Description

Poiolo Hamlet: a small village in Liguria nestled among olive trees and mimosas, perched on a hill overlooking the Gulf of San Bartolomeo al Mare.

The apartments, restored from old farmhouses, preserve the rustic and genuine atmosphere of times gone by. Guests can relax in a welcoming garden and enjoy the view on comfortable loungers in the shade of mimosas and citrus trees. The green area is equipped with amenities such as a barbecue, kitchen, reading room, toilet, and laundry.

Poiolo's strategic location allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of the village and serves as a starting point for numerous hiking and cycling excursions to discover the rustic scents and picturesque corners of Liguria.

The sea, just 1,150 meters away, can be easily reached on foot or by car, and during the summer months, a free beach shuttle bus is available. The variety of the coastline offers a wide choice of sandy or rocky beaches.

Poiolo's apartments are a perfect destination for those who appreciate a slow-living stay.

Very bad, very bad, very bad. On arrival they asked for €50 for cleaning without providing a receipt and in cash. The house was dirty. Never again.

Per comodità del cliente il check-in avviene direttamente nell'appartamento come tutte le operazine collegate ad esso, compreso il pagamento del saldo del soggiorno e del costo di pulizia come è chiramamente indicato nelle condizioni di prenotazione. Al rientro in ufficio per la notifica alla Questura delle presenze concludo anche le operazioni fiscali, quindi se mi avesse chiesto sucessivamente lo scontrino emesso glielo avrei consegnato. Il voto insufficiente riguardante la pulizia non mi sembra onesto, le pulizie sono un nostro punto di forza, come è evidente nelle altre recensioni.

We had a wonderful stay with Lisa in San Bartolomeo and really enjoyed our holiday there. The accommodation has an incredible amount of charm and personality. It is not an interchangeable holiday apartment, but a special place with history. For us the house felt like the old parsonage right by the church: narrow, winding, spread over several floors and full of atmosphere. Especially the roof terrace with the dreamy view over San Bartolomeo to the Ligurian coast was simply fantastic. The apartment is lovingly furnished and you can tell that a lot of heart has gone into it. We felt at home quickly and Lisa was a very warm and pleasant host. A few small things could, in our view, still be optimized to make the experience really perfect. The kitchen equipment is rather basic and very limited; it is absolutely sufficient for very simple meals, but more extensive cooking is somewhat difficult. A few basics such as salt, pepper or oil would also have made the start easier. In addition the shower head was unfortunately very heavily limescaled and the seal on the shower door was slightly damaged. In the lower sleeping area we would have liked warmer blankets for the season, as only a sheet was provided there. We were able to help ourselves well with additional wool blankets, but a proper duvet would have been more comfortable. In addition there were some ants in the apartment; real bait traps would probably help better in the long run than spray alone. All of this, however, was not for us a serious problem and we still enjoyed our stay very much. Rather we see these as small details that can be easily improved. Overall the accommodation is truly something special: wonderful location, lots of character, great atmosphere and a very lovely host. For us it is definitely a place we would gladly return to.

Apprezzo molto le critiche costruttive che sicuramente prenderò in considerazione! iniziando dal piumino anche per i letti singoli e sicuramente cambio il doccino e controllo le guarnizioni della doccia immediatamente! Purtroppo per una questione di HACCP non è permesso lasciare negli appartamenti generi alimentari aperti, anche se in contenitori chiusi... Le cucine degli appartamenti in effetti sono attrezzate per poter preparare semplici piatti, ma sto valutando di aggiungere un mixer... Dietro tuo suggerimento ho messo delle esche per combattere le formiche che stanno già facendo effetto. Se vorrete ritornare vi aspetto moltoi volentieri!

We had a wonderful stay in the Da Ciletta apartment and enjoyed it very much. The garden is super nice and the pergola outside with the kitchen was perfect for cooking dinner with our friends who were staying there at the same time in another apartment. Lisa is a very kind and helpful person; she was always there instantly when we had a request. We are always happy to go there again!

We came by train to Diano Marina and took a taxi to the apartment (5 km). Alternatively, you can go to Imperia by train and take the public bus to San Bartolomeo. The apartment is nice, stylish and well equipped, located on a hill with a very good view of the sea. It has a kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a great garden with trees, grass and flowers, a space to relax or for kids to play, sunbeds and an area to eat and cook outside. Tasty local vegetables and fruits are a 5-minute walk away (Tuesdays and Saturdays 09:00–12:00, Via Cesare Battisti 17). The beach is 1.5 km away, reachable on foot or by bicycle. There are shops, restaurants, a supermarket and gelaterias in San Bartolomeo. There is a new, great bicycle path along or close to the coast on an old disused railway line, suitable for walking, roller skating and similar activities, with no cars. The host is very friendly. We will come again.

We had a good stay. The host responded promptly upon our arrival and gave us useful directions. The reserved parking was very convenient. The garden available to guests and the annex with a kitchen, which allows you to have lunch surrounded by greenery, were also lovely. The area is quiet and five minutes from the seafront. One small drawback: the apartment lacked cleaning products.

We were a little disappointed with the apartment we chose, "Rosmarino", as it lacked natural light. The studio is located on the ground floor, with a characteristic vaulted structure similar to a cave, but the lighting is limited, with only small openings.

We spent a very pleasant weekend in the Ulivo apartment. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the house was well stocked and comfortable. The host was very helpful and kind. The apartment is close to the sea and many charming little towns. I recommend it and I would definitely come back!

The Ulivo accommodation was simply wonderful! The view was breathtaking – we could have spent hours just enjoying the scenery. The Lavanda accommodation in Da Ciletta fulfilled everything that was promised in the description. It is well suited for couples who want a separate living and sleeping area and are agile enough to climb a steep staircase to the bedroom. The apartment has a great romantic atmosphere and everything one needs is available. There is a nice garden at the accommodation and a garden kitchen. Unfortunately, we have to deduct some points for the constant noise from the nearby highway. Those who cannot switch off well will not be able to take a nap in the garden. The parking on the enclosed property of the accommodation is also great. Lisa, the host, was always easily reachable and immediately solved problems (a key broke during our stay). Beautiful structure, in a typical Ligurian village context. Convenient parking on the premises, if desired there is a free shuttle to go to the beach. All the services of an apartment. Heating not optimal, but this is a structure designed for summer.

We are two adults and spent ten days in a delightful apartment. With a clear conscience we can recommend this place. The apartment was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We stayed at the MIRTO Apartment. The apartment was very nice and lovingly furnished. The size is very comfortable for 2 people. The equipment was very good, nothing was missing. The seating area in front of the entrance under a pergola was very pleasant. The garden was very well maintained and the shared garden with winter garden incl. kitchenette, washing machine room and seating area including garden loungers were very pleasant. A parking lot with electronic door opener completed the amenities. The owner Lisa was very friendly and helpful. A good view of the sea from the garden. The beach is about 1.2 KM away. If you don't like pebble beaches, the sandy beaches in Andora or Diano Marina are very well served. A very recommendable accommodation, we would love to come back.

I stayed in the Mirto apartment, as a couple, and it was love at first sight: very intimate, well-kept, and clean. In the small village, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the place, but at the same time, you can find all the services within walking distance. Lisa was very kind and helpful in giving directions and advice.

I had a great time, the lady who manages the accommodations is very helpful, when we asked for a fan because it was very hot, she arrived with the fan after just ten minutes, at night we always slept with the window open without turning it on, the house has all the comforts, nothing to add, also the private parking space, which perhaps would be better to assign per apartment upon arrival, so that it remains the same throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

A pleasant discovery and definitely a place to come back to. Mrs. Lisa is helpful and very kind, and the house we stayed in was cozy, bright, and clean. I can't find even a small flaw, one can only speak well of it.

From the window of the Lavanda apartment you can enjoy a great sea view, reachable with a 20-minute walk. The place is very quiet and the common areas are very beautiful. Highly recommended. Professionalism and courtesy from the owner and manager. We will definitely come back.
