Located 2 km away from Finalborgo - one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" - Angelo and Cristina welcome you and your four-legged friends in their ancient Saracen dwelling where you can fully indulge in relaxation, nature, and the sea, or embark on various outdoor activities.

Thanks to the climate, mountain biking in Finale Ligure is possible all year round on a dense network of stunning MTB trails suitable for all levels. These trails will take you through the Mediterranean scrub, narrow cobblestone passages, and ancient forests, revealing breathtaking panoramas and allowing you to gaze at the rock walls colored with the red hues of the sunset.

The B&B Il Pozzo e il Melograno is the ideal place for climbers, trekkers, trail runners, and surfers.

At the B&B, bikers will find a dedicated space/workshop to store their bicycles, a washing machine for technical and non-technical clothing, and a water point in the garden for equipment cleaning.

I'm Cristina, born and grown up in Rome but livig in Liguria since 1980.

For 15 years, I've been director of an International Youth Hostel where I above all managed booking and cooking: my Youth Hostel's been included in "the Top 10 youth hostels in Europe".

Cooking is my passion as well as Theater as director in the past and performer now.

I've been Chef in my restaurant, but unfortunately just 4 years, for health reasons.

8 years ago I decided to open my home to travellers and tourists to have the possibility to meet a lot of people and sometimes new friends.

The structure is welcoming and has a beautiful garden. The owners are kind and helpful and gave us excellent advice for our stay. The breakfast is delicious, well cared for in detail and of excellent quality. The only downside is the car entrance from the main road, the first stretch of the access road is steep and not particularly easy. We stayed with our dog who found the environment very pleasant. Definitely a great experience. Thanks to Cristina and Angelo.

Booked to spend a weekend by the sea, the B&B is very nice and quiet, the rooms are spacious and clean inside a Saracen dwelling. The owners welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. Near Finalborgo and a stone's throw from the most famous places on the Riviera dei Fiori. Ample free parking. Wifi throughout the property. Terraces, patio, and garden. I can only confirm what I had read in the other reviews. The managers are helpful and welcoming, available for any information and to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast (a rarity in Liguria) is great! Genuine products, many homemade. Cristina's cakes are a spectacle! Animals are welcomed with open arms. My German Shepherd adapted immediately to the new location. In short, a pleasant discovery this B&B. I hope to be able to return soon.

Beautiful experience, and excellent value for money. Very comfortable and clean room, we even found bathrobes in the bathroom, which hadn't happened to us for a long time. It is the second time that, with my partner, I stay in this structure, what to say, everything is perfect, I couldn't find even a small flaw. The welcome and the friendliness of the owners Cristina and Angelo is beautiful, the rooms are really well-kept and clean and the bathroom washed and disinfected every morning. Not to mention the breakfast, unique both in quantity but, above all, in quality, all homemade by the very skillful Cristina, from the cakes to the pies with organic jams, to the homemade bread with wholemeal flour and various seeds, to the yogurt always made by Cristina to which you can add her special jams like the last one we found with pomegranate, simply delicious, and, for those who also love savory breakfasts, there are high-quality cold cuts and cheeses available and, on the spot, Cristina prepares an egg that only she knows how to make so good. Oh, I forgot the smoothie with their organic fruit, after trying this breakfast it's hard to settle for the others you find around. Thank you Cristina and Angelo, it's always a pleasure to spend a few days in your company.

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast to visit the Agri-food Fair of Finalborgo and we had a great time. Very spacious room with private bathroom equipped with everything. Spacious and very comfortable bed, the most comfortable I have ever found in my travels. The owner Cristina is a really kind person, she gave us many ideas to visit the inland and where to find great restaurants. The breakfast she prepared for us was simply sumptuous, all produced by her very skilled hands. We were really good. The only note I can make concerns the access road which, being unpaved and very steep in the first part, should be fixed a little bit.

If you see a player by courage, altruism, and imagination, a Bed and Breakfast is seen by hospitality, availability, and breakfast. The managers Angelo and Cristina are indeed welcoming, available, and the breakfast was abundant ranging from sweet to savory, with cakes, jams, yogurt, and homemade bread by Mrs. Cristina. Non-self-produced products were still highlighted and of excellent quality. We recommend the fried egg or scrambled egg cooked on the spot by the always excellent Cristina. In general: it does not overlook the sea, but the location is strategic for those who want to tour the beaches, as well as for those who prefer the inland. The property is well-kept and the room that hosted us was clean and spacious. If we happen to stay in Finalese again, we will definitely return to the Bed and Breakfast 'Il Pozzo e il Melograno'.

I initially chose this Bed and Breakfast solely for its strategic location as I wanted to end my holidays with 2 must-do rides for Liguria MTB bikers, the descent from Melonio and the PS5 plus the entrance from the Nato base, spectacular. What a surprise to have met the manager, the very kind Cristina (excellent cook, and what rich and genuine breakfasts!), her husband Angelo, always ready to give advice on the trails, and the funny dog. I highly recommend it not only because it faithfully reflects what a Bed and Breakfast should offer (cordiality, friendliness, cleanliness, and availability) but also because it is aimed at all those who love MTB. A few meters from the Bed and Breakfast there is the shuttle stop that takes you to all the DH tracks, available upon a phone call from Cristina.

We had a great time. The Pozzo e il Melograno is a beautiful house in the middle of greenery, a quiet place. In the morning, you wake up to the chirping of the birds, and from the window, you see only greenery. There is a very nice and well-kept garden with a water basin with water lilies that open during the day, beautiful. It is about 10 minutes from the sea and close to the beautiful village of Finalborgo. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. A small but comfortable bedroom with everything you need, a very large and bright private bathroom with a bathtub and shower, clean with everything you need. Mrs. Cristina and Mr. Angelo are kind and friendly and gave us good advice. I recommend it and would go back tomorrow.

We found this little corner of paradise by pure chance. What can I say: magnificent. A splendid and welcoming house, a room tastefully furnished even in the details and very clean. I believe I have never slept so well. The bed was not comfortable but extremely comfortable. The breakfast served on the terrace was exceptional. Apart from the entrance on the little street, which is a bit difficult, you immediately immerse yourself in nature. If you are looking for tranquility but do not want to feel out of the world, this seems to be the right place. Mrs. Cristina pampers her guests (former restaurateur) and does it by tempting them with food. A very rich breakfast with fruits from their garden, cakes or focaccias, local cheeses, cured ham, eggs, and bacon. In short, there is something for everyone, but it remains a breakfast that, if you happen to have it late, you will not have lunch anymore. With the child, we had no problems; there was plenty of space. Overall rating 9. We will return.

Excellent structure, clean, quiet and panoramic. The room is spacious and welcoming. The strong point is the breakfast, personally prepared by the owner. Exquisite. Furthermore, the owners, Angelo and Cristina, are people who know how to treat guests with the utmost care. A structure that I highly recommend to everyone.
