The B&B is the fruit of an idea that has recently taken shape: to create a setting where guests are offered every kind of comfort in a colorful and carefree environment, and also a little oasis of peace right in the middle of the Eternal City. The B&B is centrally located, right on Viale Trastevere, but is set within a courtyard so it is quiet and peaceful.
The B&B, which opened in early 2011, has 2 double rooms, both with en-suite bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning and free WIFI Internet connection 24 hours a day. The rooms are furnished with care and elegance, with colors that make them welcoming and relaxing. Upon request, a third bed can be added in each of these rooms.
Room prices include Breakfast, served at a nearby Cafeteria.

The structure is located in the very central neighborhood of Trastevere, a stone's throw from Rome's main tourist attractions, such as the Colosseum, Vittoriano, Pantheon, Tiber Island, Circus Maximus, Teatro Marcello, Ghetto, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the historic Porta Portese market, and many others.
We are also very close to the new Regina Margherita hospital and the American University Jhon Cabot.

The property is a good choice if you want to save some money on your accommodation while in Rome. It is a few steps away from Trastevere and a short walk from the city center. The tram and bus stop right in front of the door, so it is very accessible. However, the toilet has a pungent smell, and you are not allowed to shower after 11 pm due to the noise and thin walls. Overall, an acceptable stay due to the location, but it feels a bit "cheap" overall.

The owner was very communicative and helpful with making arrangements for car service during my stay. The location was great. I appreciated the stocked breakfast items. Very clean rooms!

Very good location, extremely kind and helpful owner, very responsive to our requests. A small downside regarding the price compared to the services, there are a few details to review in the comfort of the rooms, slightly outdated bathroom, non-functional shutters in one room... a fresh touch would be appreciated.

We stayed for 4 days and were greeted by Loredana, always very attentive and caring towards us. She didn't let us miss anything! The place is wonderful and close to everything! The room was spacious, clean, and very beautiful! We will definitely return gladly! Thank you very much!

Hi. Very clean and large rooms. Very helpful owners and the only time we had a problem was when we arrived and using the instructions for entry and the keys we had a little problem but Davide, the owner, soon helped. Very friendly and the breakfast was help yourself and there was always plenty of choice in terms of croissants, bread for toasting, cheese, meats, yogurts, tea and coffee, juice and fruit.

Structure with some things to review. We encountered some issues, starting from the poor almost non-existent cleanliness both in the room and in the common areas, sewer odor problems in the bathroom, poor breakfast, small quantities compared to the people present in the structure, we recommend to the managers not to include it in the reservation... Despite this, it is necessary to praise the availability that Mr. Davide had and how he went out of his way to help us solve the problems we encountered...

We had a great time, especially very calm. The bed is comfortable and the room very quiet and spacious. We had read that the breakfast did not have a high score, but we liked it. The bread and sandwiches are from the supermarket, but there is a toaster, dairy products of all kinds, cheeses, sausages, juices, coffee, tea, and jams.

The Zen Trastevere B&B is a lovely and affordable property for anyone visiting Rome. It is clean, friendly, and quiet even though it is located in the hippest neighborhood. I was traveling alone and Davide and his sister were very communicative and accommodating even when I had to change my arrival date twice (for administrative reasons). I will highly recommend it to friends and family coming to Rome! Grazie!

The host was very helpful during the stay. He helped us connect with the airport for a lost luggage, helped us with the transportation from the airport to the B&B. In general, very nice hosts and attentive to all you need. The location is perfect, and the B&B is right what you need for a quiet and clean stay. I will definitely recommend, and if I'm back, I will choose this place again.

Unfortunately, the lack of a bidet in the bathroom and the breakfast with packaged products have significantly lowered the score regarding the quality/price ratio. The contacts with the manager, on the other hand, were excellent.

We loved this b&b. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to all our messages. The room is very large and comfortable and the location is excellent. The bathroom is a bit small but everything else is perfect.

I had requested a reservation at Zen Trastevere, but they accommodated me at Zoe, no problem as they are on the same landing. There is no bidet, which is unusual for us Italians, and there is no TV. As for breakfast during the pandemic, it consists of a voucher for a classic croissant and coffee to be consumed at the bar below, but beware on Sunday morning (on other days I don't know) because it opens at 8, so if you need to leave early, as it happened to me, you will find it closed. CONCLUSION: It would all be fine if it had been communicated, given that there were specific questions.
