We are in the center of the Gulf of Poets, 6 km from the enchanting Portovenere, the pearl of the gulf, and strategically located for easy access to the Cinque Terre either by ferry from Portovenere or by train from La Spezia.
Do not miss the sunrise from the Apuan Alps that frame the picture that you can enjoy comfortably from your bed or from the balcony of your room.
In a typically Ligurian area, surrounded by olive trees distributed on the characteristic terraces, you will find yourself surrounded by the countryside and the sea.

Our newly renovated rooms have an independent entrance, equipped with balcony, TV, free WI-FI, safe, mini bar, walk-in closet, air conditioning and winter heating, kettle.
The bathroom with a large walk-in shower is also equipped with a bidet, hairdryer and complimentary olive oil products for personal hygiene.
The extreme attention and with each new arrival each room will be completely sanitized according to the national guidelines for the utmost care of our guests.
Taking care of a good rest is a fundamental requirement for us that has led us to choose first-rate beds and pillows.
In the garden there is a relaxation area with a solarium you can enjoy the view that will always be with you at any time of day.
The flavors of the territory
The Mediterranean-style breakfast will be served outdoors in our garden while maintaining the guidelines on social distancing.
In addition to a breakfast, we could organize tastings of typical local products or even romantic candlelit dinners with the reflections of the moon in the sea. (to be booked upon your arrival.

Ferries leave from Portovenere to the Cinque Terre, which seen from the sea are certainly the best approach to visit them.
To avoid looking for a parking space in Portovenere, we are available to provide a shuttle service.

Two lovely rooms overlooking the port of La Spezia. The place is at the junction between La Spezia and Porto Venere. Perfect. Rita and Antonio are wonderful and attentive hosts. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the view, with good coffee, pastries and fruit. A pleasure and recommended.

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Portovenere, Lerici, the 5 Lands, and other nearby areas. Rita is a welcoming person and made us feel at home in her clean establishment, surrounded by greenery with a sea view.

We stayed for two days at "Il Babele" (two adults and a boy) and found everything simply perfect! Mrs. Rita and her partner Antonio were very kind and always available, to the point that they picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for the visit to the Cinque Terre. One evening we also enjoyed the excellent dinner with typical Ligurian products prepared by Rita on the terrace with a magnificent view! Room, breakfast, location, services (the room is cleaned and tidied every day), Rita and Antonio.....in one word: FANTASTIC!

I spent two nights in this bed and breakfast. It is a nice structure with two rooms for guests. The room is very pleasant, equipped with everything you need and attention to detail. Warm, kind, smiling, and helpful couple. What kindness and patience. Attentive to every detail with you. For a first time, I am delighted and I recommend them with closed eyes. They make you feel comfortable and advise you on local visits. Despite the language barrier on my part, we managed to understand each other with many smiles. We really liked our stay. Rita and Antonio are lovely hosts. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was really good with a beautiful view! You definitely need a car to visit places that are nearby.

Everything was perfect, the view was astonishing, the owner was super nice and made us a delicious breakfast during our stay. The room was clean and very well equipped with attention to detail, well decorated as well. Made us want to come back next summer!

The room was very clean and spacious. There is parking space in front of your room so you can unload easily. The breakfast was delicious and as I have allergies, there were alternatives for me so I could have breakfast too. I would recommend this B&B.

Very quiet B&B, with a stunning view over the entire Gulf of Poets, especially in the evening. Accessible only by car, but by descending to the main road, there is ample parking to easily reach PortoVenere by bus. Externally simple but well-kept, inside the rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming, with various amenities (fridge and TV). Recently renovated with modern yet pleasant furniture. The same goes for the bathroom. Welcoming and helpful staff. In short, a pleasant surprise: I will come back!

Heartfelt thanks to Rita and Antonio. A wonderful and warm host couple! Spectacular view of the port and the Gulf of La Spezia. Highly recommended is the dinner on the beautiful terrace, which Rita prepares especially for her guests. Simple but clean and well-furnished room. La Spezia and also Portovenere reachable in about 15 minutes by car.

Rita and Francesco were excellent hosts. We felt very comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and equipped with everything you need. We received a great breakfast every day that you can enjoy on the terrace with a superb view. The location is between La Spezia and Porto Venere, which was perfect for us.
Would book again immediately!

We had a really good time. Charming location with a panoramic view, just a few minutes from Porto Venere and La Spezia. Rita and Antonio are delightful and very helpful people. Special breakfast with homemade delicacies as treats to enjoy.

We stayed at this property from 02 to 06 June, very beautiful rooms, detailed, fantastic view that can be enjoyed both from your own room and from the relaxation area. Breakfast served on the veranda, with jams and sweets made by the kind lady Rita. Very kind of the hosts to accompany us to the ferry to Porto Venere, we saved time and parking, really difficult in this region. All very familiar and pleasant, a pity for the whirlpool, which could not be used due to cold water. It would have been nice to immerse yourself after a day of "hard work". Highly recommended property. Sabrina.

Beautiful property with a view. The rooms are sea-themed and prepared with attention to detail. It was very clean. The couple who run it is also very polite and friendly. However, we expected a Jacuzzi bath as seen in the pics which was missing.

Small but very nice B&B, the rooms are cozy, the bed very comfortable (rarely have I found beds so comfortable around). The owners are very kind and helpful and it feels like staying among friends. The excellent and abundant breakfast satisfies every palate.

We had the pleasure of staying at Il Babele recently. The structure is located in a quiet area with a sea view. The room is extremely clean, furnished with care and taste, and equipped with a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom is meticulous in every detail. Abundant and rich breakfast served inside the structure that offers a lovely view. Both owners welcomed us with warmth and friendliness: Mrs. Rita's advice on places to visit and restaurants is precious. Highly recommended.

Quiet room with a spectacular view over La Spezia Harbour, very clean, air-conditioned, comfortable bed, lovely interior design, breakfast on the terrace was delicious with homemade jams and great coffee. Rita was very kind and considerate, we enjoyed our 3-night stay very much. Only downside is you have to drive to a restaurant.

The view from the property captivates you immediately and accompanies you throughout your stay. Convenient location to reach Portovenere both by bus and by boat. Breathtaking view. Family home with only two rooms offers a holiday immersed in relaxation. Location between La Spezia and Portovenere, excellent for reaching the Cinque Terre by boat or train. However, a car is necessary to get there. Very kind staff, like being at home.

If you want to feel at home with a view that (many) don't have at home, this is the B&B for you! Immersed in nature, you can hear the cicadas singing and smell the trees in the area. The rooms are brand new and tastefully furnished. But the highlight of this place is Rita and Antonio, it was a pleasure to meet you and have a chat with you! Thank you.

Property in a strategic location a few kilometers from Portovenere and Cadimare, where you can take the ferry to Portovenere or Palmaria Island. The b&b has a magnificent view of the Gulf of Poets. The rooms are well-furnished and clean. The hosts, Rita and Antonio, are welcoming and kind, always available. We had dinner by candlelight with a spectacular view and sunset. We will come back.

My husband and I spent a week in this wonderful place. The room has a stunning view over the Gulf of Poets and ensures a peaceful rest. Rita and Antonio were very kind and discreet, providing us with useful information to plan our outings. The breakfast is plentiful, with delicious homemade cakes and jams by Rita. Very pleasant discovery this small bed and breakfast overlooking the Gulf of Poets. Rita and Antonio are perfect hosts. Ideal place for physical and mental rest, rooms furnished with great taste and very comfortable beds. Also, Rita is an excellent cook while Antonio is a great 'roaster' of meat! We had a beautiful weekend! Stunning view with sunrise that you can enjoy from the room and the garden under a beautiful olive tree. Abundant breakfast with a special note to the homemade cakes by Rita. The managers Rita and Antonio are very kind and discreet but very attentive, they prepared an intimate dinner but worthy of a great restaurant, sea bream in foil by 'Antonio' exquisite. Next time he said he will prepare grilled meat in the wood oven, delicious semifreddo made by Rita... worth a second visit. Definitely to return to and recommend to those who want to spend a weekend in Portovenere and surroundings.

Imagine a fairytale weekend. A lovely sea view as soon as you wake up in the morning, as well as while enjoying breakfast with homemade cakes by the owner or while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. Now imagine newly renovated rooms with care and attention to detail, equipped with every comfort and impeccable cleanliness. Finally, add the greenery of an orchard that surrounds the entire structure and only the chirping of cicadas to keep you company at night.
