Area Acquario
Piazza del Carmine (as well as its old quarter upstream) is often referred to as la petit Montmartre. I love her a lot especially since she was freed from motorcycles and cars.

With its premises, the creuze that descend, the colored houses, clothes hanging, its covered art nouveau market.

It's really delicious.

Well located which provides excellent value for money. The nearby Carrefour Express is a real plus. We even had a small space in a mini fridge. The only downside was that the water mixer in our shower was a bit temperamental and we had to learn to handle it.

We really enjoyed our days at Maurizio's place. He made sure we felt very welcome as guests, his tips were very valuable. The room was nice, the bathroom practical. Only downside: the scaffolding on the facade...unfortunately we couldn't use the balcony.

There are 2 very positive aspects of this property: the location and the owner Maurizio. That said, the room is also well arranged, there is ample space to move around, clean and with a small balcony to get some fresh air, which is nice. Very good value for money! Finally, a nice touch to leave a kettle and some snacks in the room. Absolutely recommended!

The location is very convenient, just steps away from the main streets and the port. Maurizio was really helpful, the room was beautiful, clean, and bright. The bathroom is private, clean, and complete with all necessities (hairdryer included), but outside the room. Maurizio also booked the garage for us to leave the car, very close to the apartment and with good rates (15€/day in our case, with a Fiat Punto). Highly recommended!

The apartment is 10 minutes away from Piazza Principe station and is therefore in the city center. The room is very spacious and pretty. There was everything we needed: water and juices in the fridge, kettle for coffee or tea, towels, hairdryer. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gave us all the necessary information for our stay.

Maurizio is a attentive and very helpful person, his B&B is very welcoming and clean, the location is easily reachable from Genova Piazza Principe station and is excellent for those who want to visit the aquarium and the historic center. Great place and relaxing atmosphere. Sensible and attentive manager (hard not to be a yoga teacher!). Very comfortable bed. We have been to Genoa many times and this is the best place we have slept in for many years. We recommend it to all travelers.
