This is more than just a guesthouse or a bed and breakfast: it's an old Genoese family home with a few extra touches. There's extra kindness, extra hospitality, extra breakfast, and.. an extra chromosome!
The connection to Genoa is very strong, from the traditional "mezzeri" used in all the rooms, to the locally-made furnishings, to the freshly-baked "fugassa" served for breakfast.
The property has three spacious rooms with private bathrooms, a small apartment with a fully-equipped kitchen, and a large common area where breakfast (including gluten-free options) is served and guests can relax. WIFI is available throughout the property.
To top it off, there's a wonderful rooftop garden with typical Genoese "fasce," equipped with tables and a barbecue, nestled among the old buildings.

A beautiful room in a special flat a short walk from the center of Genoa. The room was generously sized with free bottled water. It was air-conditioned and quiet. The service, including our breakfast, was excellent.

Our trip to Genoa was made even more special by staying at 'Il Giardino della Tartaruga'. From our arrival, we were greeted with the utmost in everything, from the professionalism of Gioele and the entire staff, to the attention to every need, to the friendliness of everyone! The apartment was truly comfortable, quiet as few places can be found, with everything we could need. The garden, where due to rain we could not have breakfast, is very beautiful! Cleanliness: we couldn't have asked for better. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Daniela, Enrica and the little ones Nina and Natalia thank you from the bottom of their hearts, we will definitely come back to visit you and hopefully for a longer stay. A big hug.

The room assigned to us, Porta Soprana, is divided into two areas: a small entrance room with a sofa bed, where the children slept, and the double room, very spacious, with high and frescoed ceilings. Simple furnishings and in excellent condition, just like the bathroom. The atmosphere is very familiar, the welcome from the staff was courteous and warm, we really felt at home! The location is also good, the port and the Aquarium area can be easily reached in about fifteen minutes. The breakfast is good and plentiful. If some more savory options could be added, it would be perfect. But this is a purely personal preference, which does not detract from the overall evaluation, which remains decidedly positive! If we return to Genoa, we will certainly come back to visit you! And congratulations on the employment inclusion initiative, more facilities like Il Giardino della Tartaruga are needed. Well done!

Brand new structure, rooms meticulously cared for. Impeccable cleanliness, also available bathroom products and hairdryer, as well as water in the fridge, both still and sparkling, herbal teas and kettle in the room. Strategic location, a stone's throw from the center and the main attractions. The aquarium is also 10 minutes away. Abundant breakfast and impeccable and caring service from the boys and the owner! I highly recommend it and would definitely come back. The only advice I would feel like giving to the managers is to inform that, in addition to the products listed in the sheet left in the room where you have to mark your orders, there is a buffet available to guests, with other food and drinks that do not appear on the list!

I chose to stay at this property primarily because of the wonderful inclusion project they are promoting. The B&B is located in an elegant building in the historic center, from here you can reach the main attractions of the city in a few minutes on foot. The rooms have been renovated and tastefully furnished. The cleanliness is meticulously taken care of. The breakfast, generous and varied, is also a moment of exchange and socialization with the fantastic boys of the cooperative who carry out their work in a precise and impeccable manner. There is also a beautiful rooftop garden available to customers. I highly recommend it to those visiting the city and hope that such a project can grow and spread throughout our country.

A beautiful well-located structure but above all a BIG THANK YOU to the entire staff who are very kind and competent. Rich breakfast and if the weather is nice, it can be enjoyed on a terrace under the trees, so pleasant. Family room with two large beds and a kitchenette, sufficient for a stay of a few days. Impeccable cleanliness. Nothing to complain about.

The bed and breakfast is located on a street accessible by car and with parking spaces along the street, but it is still just a few hundred meters from the historic center and the funicular or bus stops, so once parked, you can forget about the car for the entire stay.\nThe structure is brand new, furnished with simplicity, functionality, and elegance.\nIn the summer, it is pleasant to enjoy breakfast calmly in the garden-terrace, served with care by the young people who are part of the association's project.\nThe management of Silvia and Elisabetta has been very caring, helpful, and extremely kind.\nDefinitely a structure to recommend.
