Description

Our Bed & Breakfast is located in Toirano (SV), ligurian village of two thousands people, three kms far from the Riviera seaside. If you will come to visit us you will have the chance of seeing the historical centre of the village of the XI century, the famous caves, visited by many people every year; the Ethnographic Museum, with its many areas about local life, tradition and habits of hystorical importance; the “Palazzo del Marchese”, old palace with a greenpark, where the ancient family of Marchesi del Carretto used to live.

The owners of the palace will provide the welcome guests with two bedrooms and two private bathrooms, two diningrooms to get breakfast all room with air conditioned and a full equipped great terrace will be available during the summer.

Valuable bedsheets and hand made bath towels will be provided by owners and, for breakfast, the table sheets will be hand made, old manufactured as well.

Breakfast will be international style, with typical local food, available from 8. 00am to 10am.

The check-in can be arranged with the guests as convenient, the check-out is 11am. Luggage deposit is available.

We are a family who enjoy living in a relaxing environment, full of colors, flowers, fragrances and taking great care of the spaces and furnishings of our particular and ancient house. We also love animals very much, we have a cat and some koi carp in our garden pond and we also welcome those who accompany the people who stop by us. We take great care of our guests, trying to make them feel comfortable and meeting their needs with a constant but at the same time very discreet presence.

We love our territory and the many things it offers, such as the sea, the mountains, trekking, climbing, bike rides, tennis and much more in that particular landscape that the Ligurian hinterland offers.

We have been offering hospitality with a smile for 10 years and we hope to continue doing so with an open mind and curiosity to learn about new cultures and ways of living that our many occasional tourists or those we happily greet every year give us.

Toirano is 40 kms far from Savona. Reacheable by motorway, exit of Borghetto S.S. After that you have to take the county road for another 3 Kms. Our B&B is found in the istorical centre of the village and even if car transit is forbidden for non-resident vehicles but it's possible to arrive in front of the building and to discharge the luggage.
We are to 3 km from the sea that turns out therefore raggiungibile easy.

Very pleasant place in a historic house in the center of the village. We had a very comfortable and well-equipped room. The owner is very kind. The breakfast was abundant and of good quality. We stayed for only one night, but if we return to the area we will definitely come back. Recommended.

We were welcomed by the smile of Mrs. Cecilia, the owner of the property. She told us the story of the house, which is located in an ancient palace from the sixteenth century, a house where Cecilia lives with her family. They decided to proceed with meticulous conservative restoration, achieving an excellent result where old and new meet, creating an elegant, comfortable, and welcoming environment, right in the center of Toirano, a village in Liguria, just a few kilometers from the sea. We enjoyed two days of absolute relaxation. In the room, we found water and other cold drinks in the minibar, free of charge. Comfortable bed and a cozy bathroom. In one of the lounges of the property, we had herbal teas, alcoholic beverages, and small sweets available. Breakfast is usually served in a beautiful garden during the summer, but a strong wind that day prevented us from doing so. Breakfast was therefore inside the house, in a room adorned with perfectly restored original wallpaper, just like the ancient volumes inside a bookshelf created from a niche leading to another room. We recommend the B&B of Mrs. Cecilia, whom we thank for the warm welcome we received.

Fabulous experience. The room with 4 beds is located in a historic building, beautifully maintained, overlooking a beautiful square in the center of the ancient village of Toirano. Cecilia is a very kind, welcoming, friendly, and helpful host. The breakfast is very rich and genuine. We will definitely come back for the next Gumbi festival. Thank you!

Cecilia was an amazing hostess, and the property is gorgeous. This was our favorite place that we have ever stayed. The location was perfect, right on the square, but still quiet enough to fall asleep at night. I would love to stay again in the future.

My wife and I stayed in this property located in the heart of Toirano in a pedestrian area. The medieval house is for true enthusiasts, but also for those who want to take an unusual dive into the intimate history of the village. The beauty, the silence at night, the cleanliness, and the scents were a source of pleasant relaxation. In the morning, the abundant and well-prepared breakfast, served directly by the reserved yet attentive lady of the house, completed the pleasure of our stay. Again, compliments, we highly recommend it to lovers of beauty.
