Beschreibung

"A Nice Place BB" is located in Mugnano in Teverina, Bomarzo, a town near Viterbo, famous for the Park of monsters, owned by the Orsini family. It is approximately 90 km from the Centre of Rome, take the A1 towards Florence, exit Attigliano.

It is reachable with trains departing from Termini every two hours, is visible on a hill dominating the Tiber Valley.

Mugnano is Etruscan settlement and remained unchanged during the time. It offers peace and relaxation with extensive hiking opportunities nearby.

Our hotel is at the Centre of the town, consists of an apartment on 2 floors and have 3 bedrooms, one with three beds and two with 2 single beds. Each room is furnished with a small table to organize your documents, a double wardrobe doors to order his own suitcase. Shared bathroom on the floor. The apartment also has a kitchen with all amenities.

Breakfast is served downstairs every morning.

Mugnano is an ideal place for holidays of relaxation and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of Metropolitan life, immersed in a territory rich of charm where there are sights and initiatives to discover this fantastic region, the "Tuscia".

Zone Zentrum

Mugnano in Teverina is a hamlet of Bomarzo, a town in the Viterbo area, where the famous Park of Monsters was built on the Orsini's property. Mugnano is clearly visible on a hill overlooking the Tiber valley.

The village originated as an Etruscan settlement and has remained unchanged over time. It offers tranquility and relaxation with ample opportunities for nearby excursions.

Starting from Bomarzo, guided tours of the Orsini Palace, now the Town Hall, and the Park of Monsters are a must. Vinicio Orsini, between 1552 and 1580, had numerous statues carved in peperino and then created a splendid "Italian-style Garden" around them.

Beyond the Monte Casoli reserve, rich in flora and fauna, is the historic city of Viterbo, with its famous medieval district of San Pellegrino and its Papal Palace. And speaking of Popes, a visit to the famous Terme di Viterbo is a must.

In Bagnaia, there is the famous Villa Lante, a 16th-century Italian masterpiece, surrounded by a magnificent and large park where various fountains offer water displays reproducing spectacular geometries among evergreen hedges and peperino statues.

Soriano nel Cimino also offers the opportunity for beautiful walks or picnics in its evocative beech forest.

Other famous destinations within a thirty-kilometer radius include Orvieto with its magnificent Cathedral, Terni with the famous Marmore Falls, Civita di Bagnoregio ("the dying town"), Orte with its sulfurous thermal baths, and let's not forget the Alviano Nature Reserve.

The place is not only lovely but also very welcoming, quiet and homely, in the heart of the ancient Etruscan village. Anna Rita is always attentive to ensure that guests feel comfortable. The location is strategic and many sites of archaeological, artistic and cultural interest can be reached in the Viterbo area of Tuscia (Bomarzo, Viterbo, Bagnaia, Vitorchiano) and in neighboring Umbria (Attigliano, Giove, Amelia). Perfect for days of rest and cultural enrichment.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at this B&B. It is spacious and cozy, the uploaded photos do not do justice to the beauty of the rooms, not to mention the fantastic management. We only slept here for one night, a refreshing sleep after several days of continuous travel through the various villages of Umbria. We really could not have made a better choice. Mugnano in Teverina is a tiny village with an incredible history behind it, perfect for visiting the surrounding villages, especially the well-known Bomarzo. I recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

You find yourself in a place immersed in history, a stone's throw from the motorway exit. The parking is very convenient and equipped with all the comforts provided by the kind landlady. There are internal stairs and many places to visit.

It is not "A Nice Place", it is a delightful place! It seems suspended in another era. And the hostess is delightful. It will feel like being at home but in total relaxation. The location is excellent for visiting the villages in the surroundings but especially for unplugging. If you are stressed, go there immediately, you will return rejuvenated!

Heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Anna who welcomed and satisfied all our requests; her bed and breakfast has the best quality-price ratio among those we booked, particularly recommended for those like us traveling with young children. The location is strategic both for visiting the beauties of Viterbo and for venturing towards Tuscany or Umbria. At night, you sleep wonderfully. It was a magical Christmas!

We stopped halfway through our holidays. Calabria is far, so we made a stop in Viterbese, in Mugnano in Teverina, a dilapidated village on a hill with breathtaking views, close to the highway. Nearby is the sacred wood of Bomarzo, also known as 'park of monsters', commissioned in 1500 by Prince Orsini. A stone's throw away, you can admire Lake Vico. The climate is warm but bearable. In the B&B, you enjoy a nice coolness because it is a delightful little house in this medieval village, consisting of period houses with thick walls. The sections still in tuff alternate with modern elements. Despite the excessively high temperatures all over Italy, reaching peaks of 45 degrees, here it's really nice. In the evening, a light jacket would be needed and in the morning an unusual cooling mist makes you almost want to stay, reach the final destination after a few days and extend the holidays. Mrs. Anna, the owner, is wonderful. Hers is an old-fashioned kindness, a very reliable, nice and big-hearted person. At 6 everything was already ready for breakfast, but she would have woken up even earlier if we had asked. It will be a pleasure to be welcomed by her again on our return, when the holidays are over and we will have to retrace our steps to go back home or to work. Highly recommended.

Really a nice place, very well-kept in everything, in an ancient building but recently renovated and right in the center of the town, which is very small and quiet. With my family, we rented all the rooms in the house, but Mrs. Anna Rita still wanted to come and prepare breakfast for us every day, stopping to chat with us. Really very kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back.

Together with my boyfriend, we stayed at the B&B Un Posto Carino for one night with the purpose of visiting the Bomarzo park, which is a 5-minute drive away. The host welcomed us lovingly and made us feel at home. The B&B is located in an ancient village with few inhabitants who gather in the town square in the evening to chat and play ping pong; there is an atmosphere of tradition and familiarity. The structure has been renovated but does not lose its historical charm, rich in fireplaces and various objects passed down through generations. In the morning, we were pampered with a homemade breakfast. I can only recommend a similar stay.

The warmth, kindness, generosity, and availability of Mrs. Anna welcomed us to this fantastic property in the center of a medieval village populated by about a hundred souls. A leap into the past where people leave the front door wide open and in the evening, they enjoy playing cards outdoors in the village streets. An enchanted place, beautiful in a jewel of a village, immersed in the silence and the song of nature. In a warm and welcoming 700 structure, there are delightful rooms, kindness and hospitality, availability, everything very well equipped and cared for in every detail. Convenient for visiting historical and archaeological beauties. In 10 minutes there are also trains, a very nice and fabulous place. Seeing is believing.

The owners, Roberto and Annarita, are welcoming people, inclined to dialogue but above all prepared and available to provide explanations, references, and useful information to discover the countless beauties of the surroundings. Breakfast is plentiful, varied, and caters to all tastes (try the exquisite tart made by Mrs. Annarita). Not to be underestimated is the excellent quality-price ratio. The name of the Bed and Breakfast perfectly reflects all its characteristics, it is truly 'A Cute Place', close to the Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo which is not the only attraction in the area; Bomarzo itself was a wonderful discovery as well as the little village that hosts the structure. Mrs. Annarita, very welcoming and caring, recommended us places to visit in the surroundings. Having stayed for a few days, we truly experienced the life of the village and its few inhabitants who, during the summer, organize shows and dinners with typical products of Tuscia in the small square. Close to the park of monsters in Bomarzo, immersed in a atmosphere of other times, this Bed and Breakfast was a nice discovery. The village is very small and Annarita will welcome you with open arms in her 18th century palace that will soon be enriched with more rooms and services. The room was very spacious and at night silence reigns. The breakfast is adequate for the price of the stay. Highly recommended.

"A Cute Place" is actually a wonderful accommodation in Mugnano in Teverina. We ended up there because we were attracted by the Monsters Park in Bomarzo, but the real surprise was the small village where the B&B that hosted us is located. It's a tiny village on top of a small hill, among whose inhabitants you can breathe an air of familiarity that can only infect the tourist who happens to be there even for just one night.\n\nThe owner of the accommodation is a very welcoming and nice lady, who did everything to make us feel comfortable and pampered. The rooms are very clean and quiet, and we slept comfortably too, as we are very demanding in this respect.\n\nIn short, highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate. If we have the opportunity, we will return!
