Cà del Buio is the first Eco-B&B in Liguria to receive the Casa Clima Welcome certification. The CasaClima standard is an energy certification system based on a clear philosophy: to renovate and construct buildings with the aim of reducing management costs, minimizing human impacts, and contributing to environmental protection.
At Cà del Buio, you'll find outdoor sports right outside your room, caves and castles nearby, and Finalborgo is less than 10 minutes away. Finale Marina, known for its sandy beaches, is just a 15-minute drive, but for those who enjoy walking and a slower pace, the sea can also be reached by a little over an hour's hike or, why not, by bike.
The house is surrounded by an oak forest, terraced fields, and olive groves. From the windows of the rooms, you can see the greenery of the forest meeting the blue of the sea, topped by the azure sky.
The property features three double rooms within one of the oldest buildings in the area of Perti, a historic district of Finale Ligure. Dating back to the 1400s, it has been restored to its original beauty after a thorough architectural recovery process, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom; in the common area, there is a refrigerator, microfiltered water, and a kettle for tea and herbal infusions. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
You won't find traditional bathroom kits, but rather eco-friendly Shower Shampoo and Face and Hand Cleanser available in refillable dispensers. Each room is furnished with unique pieces, often made from wood, iron, stone tools, and materials recovered during recent restoration efforts, creatively reinterpreted by local artisans.
You can reach climbing cliffs by taking the path that runs alongside the house; the sea is just a 10-minute drive or bike ride away; you can explore medieval villages, Saracen hamlets, and ancient Maritime Republics; you can enjoy nature, which is the only thing you'll see and hear when looking out from your room’s windows. Breakfast is served on the terrace-solarium with fresh, local products sourced from nearby producers.

The area in which we find ourselves is rich in exceptional products. For our guests we prepare a breakfast based on 0 km products, purchased directly from local producers, certified organic products and specialties from regional Slow Food presidia.
Every morning we go to Finalborgo to pick up the brioche, bread and typical Ligurian focaccia from the town baker while they are still warm and fragrant.
The cakes and tarts are prepared by us, with simple, genuine and unrefined ingredients such as wholemeal flours, cane sugar and artisanal jams free of preservatives, thickeners and industrial colourings.
The buffet is available to guests and, if notified in advance, we can complete the offer with gluten-free and vegan items.

A wonderful discovery! I have always been a camper and this year I wanted to treat myself to the luxury of a few "comfortable" nights while still having the opportunity to stay in nature. It was beautiful to discover Cà del Buio, tailored for those who love the silence and tranquility that nature has to offer. The structure has been carefully renovated, is very clean, and provides guests with a space that includes a small fridge, a kettle with tea and herbal teas, and a microwave, which can be used independently. There is also a Bookcrossing point where one can take and/or leave a book. The breakfast is abundant, with fresh local products and homemade sweets from Rosa. Paolo's warm welcome truly makes one feel at home, and I hope Cà del Buio can remain a "gem" for those who, like me, wish to return to a special place away from the confusion and chaos of everyday life. We will definitely see each other again soon!

Agriturismo immersed in the greenery, completely renovated with parking available. The very kind owners welcomed us as if we had known each other for a long time, conveying true enthusiasm for their activity. The ancient structure has been completely renovated with extreme taste, maintaining the exterior and perfectly furnishing the rooms. Everything was spotless. Guests have access to books to read, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a kettle with tea and herbal teas. We were served an excellent breakfast outdoors with the freshest products. It is the ideal place to unwind and relax, away from the chaos and noise of the city, just the music of nature and the fresh air of the woods. It is about 15 minutes by car from Finale Ligure. Unfortunately, we only had one day available, but we plan to return.

This place is a dream. As soon as you arrive, you never want to leave. Both the structure and the location are truly beautiful: quiet, original, and rich in history. But everything is well maintained, spotless, and functional. Then of course, the concept related to Casa clima is truly a very interesting point in favor, and all the choices like B&B ECO are absolutely commendable from various points of view. The manager, Paolo, is a truly knowledgeable and kind person who really knows how to make you feel at home and part of this ambitious and admirable project. Certainly not a stay like the others, but much more special, in an oasis of peace. Absolutely worth mentioning is the homemade mandarin cake by Rosa, Paolo's partner. We really hope to come back soon!

A recently renovated dwelling immersed in the woods, with a charming glimpse of the sea. Surrounded only by the sounds of nature and managed by the very kind Paolo, who warmly welcomed, guided, and pampered us during our short but very pleasant stay. Beautiful structure in Perti, in the mountainous area of Finale Ligure. Everything has been studied in detail and the managers have been very kind and generous with great advice about the area. The area is also beautiful, immersed in nature and in absolute peace.

Kindness, cleanliness, relaxation, and peace. Paolo and Rosa are truly very friendly, helpful, and nice. Breakfast with tips and advice combined with good sweet and savory foods from local producers. Cleanliness of all rooms and outdoors, recently renovated, the property presents itself very well (as per the website). Everything is created to help you relax and disconnect. Wonderful environment, just 10 minutes from Finalborgo and 15 from the sea, you immerse yourself in a quiet and relaxing place. Away from everything and everyone. Highly recommended!
