Description

In the heart of Levanto, the Agriturismo A due passi dal mare is born in an old Liberty-style house. Open almost all year round, in November and December only on weekends and during the holidays of All Saints, Immaculate Conception, Christmas, New Year's, and Epiphany.

Easily accessible by both car and train.

Here, the owners Maurizio and Francesca will be waiting for you and will accompany you inside the structure.

The Agriturismo offers double and triple rooms with private bathroom, heating, air conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, and satellite TV.

No pets allowed.

Breakfast service from 8: 00 AM to 9: 00 AM, where you will be served a plentiful Italian breakfast in our charming and cozy lounge.

We do not offer 24-hour reception service.

Check-in before 6: 00 pm (not between 01: 00 pm and 03: 00 pm).

The owner of the structure uses WhatsApp only for personal use; messages received on that app will be ignored.

We are a young couple from Germany and had a wonderful time at this bed and breakfast in Levanto. The room was clean and bright, had its own bathroom, air conditioning, and a small fridge to store food. We especially liked the small garden where we had breakfast, sat in the afternoon, and ate our own snacks. We could also dry our wet towels there after returning from the beach. Breakfast consisted of various sweet cakes and good coffee. The host was attentive and helpful.

Francesca welcomed us in a historic location, a villa on the main street of Levanto in Art Deco style, which I think is excellent for lovers of history and art. The rooms are on the ground floor, and we were also lucky enough to find a spot in the small internal parking. I recommend it to anyone who loves to spend a few days in this splendid historic Ligurian village to reserve a room.

The B&B really enjoys an enviable location. Mrs. Francesca is an excellent host as she proved to be very helpful and attentive to welcoming us. The breakfast was excellent, and her lemon cake is really worth trying. The only flaw is the presence of humidity, but the cleanliness of this structure really does everything possible to eliminate this as much as possible, which for me is really the only flaw found. We thank Mrs. Francesca again for the hospitality she reserved for us.

We had a wonderful stay at 'A Due Passi dal Mare' in July 2024. Francesca & Maurizio are extremely kind and caring, and breakfasts are lovely in the garden. The place is convenient to go anywhere (5 min from the train station, 5 min to the sea and 8-10 min to the boat departures). I fully recommend it.

Structure located near the sea and the center, where you can find all the necessary services (station, pharmacy, bar, restaurants, and supermarkets). Great place to visit the 5 Terre by boat or by train (I recommend the boat). The owner of the structure (Francesca) is a great person, very kind, and makes super tasty breakfast pastries. Large room with bedroom (double bed and sofa bed), bathroom with shower, no kitchenette. Excellent value for money.

Clean facility, convenient to services, close to the center, reachable by train or car (internal parking, very convenient!). Mrs. Francesca very kind and helpful, unfortunately qualities rare in Liguria, at least from our experiences. Good breakfast but with little variety, although with homemade cakes by Mrs. Francesca very good and appreciated! We will definitely come back! I am deeply sorry to leave a negative review because the owner (Ms. Francesca) was kind and helpful, meeting all our requests. Unfortunately, starting from the booking phase (WhatsApp this unknown), I had doubts because after paying the deposit I tried several times to contact the property without success, despite several phone calls to the numbers provided. However, the main reasons for this negative review are the state of the room and the general cleanliness. The room is an absolutely unhealthy environment, cold, poorly heated, but above all humid. Upon entering, one is impregnated with the smell of "closed and damp" instead of a fresh and clean scent. We slept poorly, suffering from the cold and feeling like we were in a cellar; just think that the walls are full of mold and need a deep refresh. Furthermore, the managers, knowing the situation, pretend nothing is wrong and keep the temperature locked at 20 degrees; it should be noted that upon our request they raised the temperature by one degree (1) and, to avoid misunderstandings, provided us with an additional blanket. The cleanliness, on the other hand, is lacking because the windows, both internal and external, are dirty and the heating system's blades are literally full of dust. In conclusion, we are sorry for all this but for fairness, the right things must be said, which may become a reason for growth and improvement. WE WILL NOT RETURN!

I spent four nights with my two children in this agriturismo, in the center of the town of Levanto, and we had a great time. We were welcomed by Mrs. Francesca, who gave us all the necessary information for our stay. The room was very spacious, with an equipped bathroom, a small fridge with water and fruit juices, TV, Wifi, and air conditioning. The breakfast is Italian, so only sweet, served under the kiwi pergola, and Mrs. Francesca offers delicious homemade cakes. Ideal location for hiking and visiting the 5 lands: 7 minutes from the train station on foot and about 10 minutes from the beach: great for a swim after the hike! Car parked in front of the accommodation and we didn't touch it for the rest of the stay. Spacious and very clean room, with a small refrigerator. Franchesca was very welcoming and available: serves breakfast outside next to the lemon trees: very pleasant... we could even enjoy this terrace for dinner. I spent two nights in this farmhouse, in the center of the town of Levanto, on my way to destinations beyond France and I must say that I was very pleased. Mrs. Francesca welcomes guests with kindness, providing immediately all useful information regarding the stay. The room reserved for me was very large, with a well-equipped bathroom, everything felt clean. Small refrigerator available to guests, with water and fruit juices. The mattress was very comfortable, as well as the hot water in the shower. The windows opened into the garden, full of beautiful flowers. Breakfast (only "sweet", but what sweets...) is served under a pergola of kiwi and lemons and is described verbally by the lady, so that everyone requests what they prefer, without waste, and in these times I find it very commendable. Finally, excellent Wi-Fi, which never hurts, especially when the journey is itinerant and in progress.

The B&B is well-maintained and clean. The night is quiet. The check-in was easy and fast. The rooms are well furnished, the bed comfortable (useful to have in the wardrobe a couple of pillows of different heights perhaps), the bathroom spacious and comfortable (useful perhaps to have a soap dispenser in the shower). Breakfast should be buffet-style, given the end of the emergency phase, with products including fruit and savory items.

Everything was lovely and our Host made us feel at home. The train station was an easy walk as well as the beach area and city center. It was great having free parking included. Breakfast was nice, mostly packaged items still due to Covid concerns, but the homemade cakes were delicious. A very pleasant stay!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days along with another couple we were traveling with. This place is a gem. Francesca goes out of her way to be helpful. The property is conveniently located between the train station, the beach and the town's restaurants and shopping, being only maybe 10 minutes away in either direction. The secure onsite parking, if you have a car, is a bonus. We'd definitely stay here again.

Located about ten minutes on foot from Levanto train station, very convenient to reach the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas, and also a few minutes from the town center and the sea. The owner, Francesca, is an extremely kind, super helpful, and professional person. We had a great time. There are three internal parking spaces, and if not available, a pass for free parking is provided. Breakfast is Italian style with homemade cakes, toast with jam, honey or Nutella, coffee, cappuccino, tea. The room was clean and equipped with air conditioning. We will gladly return. Thanks again to Francesca and her husband whom we didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person.

In this 1900's villa, you will find a charming bed and breakfast, 500 meters from the sea and 500 meters from the train station and a stone's throw from the center. Parking is included in the reservation (fortunately being at 2 euros per hour). The only note is the breakfast, which seems a bit limited at a specific time (from 8 to 9) but Mrs. Francesca makes a great lemon and chocolate cake (I recommend a second serving, if not a third) and the location under a canopy full of kiwis and lemons will still be satisfying. Owners are very helpful for anything and the price considering the location is very competitive. We were lucky enough to bring home some beautiful organic lemons, the owners also have a fruit and vegetable business. Highly recommend! Location, prices, and kindness appreciated... Regards.

Excellent reception, we were provided with a map to be able to park our car. The establishment is close to everything, 5 minutes on foot from the station to go and discover the Cinque Terre, and 5 minutes from the center and the beach. The breakfast is good, and the homemade lemon cake is just fabulous.

Excellent choice to stay in Levanto: very convenient to the train station, the beach, and the center (everywhere is a 5-minute walk). The structure is a historic villa with recently restored interiors; the environment is spacious and very clean (Mrs. Francesca cleans the rooms every 2 days), the breakfast area is a pleasant garden with lemons and other greenery. The owner goes out of her way for the guests, not letting them lack anything and... she prepares more cakes herself every day for breakfast.

It could be a nice and convenient structure in the city center with a small parking lot inside, only 3 available and quite narrow with complications to exit in the evening. Newly refurbished rooms with services. Breakfast from 8 to 9, neither earlier nor later, very poor and mainly made of packaged and not fresh products. I would say it needs significant improvement, even in times of covid. It's okay for those who are not too demanding.

It has internal parking spaces and spacious, well-kept rooms: inside you will find everything you need including air conditioning, wifi, minibar and a fabulous garden where you can have breakfast. The owners are kind and helpful. Mrs. Francesca, in particular, personally takes care of cleaning the rooms and preparing breakfast (highly recommended her lemon cake). Not to be underestimated is the possibility of bringing pets (about a 20-minute walk from the property there is a beautiful beach for them, while a dog area is located 10 minutes away!) The room is spacious and looks like a 5-star hotel room. The property is about a 5-10 minute easy walk to either the train station or the beach. Free inside property parking was also very convenient and needed as street parking is almost impossible to find otherwise.

My husband and I stayed two days at this bed and breakfast. We had a great time. Excellent courtesy, I read in other reviews that the owner is 'strict'. I must say that instead we appreciated the clarity and respect for Francesca's regulations for everyone's well-being. She prepared breakfast at 6:30 in the morning for our departure and made us feel at home. Very good value for money. Excellent cleanliness and location. We had free parking pass for the entire stay. There is a musty smell, but we are by the sea, the houses are old constructions and this structure has been completely renovated. We will definitely come back.

Everything perfect, external structure definitely needs renovation, internally the rooms have been renovated, large rooms, big bathroom. There is a smell of mold, probably because it's on the ground floor and the outside part needs renovation. Breakfast with cakes made by the owner, delicious cappuccino. Good reception, the owner in my opinion could be a bit more accommodating, instead she is strict. In Levanto there are no free parking spaces (maximum one hour) and the rate is 2€/h. We had asked for the possibility to get the car back but it was denied, we asked for the parking pass but not even that. In the end, we had to pay quite a bit to not give up a day at the beach! However, overall the mini vacation went very well, stunning place, the most beautiful beaches in Bonassola that can be easily reached with a cycle path of about 3 km, a bit of road that however offers fantastic landscapes along the way.

A Due Passi dal Mare is very easy to access: it is located in the heart of Levanto, has free private parking so you can leave for a visit to the Cinque Terre with peace of mind. The train station is a 5-10 minute walk, depending on your pace. They are very friendly, speak English and more French than they want to admit, and have all the information as well as up-to-date boat and train schedules available in the lobby. The beds are comfortable; the shutters make the rooms dark enough; modern and clean bathrooms with everything you need (hairdryer, shampoo, soap...) Breakfast is served either indoors or outdoors; it mainly consists of delicious homemade cakes, sealed croissants with jam, and coffee (including cappuccino:). If you want fruit, you can find it nearby (5 min. walk). It's our second time there and we definitely recommend this place!

The B&B is in a great location, both for reaching the sea on foot (5 minutes) and the train station (less than 10 minutes). Not to be underestimated is the convenience of the internal parking, which other facilities do not have. In Levanto during high season, it is difficult to find parking, even for a fee! As a student group, we accommodated our accompanying bus driver at A Due Passi dal Mare and he was extremely satisfied, especially because the owners are very friendly. I do not know anything about the breakfast, so I wrote something at random. Thank you very much for the good address.

Easily reachable, with an excellent location both for walking to the sea (5 minutes) and to the station (less than 10 minutes). The car can be left in the internal parking. Renovated a year and a half ago, spacious rooms and a very nice bathroom. Simple but abundant breakfast with cakes prepared by the owner, very kind and helpful.

Very nice and friendly owners. We had a large room well equipped for the family (a double bed and a bunk bed for the children). Levanto is not particularly beautiful, but the location is very well situated to take the train to the Five Lands. The station is less than 10 minutes on foot.

Really great, brand new rooms, very clean and equipped with all comforts. The managers are very kind and available, and the location is perfect for reaching the sea (3 minutes on foot) as well as the train station (5 minutes on foot). We will definitely return, it is really a nice place and we felt very good.
