatment that Ms. Paola reserved for me. Close to the subway and a short walk from the center, it is located in a very quiet area and has new, bright, and fragrant rooms. We spent the last weekend in Genoa for work reasons and our stay at Vico Genova undoubtedly contributed to making our stay more enjoyable. The B&B is in the city center: a few steps from Piazza De Ferrari and via XX September, it is located in a small street near Porta Soprana. It is fully renovated and the decor is of excellent taste: a skillful and cheerful mix of colors, with great attention to the smallest details. The property has just been renovated and is therefore in perfect condition. The breakfast is abundant with typical Genoese focaccia, croissants, bread, jam, and various juices. Mrs. Paola and her husband Max are very friendly and pleasant. They gave us several indications on how to move around and what to visit. A place where a careful attention to detail makes you immediately realize the maximum care dedicated to the comfort of the guest, who is welcomed in a "family" environment. Rooms tastefully furnished, bathrooms very clean and spacious. Everything is new! The breakfast is abundant and caters to all tastes. It is located in the heart of the Genoese nightlife but does not suffer from noise at all; on the contrary, it is very convenient to experience the various local spots nearby.
