5 Borgate B&B, located at Via Alberto Picco 23 in La Spezia, is open all year round and offers accommodation for both short and long stays. Its strategic location will allow you to easily reach, either on foot or by public transport, the starting points to explore the natural wonders of the area, famous worldwide, such as the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, and Lerici. Alternatively, you can conveniently visit the historic center and museums of the city of La Spezia on foot.

The B&B has 4 comfortable rooms, suitable for families as well, where you can rest and relax after a day at the sea or discovering the beauties of the area. All rooms are tastefully furnished, equipped with a private bathroom and all necessary amenities. In addition, the centralized air conditioning will make your stay comfortable even during the hottest days.

We are 200 meters from Piazza Europa, where we find the Town Hall, the Prefecture, and immediately we find Piazza Verdi, where we find the main headquarters of the Italian Post Office, the conservatory, all overlooking the square, where gazebos with tables and armchairs emerge, where being able to sip a coffee.
Crossing Piazza Europa we find ourselves on Molo Italia, from where ferries leave for the 5 lands.

I do not recommend, zero cleanliness, needs to be completely renovated, far on foot from the train station, large hole in the ceiling in the room, electrical outlets half pulled out of the wall absolutely not safe, toilet seat that was coming off on one side and prevented sitting replaced with another similar, insects on the floor, exhausting all of this I would say.

Everything is fine. To fix: the shower cabin leaks water, the hand shower that serves as a bidet cannot be used because it floods the bathroom, add some coat hooks here and there and if one wants to be picky, a full-length mirror. Other than that, it's okay.

Well, comfortable. The only thing I could say is that the bed didn't have a duvet, so the sheet was very thin, and without the option to regulate the centralized air conditioning, it was cold.

The person who welcomed us was rude, demanded that we arrive early by harassing us with phone calls. We had to rush to the bank to withdraw money to pay in cash because she only told us, upon arrival at the property, that the ATM was not working and that it had slipped her mind during the various calls she had made to us. In short, a truly dishonest and inhospitable person. The taps were leaking, the sink was clogged, the furniture lacked the essentials: not a chair, a stool, a shelf in the bathroom, the bidet replaced by a shower next to the toilet which flooded the bathroom when used. The room located in an apartment on the first floor with an elevator but with the door conveniently blocked. The information requested before booking was not true: ease of parking and a 10-minute walk from the central station, maybe 10 minutes by bus when there is no traffic.

Very disappointed, the owner is not welcoming at all. The bathroom is very small, there is no space to put things except for the toilet with the seat down. The room is also very small, barely enough space to pass between the bathroom wall and the bed. Furthermore, upon my return I found out that the payment for my stay had been charged twice. After multiple exchanges with the owner and a week later, having lost patience, the owner still made the transfer to my account even though she had acknowledged the error at the same time as me. In short, I do not recommend it at all.

I will never go back! It is a structure quite close to the port, public parking is not always available. Non-existent reception, and rude phone contact. The room does not match the photos, but the worst thing is the bathroom, uncomfortable, tiny and I would say dilapidated, dirty, which does not appear in the photos! An exaggerated amount for such a dump.

The guest house in a reasonably good location, 10 minutes walk from the city center. The room quite comfortable but the bathroom definitely not: shower worn out by time and dirt, absence of bidet... not in line with the price paid.

The manager of the structure was very kind and helpful during our stay. The double room where we stayed was small but nice, even though the bathroom did not have a bidet and the handheld shower next to the toilet was leaking water, making it impossible to use it for the bidet. Furthermore, the shower tray was in poor condition and it also leaked water, causing some water on the bathroom floor. I would suggest changing the shower and adding some shelves in the bathroom to place bath items, as there is currently no suitable place to put them.

The welcome was deplorable. The room is very poorly soundproofed, I could hear the neighbors, even if very discreet, as if they were in the room. No glass in the bathroom, nor in the room for that matter. Missing a chair to sit on.

Cher Monsieur Votre accueil a été cordial, comme pour tous mes invités, je lui ai expliqué diverses choses sur la région, mais elle a dit qu'elle n'en avait pas besoin car elle a l'habitude de parcourir le monde seule, quant au verre, c'est vrai je je ne suis pas dans la salle de bain, mais il y a un extracteur, mais dans la chambre il y a une belle grande fenêtre, j'ai passé la matinée à la contacter en vain, puisqu'elle n'a pas WhatsApp, ce sont d'autres réseaux sociaux, ce qu'elle m'a dit elle ne voulait pas, la je recommande de vérifier les horaires d'enregistrement, et d'être un peu plus souriante et amicale avec les personnes qui vous accueillent, elle a été désagréable à l'enregistrement, étant également fautive Et hors horaires, j'espère sincèrement qu'au moins vous avez aimé nos fameuses 5 terres..
