Description

Arbanella is a small family-run Agriturismo. It consists of comfortable double rooms, all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, central heating, and WiFi. In addition to the rooms, we offer our guests a splendid and typical Ligurian accommodation, the Studio Serra (double room, fully equipped kitchen, small living room with sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower), with WiFi, central heating, and air conditioning. Our facilities are located in the heart of the center of Corniglia, at the intersection of the Sentiero Azzurro, the famous pedestrian path that connects Corniglia with Vernazza and Manarola.

The staff managing the property are very kind and the welcome is polite. The cleanliness is impeccable and the studio apartment is brand new. Unfortunately, its location on the thoroughfare leading to the trail and the refreshment point directly below the building means the studio is flooded with voices and chatter from the early hours of the morning until the evening. Great for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere.

This place is well located and offers views. It is clean, tidy, and the beds are comfortable. We arrived to find some lovely treats. The staff were excellent and gave clear instructions on how to find the place. There is an amazing cafe that sells delicious focaccia sandwiches just across the main road and a one-minute walk up the little alleyway. The only thing that is not so great is the church bells, which ring throughout the night. The stairs to the apartment are very steep, being large stone ones, so they are not the easiest with luggage; the same at the train station — no lift. There is a shuttle from the train to the main square though (buy tickets at the station; they are cheaper than on the bus), and it is only a few minutes from there.

It's a pity about the ceiling height in the mezzanine bedroom (it may be around 1.70 m?) and especially on the stairs. Otherwise, the apartment is new and well renovated.

The external access stairs to the apartment are too steep and dangerous. The bathroom is in the former cellar with two steps down, very inconvenient. Great location. Good price.

Great stay at Arbanella even if it was just for one night in Corniglia. Excellent welcome and everything was very clean. Breakfast was not included, but it had a coffee machine, herbal teas, juices, and toasted bread with jams and cookies. Recommended especially for couples. From the window, you could hear the beautiful sound of the sea's surf. I will definitely return since it is also strategic and central for visiting all five lands.

Room Oregani: Beautiful spacious room with amazing sea view and balcony. Very well equipped, with drinks and snacks included. 10/10 recommended, would book again any time. Located on the edge of the city with views over the mountains and sea. Be aware - lots of steps around here. Bring mosquito spray if you visit the Arbanella garden. Lovely housekeeping service, thanks a lot to Luca for making my stay here so comfortable. Room Verde: Small room with simple furnishings for a pleasant price. Located in an older building in the center, very noisy in the morning, ear plugs provided. With roof-top terrace on the 5th floor (room is on the first floor). Since I also had to work there, I was assured the terrace provided shade and wifi. Unfortunately, when I got there, there was no functional parasol nor wifi available (intermittent wifi with 1-2 bars was not strong enough to maintain connection let alone connect video calls). Upon request, the landlady first promised to take care of it, which unfortunately did not happen. Further inquiries were simply ignored by the landlady - to this day. This made me feel not taken seriously. Very unfortunate, since this has clouded an otherwise nice stay.

Alessandra, very nice, sent me all the necessary information to access the room, as well as directions to places to eat, etc. The room, easily accessible with a private entrance, is located right next to the church of Corniglia, whose bells can be heard ringing. But with the provided earplugs, it's perfect. Everything was very clean, the bathroom is modern, but when you turn on the bathroom light, the ventilation system starts and makes a bit of noise. Other than that, I highly recommend this room, which is located right next to the starting point of the hike between Corniglia and Vernazza.

Affordable accommodation with a stunning panoramic view, especially at sunset. At night, you can see a procession of fireflies in the valley below the garden. Clear and precise information for access (video clip via WhatsApp). Thank you for the welcome basket, coffee, some snacks, and drinks in the mini-fridge. Attention: think about bringing a backpack or a small suitcase (spiral staircase to enter). One note, but this depends on the weather: the Alloro room is partially underground, condensation forms in the bathroom when it's hot outside. Luckily, there is a terrace where you can dry the towels!

I highly recommend this B and B! The little town is magical and much smaller and less chaotic than the rest, and the view from our room was spectacular. If you would like to be out of the main hubbub, this is the place for you, and the bus is very reliable to get to the town and back to the train, if you don't choose to use the 382 steps to town! Instead of crowd noises, you hear crazy frog and fun bird sounds at night. There are some steps to contend with getting to the Verde room and even more with some steep ones getting up to the Studio Serra, but worth it if steps are OK for you. (I only mention these as our 85 year old mother-in-law struggled a bit with the steps to the Studio Serra, so we had her stay in the Verde on the lower level.) There is a wonderful little outside terrace with the Studio Serra and our rooms came with access to an amazing rooftop area that has an inside space with helpful items. Right outside the building is a great place to get your morning cappuccino and wonderful avocado toast. We were gifted with a bottle of wine that was perfect for a rooftop celebration upon our arrival, as well as many snacks. The host was VERY gracious and flexible and responsive, and provided all we needed and told us clearly how to get anything we may run out of during our stay. (I contrast this with our Venice Airbnb, which only gave us 2 rolls of TP for 6 people.) The lovely church right next door was built in 1334 and is a peaceful oasis. The price was very reasonable for the lovely accommodation. As you go through the small walkway through the town, there was a wonderful restaurant with outside seating below the level of the walkway on the right, and it was a great place to eat. Keep going all the way to the end on that walkway for a great ocean view, and explore the other towns by taking the bus to the train. This is an oasis!

The house is completely renovated, bright, very clean, the host is very kind, a welcome letter arrives with very useful information regarding parking, mobility, restaurants, and bars. Although breakfast was not planned, there are: a coffee machine, a kettle, some welcome snacks, and a mini-fridge. The only downside, but this is a personal aspect, is that the mattress/base flexes too much. Otherwise, highly recommended!

First of all, the view from the garden is breathtaking. In moments of tranquility, you can hear the sound of the waves. The Alloro apartment is perfect for those with a dog, as it has a small terraced garden. The room has everything necessary for a weekend. The breakfast is packaged but nothing is missing. Excellent cleanliness and size, the only remark is accessibility. There is a spiral staircase, which is not a problem for us but can be an obstacle for those with mobility issues. Parking is a bit complex; if you are lucky, you can park in a white stripe, otherwise, it costs 20 euros per day. The host was punctual and courteous, never intrusive. I would say everything is perfect, we would gladly return.

Very nice stay at Studio Serra. I received all instructions the day before, very clear. The fridge was filled with coffee cream, marmalade, juices and a nice local white wine! Quiet area which is super cool at night! The host and helpers are super nice! Dogs are allowed to stay which is a super PLUS! The apartment is quite nice but not fully equipped (no microwave, only a couple of pans, no TV), nothing to wash your clothes. Be aware that the church rings also all night long so it can be annoying (even if the host leaves you with earplugs) and especially that the room window has a space at the bottom so not too great. Coffee and tea at your disposal + biscuits, a bit of salt but no pepper or olive oil. I recommend Lisa market for your groceries! I would come back!

We rented the Origano apartment for 7 nights. It was small but had a lovely little balcony and a fridge. There were snacks in the room, replenished daily, and some drinks in the fridge. We had a pleasant stay and appreciated the proximity to great hiking and swimming spots. Communication with the host was through WhatsApp. Overall, we are satisfied with this affordable accommodation.

The structure is managed by an excellent staff, highly recommended for this reason as well. It is very clean and well stocked with everything necessary. As soon as we arrived, we felt very welcomed thanks also to the welcome basket that was prepared for us! I had a bit of trouble finding the property due to the village's layout, full of alleys and stairways, but I really appreciated the interaction with Alessandra, who sent me videos on Whatsapp on how to reach the property and pick up the keys, helping me out. Spacious, clean room, no breakfast but a basket with wafers, chips, rusks, and jams available. Excellent location with a view of the valley and the rest of the city and a portion of the sea. Perhaps not the cheapest but it's worth spending a bit more for the quality. I definitely recommend it.

We spent two nights in this beautiful room, in a very convenient location compared to the center of Corniglia and with a spectacular view of the Gulf. The environment is new and very nice, with exposed wooden roof being a top floor. Perfect cleanliness and hospitality, fast and helpful communication, highly recommended, we hope to come back soon.

A really nice property with a great view across the valley and down towards the marina. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Google sent me the wrong way when I got off the bus, so don't use it. Luca had sent me a very helpful video, but as I'd started with Google, I couldn't recognize any of the places. I messaged Luca and he came straight over to find me. The village is very atmospheric, particularly at night. It's about 15 minutes walk down the stairs to the station (or catch the bus).

Arbanella was the perfect location for us, and we loved our room so much with spectacular views of the sea and nature. We were blown away and loved the fact that we could drink wine on our balcony while watching the sunset. It's such a peaceful location. Alessandra was a great host. They welcomed us with a snack basket, and she was always available on WhatsApp for any questions I had and for making reservations for me, which was very helpful. She also added a few birthday surprises that I requested for my fiancé's birthday, which was so cute and a great touch. The property was clean and in such a great location, just a couple of minutes' walk to amazing bars and restaurants. Just one word: Wow! What a wonderful place to stay in Cinque Terre. First of all, Luca's welcome. Super nice, available and he is not stingy with good plans and advice. Before arriving, I was in contact with him by message. He was very responsive which allowed good timing for my arrival. The room is very clean, warm, well decorated. The bathroom is modern and functional and just as clean. The bedding is very good. Finally, we should not forget the magnificent terrace (origano room) from which you have a magnificent view and on which you are obliged to take the aperitif which awaits you in the fridge (snacks, juices and a bottle of white wine). I really found a pearl while looking for accommodation at Arbanella and all my friends have now received the address! In short, if you see that this accommodation is available on your dates. Do not hesitate.

We were greeted nicely, lovely details in the room, wonderful view! Small downside: the path to the garden is a bit dangerous and there is manure stored... But would go back anytime!

Excellent location in the center of the Lovely Corniglia: the trails to the 5 lands all pass through the village, there are several places to eat and two grocery stores for breakfast. Extremely quiet place and well heated (with the possibility of independently changing the temperature).
