The Casale has always been part of our family. It is located in the green heart of Liguria, on the first hills surrounding Sestri Levante, surrounded by olive trees and silence. This is where we grew up, where the roots of our history are rooted.
It all began in the late 19th century, when our great-grandfather, Gandolfo Giuseppe, worked these lands as a sharecropper. In 1902, he managed to purchase the farm and transformed it into a proper home, later bequeathing it to his son, our grandfather Gandolfo Eugenio. It was he, in the 1930s, who made it more comfortable: he added a wooden beamed roof and terracotta floors, features we carefully preserve today.
For decades, the Casale remained intact, cared for by Uncle Giuseppe until 2014. Since then, we have continued to maintain it. With love and respect for tradition, we have restored the house and the garden, and even restored the ancient olive oil mill, a symbol of our family's heritage.
With the help of father Gian Battista, we oversaw every phase of the work. Two intense years, dedicated to the restoration of a home that still exudes history and authentic Liguria, and which today welcomes those seeking a stay amidst nature, relaxation, and tradition in Sestri Levante.
