During the summer, chairs, sun loungers, and tables are provided for outdoor lunches or breakfasts. I am a former French literature professor who taught at a private language high school for 20 years. My students remember me fondly.

For 6 years, I worked as an auctioneer in an antique auction house.

The idea for this new job came from the English B&Bs that I revised and improved to better suit the tastes and needs of an international clientele.

B&B The Lemon Inn is very basic. Ok just to sleep for one night, but I wouldn't go back. The owner is kind but the structure is very dated, attached to the railway, very small room, without windows and many mosquitoes, with a French door as entrance but being located in a courtyard if you leave it open everyone can see into your room. Tiny bathroom, very uncomfortable mattresses. Very poor breakfast with industrial products. In short, ok only for last-minute booking.

Located in a garden/orchard and composed of several buildings, the B&B La Locanda dei limoni has the inconvenience of being close to the railway station. Room no. 1, which had been reserved for us, is the most penalized in this sense as it is located right next to the tracks and this obviously penalizes rest. Nothing that cannot be overcome with a spirit of adaptation, even though it is necessary to know it in order to book better. For the rest, the stay was pleasant, although breakfast could be improved by offering a greater choice both in terms of quality and quantity compared to just packaged products. The location close to the historic center is a more than positive element, as is the courtesy of the manager (who initially did not want to activate the air conditioning, despite it being present in the room, and then, due to the temperature, changed his mind). Overall a pleasant experience.

The structure is clean and quiet, Professor Alberto who manages everything is kind and welcoming. I will come back again with my friends. Sarzana is a beautiful town.

Albert is kind and helpful and the B&B La Locanda dei limoni is very nice and convenient to visit the center. Only flaw the noise of some night trains being adjacent to the station, but it is bearable without problems.

I chose the B&B La Locanda dei Limoni to stay with my husband and other couples of friends for one night. The location of the property turned out to be strategic for the tour we decided to do, very close to Lerici and convenient for visiting the 5 Terre. Alberto is an excellent manager and a pleasant company. The noise of the trains did not turn out to be a problem, I find it charming given the location of the B&B. Excellent value for money.

This was an amazing gem right beside the train station. It had a very cool little courtyard with fruit trees. The owner Alberto is a wonderful gentleman who was very kind and accommodating.
