Description

Widely spread until the 1950s, the "Carla apple" is an ancient variety native to the neighboring Finalese area, now at risk of extinction.

Small and irregular, it has a smooth green-yellow skin speckled with pink, and the flesh, creamy white in color, is aromatic, juicy, and very sweet (although not excessively sugary). Particularly delicate, it doesn't keep as well as others and is best enjoyed freshly picked, qualities that have mainly destined it for family consumption. A basket full of fruits, grown on the tree that has been with us for a long time, always graces our table at home.

In an era that often sees us subjected to the consumption of anonymous products, "the good things of the past" evoke the passion and dedication necessary to obtain good fruits, suggesting the same attention and care, the warm atmosphere of times gone by that we offer to our guests.

We are open all year round.

You can also taste our specialties while admiring the spectacular view of the medieval village and castle. We had a sunny room overlooking the surrounding hills and the village with castle ruins. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There are also day visitors who stop here for the carefully prepared food with authentic Ligurian regional cuisine. It's really worth eating here! The B&B is located in a quiet area with beautiful hiking opportunities.

Very nice accommodation, wonderful food, made with a lot of love. Very nice landlady, cheerful and kind. Unfortunately, there are 2 roosters in the immediate vicinity, which crow alternately from about 5. 00h in the morning. Unfortunately, sleep was no longer possible.

I stayed at the Antico Melo, we had a good time: quiet and great breakfast. However, there is no value for money, especially regarding the room. I suffer from allergies and in this room I had an allergy explosion: probably due to dust and mold smell. As for the fantastic location, the lady was very kind. Thank you.

Buongiorno, siamo spiaciuti per la sua allergia ma la camera come tutte le altre è stata pulita al meglio prima del vostro arrivo in ogni sua parte, polvere compresa. per quanto riguarda la muffa non è assolutamente presente in ognuna delle nostre camere mi spiace quindi che abbia scritto una cosa non vera. siamo in primavera ed e più possibile che visto la posizione in mezzo alla natura del nostro agriturismo le sia stata scatenata dai pollini che volano in questo periodo. Farmhouse in a very picturesque location, excellent products and great availability and courtesy of the managers. Excellent breakfast and dining. Unfortunately, the room was just sufficient: lack of TV (even though it's not the main feature one looks for in a farmhouse) and poor wifi signal. Considering the 85 euros per night for a double room with breakfast, the price seems a bit high in relation to the overall conditions.

We stayed at the beginning of March in this delightful farmhouse, carefully decorated in every detail and run with great availability and kindness by the owners. We appreciated the abundant breakfasts and the interesting dishes that were offered to us, all at a reasonable price.
