Description

Fontanavecchia rooms are menaged by annamaria and daughters, the room are located in the north of village, in a quite zone close to bank with atm, post office, bar for breakfast and laundry.

The rooms are from two minutes from the sea and don't have the famous vernazza's steps.

Rooms have been redone this year are large some have a balcony and all have private bath and for cold season we have heating.

Fontanavecchia zone are close to the see two minutes by walk but rightly faraway from the nightlife for quite dreams.

A territory that combines the nature of the trails with the crystal-clear waters of the 5 Terre National Park, Fontanavecchia rooms offer peaceful nights thanks to their location just a few minutes from the sea and nightlife.

The rooms are located at the beginning of the village, in the adjacent area you can find a breakfast bar, a bank, a post office, and a laundry facility. Unlike many others, we do not have any steps.

Lovely room with a great location, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and train station. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Anna Marie and her daughters were welcoming and kind. The room is modestly furnished compared to big chain hotels. The room met our needs with a ceiling fan, small refrigerator and shutters that you could close to keep out the early morning light. What set it over the top was the location. It is up the hill away from the busy train station and dock that are always bustling with day trippers. The stream outside was soothing and it was a joy to watch the mother duck and her babies. There is a wonderful restaurant, Pirate II, across the street that has fresh made pastries and quiche. I was traveling with my teenage daughter and felt very safe staying here!

The property is convenient to the train station, and the owner actually met us there, due to our late evening arrival. Although not in the center of town, it is a very short walk to restaurants and the harbor. The room was clean and comfortable, with the pleasant sound of the stream in the background when the window was open.

We enjoyed our stay at Camere Fontanavecchia in Vernazza. The room was clean and comfortable, and our host was kind and gracious. We were happy with our stay here. It was an easy walk into town and the station, but was quieter than in the old city center. The sound of the stream flowing beside the small balcony was a pleasant touch. Compared to our other accommodations in Riomaggiore and Vernazza at similar prices, the value was slightly less, as the other properties we booked provided breakfast and offered more of a view. The only thing we didn’t love was the problems with WiFi - inconsistent signal. I also had difficulty with the fragrance infusers, but Anna Marie was very understanding for my removing them. Great quiet location across from the laundry and ATM. Two minute walk from train. Two minute walk into down. Loved hearing the banking brook below the property. Good shower. Good bed.

I recommend this hotel to other people as the location is excellent (near the train station and the city center). They requested cash payment, which is fine, but they did not provide us with a receipt. That bothered me. I tried to contact them by phone and tried 3 different numbers, but it didn't work. Apart from that, the property is excellent.

Just a short uphill walk from the train station so that you can't hear the noisy trains at night. The room was very basic for 2 adults and a 2-year-old. They provided a comfortable crib and there was a terrace with a clothesline for drying clothes. The rooms overlook the "river" where a family of ducks gathered every day. The only downside were smokers hanging out at the front door and the constant stream of visitors to Vernazza passing by.

We loved staying in Annamaria's Camere Fontanavecchia. So close to the train station, so clean with many personal touches (wine glasses, a fan, personal balcony, slippers, etc.). Great location, lovely host (and daughter) and quiet, clean, charming room. Loved staying here!

The accommodation is overall very enjoyable. Upon our arrival, we were able to chat with Anna who provided us with lots of information about places to visit and restaurants. We also liked the IGN map made available to us to follow the good paths.

Bed and breakfast very well located, in a quiet area. Anna Maria is charming and very helpful. No breakfast on site but a bar nearby serving an excellent breakfast.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, quiet, well kept. The owner was concerned for our safety and comfort and even sent us a warning email about a weather alert! She welcomed us at the train station upon our LATE arrival. The room is in an excellent location - a short walk from the train station in Vernazza and overlooking a charming babbling brook. Would love to return to Fontanavecchia.
