Hotel Marina

This hotel is probably the best kept Seder of Cirque Terra… it’s is very charming, the front desk help was top notch and the access to everything got the job done. We were so lucky to book this and we’ll def book again if/when we come back to the area.

It was probably the most beautiful stay of the whole vacation. The staff is incredibly warm and courteous. We had a great room with balcony and there is a lot of love in the hotel. I would especially like to thank the hosts for their great helpfulness and warm manner. I recommend this great hotel to everyone. Greetings from Hamburg.

Room was a bit small but served our purpose. Excellent service and friendly host, enjoyed the pesto tasting with wine and had an excellent meal at their restaurant. Appreciated free luggage transport to the station and the bread for the journey. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay here in early April; the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the grounds/room were perfect for me. The room was large, comfortable, clean and relatively modern - I had a great night's sleep! I especially loved having breakfast under the lemon trees each morning. Speaking of the breakfast, it was amazing! There was a large spread of everything you could have asked for, including a made-to-order omelette and crepe bar. One thing to point out - the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Not a big deal at all (and you can easily get a taxi if you have too much luggage), but worth pointing out so you can plan accordingly. The train is super easy to navigate, so you can get from town to town in the Cinque Terre. Although Monterosso is at the far end of the Cinque Terre, it was still convenient to get around.

We spent two weeks traveling between Italy and Germany, and this was by far, without a doubt, or favorite place we stayed. It was the epitome of Italy- such an adorable, friendly place to stay with truly amazing food (breakfast was beyond my wildest dreams delicious, all in a scenic garden). In addition, the rooms were lovely, AC worked well, and the location was great. There are very few places you can stay in cinque terre that have minimal stairs to get to and/or within, but this is one of them. Other than 2-3 steps at the entrance, you can get there from the train station without any additional steps and there’s an elevator inside (except for the top floor) so getting luggage in wasn’t an issue at all. I really loved this place and have raved about it to everyone I know, I only hope I can return for another trip again!

Do yourself a favour and stay here if going to Monterosso. It's a family owned hotel with family service but has been modernised. The rooms are a little small but given the location you won't spend much time there. They have all that is needed however, the air conditioning is great, they are super clean and there is a lift etc. What sets this place apart is the extras you get. The crepes and omelettes for breakfast on the lemon terrace are outstanding, the free pasta and wine tasting at lunch at their restaurant a nice extra and the drinks on the terrace in the evening a great way to meet fellow travellers. The location is awesome in the middle of the old town. The staff are all very friendly and can't do enough to help you and Marina herself goes out of her way to be helpful. If I ever go back to this beautiful area, this is the place I will stay.

Wonderful hotel! Perfect location - Far enough out that it’s quiet but a 30second walk to the shops and restaurants. Host and staff are amazing! So kind and can’t do enough for you. Beautiful rooms, nice and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was brilliant with freshly made omelettes or crepes to order. 10/10 can’t recommended this hotel enough.

This is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy Cinque Terre. The Host is 10/10 with excellent service, a beautiful property and warm welcome. We walked up the hill to be greeted by complimentary wine and afternoon tea in the vineyard and received excellent hospitality throughout our week in Monterosso. It is an excellent location for travellers with the peace and tranquillity to relax in the winery at the end of each days touring. A short walk down the hill and you are in the heart of Monterosso with a large number of excellent Italian restaurants for dinner each evening. We would highly recommend this delightful place and hope to return there again some day.

Unbelievable stay. So warm and welcoming. The owners are amazing. The food and offerings of wine and drinks never ended! I don’t know how they make any money given what they happily offer you. I have stayed in the Cinque Terre before but I will always choose Hotel Marina from now on. Thank you to our gracious hosts who made us feel more like friends than travellers. Ciao and grazie mille.

We recently stayed here during a trip to Italy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with enquiries and recommended things to see and arranging a taxi for us when we were leaving. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious and had a cute little balcony. Beds were comfy and the room was light and airy. The rooftop lemon garden was a beautiful location for breakfast and the staff at breakfast were always friendly, welcoming and cheerful. The staff would prepare eggs whichever you liked and there was a vast array of fresh ingredients if you wanted an omelette or if you fancied something sweet, crepes cooked with whatever filling you liked. The cakes and pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt so were also delicious. One morning it was raining and the chef grabbed a market umbrella to shelter us from the rain whilst walking along the path to the rooftop garden. We were really overwhelmed by him going to such great lengths to look after us. It was a lovely experience and we felt really welcome. It's in a lovely location set just back from the main square, with some beautiful views. Their customer service was excellent and the staff are to be commended.

Tucked in a quiet side street in Monterosso, this was the perfect spot for us. Literally meters away from Old Town shops and dining but quiet during the night. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was an excellent experience including made-to-order omlettes and crepes. We wish we could have stayed longer in Monterosso. Only issue with the hotel was wifi connection in the rooms. It was excellent in the lobby. An added bonus was the complimentary pesto tasting just down the street. We will return!

Très satisfaits de cette location: propre, service régulier, silencieux, petit-déjeuner savoureux et copieux dans un cadre agréable (les citronniers). Accueil toujours avenant, proximité du centre du village.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel: très belle chambre, propre, personnel très gentil et à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement merveilleux: cadre romantique sous les citronniers, crêpes généreuses et smoothie succulent! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Très bien dans l'ensemble. Malgré quelques voisines très très bruyantes. Accueil sympathique, à refaire de par sa position et sa facilité d'accès.

Accueil au top ! Marina et son mari sont charmants et font tout ce qùils peuvent pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible. Lès chambres sont parfaites et le petit dejeuner aussi. Vivier les crêpes bien chaudes et lès omelettes. Le jeune homme à la réception et qui parle français est également tres sympathique. Nous recommandons très fortement cet hotel. Le jardin des citrons est un moment de calme et de repos qui est très appréciable.

Der vorab Kontakt war super. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war super schön. Alle waren immer freundlich und nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück im Dachgarten unter Zitronenbäumen einfach herrlich (auch bei 6 Grad).

Hotel splendido in una posizione strategica. Colazione fantastica, top!

L'hotel è carino, comodo e pulito, con servizi aggiuntivi molto utili come acqua, teli da mare e doccia disponibile dopo il check-out. La posizione è comoda, in centro a Monterosso. La colazione è buona. Da ritornarci e da consigliare.

Albergo molto carino, pulito, piuttosto economico, personale molto gentile e disponibile (specialmente alla reception!). Meno riuscito il servizio di colazione alla carta, con tempi di attesa troppo lunghi. Nel complesso un'esperienza molto positiva.

Personale molto gentile, professionale e cordiale. Camere in stile shabby chic pulite, luminose e funzionali. Colazione, servita nella deliziosa limonaia, molto buona, ben presentata e con grande scelta. Posizione ottima in una zona tranquilla. Convenzione con un ristorante molto vicino in cui abbiamo cenato molto bene. Molte attività diverse organizzate dalla struttura (noi abbiamo optato per la gita in canoa con guida e aperitivo a base di prosecco e bruschette di pesto artigianale). Molto apprezzato il dispenser di acqua fredda e a temperatura ambiente disponibile per tutti gli ospiti al lato della reception. Il soggiorno è stato decisamente positivo e rilassante. Hotel super consigliato!

Eccellente posizione. Pulitissimo. Bagno un po' piccolo ma con doccia ottima. Colazione super, adatta anche a vegani. Staff gentilissimo. Il plus sono i servizi aggiuntivi: colazione straordinaria (introvabile anche in hotel con più stelle), dotazione di teli e borsa mare, ombrellone per spiaggia libera, pranzo gratuito “pesto taste” al ristorante da Eraldo, possibilità di doccia prima della partenza (su richiesta nolo asciugamani).

Ho trascorso cinque giorni, con la mia ragazza, in questa struttura, che abbiamo trovato grazie a questo sito internet: è stata una gran fortuna! Innanzitutto, rapporto qualità/prezzo veramente ottimo. La stanza era effettivamente un po' piccolina, ma eravamo stati avvertiti e soprattutto non ha costituito affatto un problema per noi: la camera è comunque ben rifinita, esteticamente bella ed è dotata di tutto il necessario (aria condizionata, frigorifero, molti ripiani dove appoggiare le cose - anche nel bagno - e persino una borsa da mare con dentro due teli da mare, davvero utili). Degna di nota anche l'accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale: a cominciare dalla proprietaria, Marina, e di suo marito, Eraldo, per finire con Albert, il ragazzo della reception, e le ragazze addette alla colazione. Tutti disponibilissimi, pronti a darci consigli e a rispondere in modo esauriente a tutte le nostre domande. Ci siamo trovati molto bene a livello umano, tanto da aver l'impressione di esserci quasi affezionati. Ma il punto forte è la colazione: tutte le mattina l'idea di andare a mangiare in quel giardino in mezzo al verde imbandito di tutto quel ben di Dio mi faceva scattare dal letto. Dire che è abbondante è dire poco: tantissimi dolci, crostate, torte, ma anche frutta, yogurt, tigelline (che condivo sempre con stracchino e prosciutto cotto), cornetti (da condire con varie confetture o nutella), possibilità di farsi preparare sul momento omelettes o crepes ripiene. In più succhi di frutta, e altre bevande reperibili tramite la apposita macchina.

Sono stata con un'amica due giorni a Monterosso e ci siamo trovate benissimo! Hotel carino e confortevole e il personale è disponibile e molto gentile!

Posto davvero molto carino e in una posizione ottimale. La colazione nella limonaia è molto piacevole e rilassante. Il personale è molto gentile. Consigliato per una fuga romantica.

Hotel piccolino e molto carino a pochi passi dal mare e situato al centro di Monterosso vecchia. Staff disponibile e gentile, suggerisco di andare a cena nel loro ristorante poco distante dall'hotel, una vera delizia.

Albergo in ottima posizione, stanze pulite e confortevoli, il personale è davvero disponibile in tutto dalla proprietaria al ragazzo della reception veramente simpatico, se dovessi tornare alle 5 terre sicuramente sceglierò ancora questo hotel.
