Description

The Bed & Breakfast U Sente awaits you in Genoa, just a few meters from the famous "caruggi" in a quiet and peaceful area, with no vehicular passage.

The location is particularly strategic: all the points of tourist interest in the city center (Aquarium, Cathedral, Via Garibaldi, Old Port...) are easily reached on foot; the proximity to bus stops, funiculars and elevators make it easy to reach particularly suggestive points such as the Belvedere of Castelletto, the ancient walls of Righi or the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno.

The B&B is on the first floor of a 1930s building accessed via a small private path. The room and the attached bathroom are recently renovated (summer 2017).

With a spacious and elegant room, "super-equipped" and with private bathroom inside, B&B U Sentè is ideal for couples or single travelers.

Continental breakfast served in the room at a time agreed with the guests. On the trolley you will find Genoese pastry products, rusks, jams, honey, Nutella, butter, yogurt, muesly, cereals, fruit juice, milk and fruit. Coffee, tea, herbal teas and milk can be prepared / heated independently with the machine / kettle and microwave in the room.

The host Enrico deserves full marks. However, the listing should clearly state that the accommodation is accessible only via these steep stairs. We arrived from a cruise, so with heavy suitcases and carry-on luggage. It took us a very, very long time to reach our room. Moreover, both of us have recently had two major operations each. It should also be mentioned that getting into the bathtub is without assistance. The tub is very high and not suitable for people with disabilities. It would also be important to note that a cable car or cog railway passes right by the window and is very noisy.

I stayed for two nights in February at this B&B. The room, with en-suite bathroom, was impeccably clean and equipped with every comfort, with small supplies very much appreciated like a toothbrush, shower gel, and intimate cleanser. You can also make coffee or tea directly in the room, and there is a microwave. Breakfast is served directly in the room. Furthermore, the host Andrea proved to be extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. An excellent experience that I recommend.

Great, totally great apartment and very helpful host. The best one I actually had during my travel around Italy. The apartment has a bathtub, coffee machine, tea, good quality bed, towels, toothbrush kit; breakfast is served to the room directly. The access to the location is very easy, but mind you need to go around 30 meters up the hill to reach it. I will definitely come back again if ever stay in Genova. Many thanks to the host.

Very nice structure in the center of Genoa, very close to all the points of interest in the city. A bit inconvenient only because you can't arrive and unload in front of the structure, as it is located on a pedestrian-only street and there is a bit of uphill/downhill to do. However, the manager offers to help (so he is very helpful). The room is nice and has a unique character, the only flaw is that the window is located near the funicular (which is quite quiet even though it passes by often). The breakfast is good, with a delicious local pastry proposal. In my opinion, the only thing missing is butter for breakfast and Nutella in single-serving packaging to be more complete. The manager is still very available to answer all questions about parking and provide suggestions. I would go back.

The B&B U Sentè is perfect for couples who are staying in Genova for a few days: Located near the center, it's a perfect base to explore the city. There is not much space in the room, but it's equipped with everything you need. The B&B is very clean, and we appreciated the flexibility of the host (who is living next door) on arrival. The breakfast was also very good. \n\nThank you very much, we had a lovely stay!

The apartment was small but equipped with all the necessary comforts. Pro: excellent cleanliness, comfortable bed, abundant breakfast with fresh croissants. Cons: despite the apartment being a 20-minute walk from the station, it was difficult to find, with a hill to climb. Outside the window, there are the rails of the funicular, so even at 10 pm you can hear the cabins. The host was very kind and helpful.
