Description

Bussana is a nice and small village not far from the coast and the sea, between Sanremo and Arma di Taggia. In 1887 an earthquake destroyed the old part of Bussana called “Bussana Vecchia”. Today, many italian and foreign artists came to live here and opened pittoresque shops in the magic atmosphere of the tiny streets called “carruggi”!
Our B&B is the ideal location for those people who want to enjoy a holiday in the mountain and on the beach. It is 2 km far from the seaside and 30 minutes by car from the wonderful Alpi Liguri. In the area between Imperia and Ospedaletti there is 50 km long cycling way where you can cycle or walk along the coast.

The building is a new villa with a fantastic view on the sea and we offer to our guest 2 doublebed rooms and one family room for 4/5 persons. Each rooms has a private bathroom. One double rooms and the family room has the bathroom outside, in front of the room, one double has the bathroom inside. In every room there's the AC.

The breakfast, according to many of our guests, is one of the most rewarding moments of the stay in the B&B Ariadamare! The table is set in a way that is always varied and colorful, and the food propose try to satisfy every people.

Different types of creamed croissants, chocolate, apples, are baked every morning and every day is offered a cake handmade
And then still biscuits, butter, jam, biscuits, focaccia, sardenaira, canestrelli, fruit juice, hot drinks at will! And for those who want a "savory" breakfast, on request, a wide selection of cold meats and cheeses is offered!
All this, during the summer, is consumed in the garden, with the splendid view of the blue sea and the brilliant green of the hills! Sometime you'll find also product of our garden like tomatoes, grape and figs.

Hello. My name is Laura and I am a middle school teacher. I teach music (I have a degree in piano and singing) but I also do theater and dance, activities that I have been practicing for many years. I have 2 children: Emanuele who is 21 years old and attends the Polytechnic University of Turin, studying physical engineering, and Beatrice who is 18 years old and will finish high school this year in the linguistic field.

We are a wonderful extended family: my ex-husband, Antonello, manages the best bakery in Arma di Taggia, so fresh croissants, focaccia, and sardenaira, the best in the area, will always be present on your breakfast table! My partner and cohabitant, Andrea, will spoil you with tomatoes from the garden, fresh figs, and the various simple delights from our small vegetable garden!
Our beautiful home has always been open to our friends, so we thought of expanding the circle and transforming our residence into a B&B.

You will find a warm welcome and the utmost availability to help you make the most of your vacation with us: I know the territory where I live very well and I love it immensely, so it will be my pleasure to guide you through the beautiful places in our area!
You won't find signs along the way to get to us by my choice: I don't want to host passing users, this is my home where I live with my children and I want to know in advance who is coming!
By email or phone, I will explain the route to get home: the fundamental thing is not to take the directions given by your navigator literally! Rather, compare them with the ones I will give you, but if they are different, please trust me more than technology!
The roads that lead here are different and some of them make the route much longer and quite challenging! With my directions, you will take very little time and arrive without getting lost! Another thing about the roads.

The characteristic that makes Liguria such an extraordinary land is that the mountains plunge into the sea, which means that the roads are narrow and steep! If you can choose, prefer a small-sized car: you will experience your vacation with less stress from parking and narrow roads!

Laura and Andrea are great people, helpful and attentive. The property is very beautiful and well cared for, with a beautiful view. Admittedly, the road to get there is not very easy, especially with a large vehicle, but we are in Liguria.

Ariadamare is because it is on top of a hill from where you can admire a superb landscape of lush countryside plunging into the sea. The room and the bathroom are spacious. Our host, Laura who speaks French very well took good care of us and recommended good restaurant addresses and the visit to Bussana Vecchia.

Laura and Andrea were two exceptional hosts, they made us feel immediately at home and better than with family, ready to do their best to welcome guests. The panoramic location immersed in nature, the silence, the fresh air, and the proximity to seaside and hillside locations are truly a plus. Spectacular breakfast with products from the garden and homemade cakes, generous in quantity and choice. The cleanliness is perfect, and the room where we stayed was spacious and equipped with air conditioning, TV, kettle, and all the comforts, and parking inside the structure itself with full autonomy of return/exit times.

The Ariadamare B&B is located on the hills of Bussana and enjoys a secluded, quiet, and panoramic position. The hosts are very kind, the room is very clean, the bathroom is small but tidy, and there is a panoramic garden where a complete breakfast is served. We tasted freshly picked tomatoes from the garden, as well as cake, focaccia, brioche, juices, fruits, coffee, tea, etc. The only downside was the heat in this scorching summer that didn't allow us to rest properly. The air conditioners are already in place but not yet installed. The couple we shared the breakfast table with told us that they didn't feel the heat much, so it could be that our room was warmer than others.

We can only praise our stay at the Ariadamare property. The location on the Bussana and Sanremo bay is nothing short of spectacular. The hosts, two wonderful people with whom we will definitely keep in touch. We were welcomed and pampered as if we were family. Very nice B&B, large and well-furnished rooms, but above all very clean. Exclusive bathroom, also super clean and well equipped. I stayed at Ariadamare in mid-August and it was a short but very pleasant stay. Laura was kind and helpful, both in the welcoming and in assisting with the uphill walk to the house (a bit steep) and parking. The breakfast is abundant and delicious with homemade focaccias and cakes, the rooms are cozy and spotless, and the fact that it is her private home makes the atmosphere warmer and more welcoming. Despite having other guests during the same period, it was calm and there were no difficulties with the shared bathroom. While it's not right by the sea, if you are comfortable with driving, the view and the setting make up for the effort.

Family-friendly and welcoming B&B. Laura and Beatrice are very kind and make sure you lack nothing. Accessibility is slightly challenging due to the steep access road. However, once you arrive, you can enjoy the tranquility of the place and a wonderful view from above on the village of Bussana. We stayed in the violet room. The room is small but well-equipped. To access the bathroom, you have to pass through the common corridor. Breakfast is varied and plentiful with fruit, homemade cake, and warm focaccia.

Really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful house and wonderful, helpful, kind family. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms comfortable and bathroom and everywhere very clean. As they say, it's recommended for a car here. We never had one, but is ok if you enjoy walking and aren't worried about long walks home in the dark! The lovely family also let us borrow their bikes, (but there are many rental shops nearby). This was fantastic to see other areas along the coast, the cycle-path is a must! (and great fitness getting back up the hill). Very well located to visit and enjoy this beautiful coastline. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Laura and family, we hope to see you all again soon.

The breakfast had excellent cakes and homemade bread just baked by the very kind hostess, in addition to the priceless view of the gulf that can be enjoyed from the garden while eating. The location is strategic because it allows you to be in a green and ventilated place, far from the chaos of the underlying beaches to rest after a day at the beach, and it is very close to Bussana Vecchia and convenient for reaching the two towns of Sanremo and Arma.

Beautiful place, warm welcome, delicious and abundant breakfast (Laura, the owner, makes sublime cakes). It feels like being hosted by friends. Highly recommended.

We (my girlfriend and I) stayed for 10 days and it was really wonderful. The sight from the B&B onto the sea is awesome and within a few minutes (by car) you can lay on the beach and enjoy the sun and the water. Laura and her family did their best to guarantee us a lovely stay with an awesome breakfast.
