The design of the property

Description

The Villa del Priore dates back to 1880 when Don Luigi Cav. Gazzano, the prior of Santa Vittoria, built it in the second half of the nineteenth century. Don Gazzano was also the mayor of Sestri Levante and during his term, he dedicated himself to the planning and construction of some palaces that are still visible in the city's historic center.

In 1970, our family purchased and renovated the villa, making improvements over the years to make it a welcoming and comfortable place. The Villa del Priore is located among vineyards and ancient trees and blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape, an environment characterized by gentle hills and sinuous profiles that offer suggestive contrasts of colors at sunset.

This house has always been used as a summer residence to spend holidays, as it offers a break of peace, relaxation, and a valid starting point for reaching the main tourist destinations of the promontory.

Casa Del Priore, just 3 km away from the sea and the historic center of Sestri Levante, is immersed in greenery and tranquility. The strategic location allows you to easily reach, by car, train or boat, the Cinque Terre, Santa Margherita and Portofino, as well as the numerous beaches that overlook the Portofino promontory.

The beautiful beach is just a 5-minute drive from the accommodation. If you are fond of cycling, we suggest that you bring them with you, as you can easily reach the beach in just 15 minutes. We had a good time with Francesca, a perfect hostess, kind and welcoming. The house is a beautiful historic residence with a lot of charm and a position in the greenery, quiet and comfortable. It is easy to reach and strategically located both for Sestri Levante and for the nearby Riva Trigoso and Moneglia.

Like when you go on vacation at your grandmother's house... Family atmosphere. Welcoming and always available manager. Rich and varied breakfast with focaccia and warm croissants from the oven. Well-kept garden and internal parking. The rooms have maintained the antique furnishings and floors, reminiscent of the beautiful and warm houses of the grandparents. The center of Sestri Levante is about a 10-minute drive away.
