Description

In the apartment where William Butler Yeats lived from 1928-30, our guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the gulf. Two spacious rooms with parquet floors, double bed, television, sofa, large wardrobe, one of the rooms has air conditioning, complete the rooms with two bathrooms for the exclusive use of our guests.

The shared space consists of the breakfast area, offering a rich organic delicacies that will be served at the agreed time by our guests. There is also the relaxation area with a sofa and a library. Located between Genoa and La Spezia, our guests can relax in the tranquility of our structure and at the same time easily reach all the attractions of the Levante (Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Paraggi, Cinque Terre, Genoa, Aquarium, etc.) in a short time, either by their own means (large free parking at the entrance of the port), by bus (stop below the B&B), by ferry (3 minutes on foot), or by train (5 minutes on foot).

The bed and breakfast is located at the Port of Rapallo, on the road that leads to Portofino (30 min), Santa Margherita (10 min), Paraggi, easily reachable by bus (bus stop right below the B&B) or by ferry (2 min walk).

You can visit the 5 Terre comfortably by train or ferry, both of which can be easily taken near the B&B.

It is 30 minutes away from Genoa airport, 28 minutes away from the Genoa aquarium, and just a few minutes away from the Rapallo golf and tennis club and the highway.

My husband and I stayed one night at the property, excellent welcome from the owner Matilde. The B&B is in a great location, close to the station; even though our room overlooked the street (4th floor), we managed to rest well, without being bothered by traffic. There is an elevator. Impeccable cleanliness, very spacious room as well as the bathroom. Nothing is missing. Rich breakfast with homemade jams and sweets! Highly recommended!

Clean and comfortable room, located just steps away from everything (train station, main bus stop, city center, and sea). The manager, Mrs. Matilde, makes the difference. An exquisite lady as much as the breakfast you will find! Homemade cakes and jams, with a stunning view. I recommend the room and will gladly return.

Very spacious bedroom with private bathroom across the hallway. Both rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Extremely kind owner and super breakfast with homemade cake and jams, yogurt, and excellent seasonal fruit. I recommend it!

Mrs. Matilde is a splendid host! She assigned us a very large room (both rooms are actually), already perfectly organized to accommodate us and our 2-year-old baby. The bathroom is also spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. The location is not very central but very convenient to reach the city center and the beaches on foot. But the real plus points are the hospitality of the "kind lady" (as defined by our little one) and the breakfast: nothing was missing, from the focaccia to the homemade cake. Highly recommended!

Great location with supermarket, pharmacy, and bars just a few steps away, good cleanliness, very kind and hospitable owner! The breakfast included, among the many products, also homemade jams and muffins made by the owner. There is no on-site parking but you can park your car in the free parking lots a few meters away.

Highly recommended B&B both because it is located in the city center and for the wonderful Mrs. Matilde: an extraordinary woman who pampered us from the first day. Of a unique sweetness, extreme availability, and courtesy. The blue room has a very comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, a TV, bedside tables with plugs and USB devices to recharge phones. Perfect cleanliness. Private and very spacious toilet, equipped with everything including a hairdryer and soft and clean towels. The gem is breakfast: you never finish eating, from local focaccia to Mrs. Matilde's genuine and carefully crafted jams, and much more. Close to the sea, the center, and bus stops for S. Michele, S. Margherita, and Portofino right outside the door! If you go to Rapallo, choose Frisenda! Thank you, Mr. Matilde, from the heart! Michela and Camilla.

Unfortunately, the availability of both rooms was for only one night otherwise I would have gladly stayed longer (I had come with the family to attend a wedding). Spacious, well-kept rooms, absolute cleanliness, very friendly lady. Great location. To come back.

A gem in Rapallo! B&B Frisenda very nice, well-kept, and very clean. The owner is very friendly, nice, and helpful. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. The location of the property is strategic for everything: to go to the beach in Rapallo, to go for a walk in the center, to go to the station or to take a bus or the boat to reach other towns. Our room had a beautiful view of the coast of Rapallo. The only flaw is that the window overlooked the street, so at night you could hear the noise of the cars (a problem that can be solved by changing the fixtures in favor of new ones that better soundproof the room and also by installing air conditioning). In conclusion, my friend and I are very satisfied with our choice and if we were to return to Rapallo we would definitely choose this property again.

Splendid B&B in a central position in Rapallo (tourist port area, right side of the river) in true Ligurian style. Enormous pink room, fresh and welcoming, perhaps slightly noisy due to the very busy street below. Private bathroom, just outside the room, equally large and clean. Breakfast served in the large hall by the very kind Mrs. Matilda who every day made us find homemade sweets and jams (special mention for the apricot one), fresh focaccia, seasonal fruit, yogurt, and fruit juices. It was very pleasant to have a chat every morning with the landlady, always attentive to our every need. If we were to return to Rapallo, we would not hesitate to book this excellent structure again.

Spacious room with private bathroom in front of the room. Excellent level of cleanliness. Varied and abundant breakfast. The owner, Mrs. Matilde, is extremely kind, very helpful for advice and information about the area. The B&B Frisenda is in a strategic location just steps from the promenade and historic center of Rapallo, a 10-minute walk from Rapallo train station and on the way to Santa Margherita. The beach of San Michele di Pagana can be easily reached on foot. Free parking can be found at the marina or on Viale Milano.

Structure managed by a very kind, friendly and nice lady. More than positive experience. We spent one night in this establishment, located in the center of Rapallo. The building is ancient and elegant, the house furnished with extreme taste and attention to details. Excellent cleanliness, spacious areas, peace, and tranquility. The breakfast is plentiful, based on organic and genuine products, homemade by the very kind Mrs. Matilde, who made us feel at home and treated us in the best way. I will definitely return to this B&B Frisenda and recommend it to relatives and friends. Congratulations and thank you!

Nice house, clean, stylishly furnished, relaxing. Convenient location to visit Rapallo, Santa Margherita, and Portofino. On the 4th floor with an elevator but you can hear the intense traffic from the main road even at night, but it's expected if you choose this area. Large, very tidy, very clean room. Very convenient bathroom outside the room but it's not a problem. Comfortable, functional shower, and very hot, something that is not always found in many highly rated hotels. Hospitality like at home, very kind and helpful lady. Very good breakfast with exceptional genuine jams and a cappuccino made as it should be and very hot. Two 'flaws' in my opinion that can be remedied: the sofa bed is uncomfortable and would require a higher mattress otherwise you can feel the iron underneath (the bed, on the other hand, is very comfortable); the door of the room is too noisy especially at night and should be fixed or replaced like the one in the bathroom, which instead works very well. Thank you. Best regards. Emilio. P. S.: For those who like it, as I do, the house is full of very interesting books, even just to flip through for the pleasure and enjoyment of reading a few pages. Extraordinary.

Excellent location, as the building is located very close to the promenade and the center of Rapallo. Simple but very clean room. The owner is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is also very good with fresh and homemade products. The only flaw (but this is subjective and I absolutely don't want to blame anyone) is that the street where the building is located is very busy and can cause disturbances during the night rest. In any case, I recommend the structure and I would go back myself if I had to return to the area.

Ho soggiornato con mia mamma per il ponte del 2 giugno, B&B all'interno molto carino, la camera arredata con gusto, colazione ottima. Molto carina e simpatica la signora, disposta ogni giorno a consigliarci dove andare e cosa vedere (Sestri Levante, il battello per arrivare a S. Fruttuoso e poi Camogli). Sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr angenehm und gibt auch gerne Auskunft für Fragen (Ausflüge in die Umgebung). Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber, hell und es gibt auch einen Aufenthaltsraum, alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Beide Zimmer haben ein eigenes Badezimmer (auch diese sind top eingerichtet). Das Frühstück ist gut - vorallem der cappuccino! Rapallo ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge in beide Richtungen - Portofino und Umgebung und Cinque terre. Es ist alles auch mit Öv möglich.

Cosa dire del B&B Frisenda? Ci vorrebbe un po' di tempo per commentare le nostre ferie nella casa della proprietaria, signora Matilde, ma cercherò di essere breve: disponibilità, pulizia, voglia di coccolare i propri ospiti con colazioni abbondanti e sfiziose, ma soprattutto cortesia. Siamo rimasti per una settimana, mentre la voglia sarebbe stata quella di fermarsi un mese. Vivamente consigliato anche per qualità-prezzo. Ottima la posizione davanti al porto Riva: qualsiasi metà raggiungibile a piedi, autobus, battello o treno. Saluti e nuovamente grazie alla signora Matilde, anche da parte di mio figlio. Marco.

In sintesi: proprietaria cortese e disponibile, buona colazione con prodotti BIO di prima qualità, camere nuove, ben arredate e pulitissime, servizi altrettanto nuovi e puliti, posizione del B&B centrale a 2 passi dal porto dove si trova un ampio parcheggio. L'unica pecca o limite, se così si può dire, il non avere le delle chiavi di casa per cui devi sempre citofonare o chiamare la proprietaria di casa (a tutte le ore). limitando in parte la tua libertà di movimento. Voto complessivo 7,5.

Tutto ottimo, dalla posizione centrale vista mare alla camera confortevole e pulita. Ampia sala con un grande balcone dove troverete una fantastica colazione BIO. Padrona di casa impeccabile per la gentilezza. Abbiamo passato un bel weekend a Rapallo e a San Fruttoso in battello facilmente raggiungibile vista la comoda posizione. Cosa dire andateci.

Un week-end indimenticabile!!! Appena partiti per il ritorno volevamo già tornare da Frisenda. La Camera da letto molto grande, una colazione abbondante, tutta rigorosamente biologica. Situato in una posizione "strategica", a soli 10 minuti dalla rinomata Portofino e da S. Margherita Ligure. A meno di mezz'ora dalla magica Camogli. La stessa Rapallo molto bella. Il B&B da Frisenda riesce a racchiudere il lato storico del luogo con le comodità più moderne dei nostri tempi, ma la vera anima di questo B&B è la "padrona di casa", con una disponibilità unica, una cortesia difficile da trovare. Insomma vi sentirete coccolati dall'inizio alla fine. Quindi un soggiorno che raccomandiamo a chiunque voglia visitare questi luoghi dagli scorci mozzafiato.
