Description

Amidst olive trees and the scent of the sea, the small rural village of I Freschi has been carefully restored with great attention to the environment and landscape. It offers eight very cozy and original accommodations, which are characterized by sturdy exposed stone walls, wooden ceilings, enveloping pastel-colored atmospheres, and the restoration of old family furniture next to modern design elements.

The terraces among the roofs or the small exclusive gardens of the accommodations are "open-air rooms" furnished with tables and chairs, chaise lounges, and umbrellas, allowing guests to relax among the olive trees, just a stone's throw from the beaches of the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente.

The self-catering apartments have 2 to 4 beds, all equipped with a well-equipped kitchen, wifi internet connection, and private parking; there is also the possibility of a private beach under agreement.

I Freschi is located 4 km from the sea: with bikes available, guests can go on excursions to discover historic stone villages or the finest local food and wine productions in the hinterland, or reach the most beautiful beaches of the Riviera and discover stretches of unspoiled coastline along the Cycle-Pedestrian Track.

My name is Rosanna and I manage the apartments of I Freschi with the help of Diego (husband), Federico (son) who runs the "Bassamarea" beach in the summer where our guests are welcomed with facilities and pampering, and Tommaso (nephew) who is present during school holidays.

You will be greeted with attention to detail and the atmosphere of the accommodations of I Freschi. We will suggest special itineraries to help you discover our most authentic Liguria, made up of valleys and villages built with spontaneous architecture, enchanting landscapes nestled between hills and sea, secluded beaches and coves, the Liguria of events (music, theatre, sports) and local products with unique flavors and fragrances.

Located on a hill, 4 km away from the sea, I Freschi can be reached via the A10 Genova-Ventimiglia highway toll, which is 2 km away. Imperia is 10 km away, Alassio is 15 km away, Sanremo and Finale Ligure are 35 km away, Nice is 90 km away, and Genoa is 100 km away. The nearby towns of Cervo and Diano Marina can be reached by bike in just 5/10 minutes. There are many activities available such as sailing, boating, fishing, whale watching, guided hiking and mountain biking, horseback riding, nature trails, and food and wine tours. There is also a cycle-pedestrian path that runs along the sea for about 40 km from San Lorenzo al Mare to Ospedaletti. Throughout the year, the Riviera is full of music and theater performances, as well as various other events such as Vele d'Epoca, Olioliva, PercFest, and more.

Hello, beautiful place in the middle of olive trees, very quiet, 7 minutes from the seaside by car. Very very clean and functional apartment, with small terraces to relax everywhere. Fantastic welcome with a lovely little gift at the end of the stay. We will definitely come back 😉

We spent a wonderful Halloween weekend in this property. We were two families and the solution of having one apartment above and the other below turned out to be perfect because it allowed us to have mutual autonomy and intimacy while also being able to eat and spend pleasant moments together. The outdoor space is very beautiful, immersed in the greenery of the olive trees and a large variety of Mediterranean plants, with many small private corners. Both the outdoor space and the apartments are designed and furnished with taste, with design and antique pieces, all well cared for but also very functional. The kitchen is well equipped and the cleanliness is impeccable. Last (but never least!) the kindness and availability of the owners and Mrs. Adriana! A place definitely to recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this very charming bed and breakfast. The apartment "I Freschi" was very well equipped and furnished with a lot of love for the details. It is located on the hillside just a 5 minutes drive outside San Bartolomeo al Mare.
