Description
The farmhouse is a charming renovated old barn, consisting of three rooms with private bathrooms and a breakfast room. The property is surrounded by olive groves and cultivated fields and is located near the Montemarcello Magra Natural Park and the Cinque Terre. Nearby, you can visit the towns of Corvara, Bracelli, and Pignone and enjoy rafting or canoeing on the Vara River.

The three rooms have independent external access, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and a minibar. One room is wheelchair accessible, and one room has a kitchenette.

In honor of the surrounding nature, we have named the rooms after plants found in our area: Chestnut, Downy oak and Olive.

Breakfast is served in a separate area adjacent to the rooms. In the summer, you can enjoy breakfast outdoors under the porch. We also offer options for vegan breakfast.

In the garden guests have access to a barbecue.

Free charging for electric cars is also available.

Hey from Simona

Member since May 2024 | 82 hits
The story begins in 2001, when Ruggiero Simona decides to combine the lands of her husband Paolo and her brothers-in-law Gabriele and Giancarlo to create a farm dedicated to the cultivation of vegetables, potatoes, and sheep farming. In 2003, the renovation works of the old barn and small chicken coop.

On August 8, 2004, the Casalino Agriturismo officially opens its doors.

At the end of 2014, Paolo becomes the sole owner of the building, which was previously co-owned with Giancarlo. The upper floor is renovated and becomes the residence of Paolo, Simona, and their son Giordano, while the 3 rooms on the ground floor are maintained to accommodate the guests of the agriturismo.

Area countryside
In the heart of the "Val di Vara", surrounded by green and untouched landscapes, the "Casalino" farmhouse was established in August 2004, situated on the road that leads directly to the "Cinque Terre". From here, you can easily reach any of the "Cinque Terre" locations and its beautiful towns (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso) through peaceful routes. This unique area gradually slopes, sometimes dramatically, until it merges with the sea.

Of course, it would be a shame to forget about the other "gems" of this Ligurian Levante region, such as Portovenere, Lerici, Tellaro, Fiascherino, San Terenzo, Sarzana, the Montemarcello Magra Park, and the interesting museums in La Spezia itself. If you wish to go hiking or cycling along the trails of the C. A. I. to reach the mountain ridges overlooking the sea of the "5 Terre" and capture breathtaking panoramas with your cameras, there is no problem, the owner is an environmental guide and will provide you with all the necessary information.
