"A Nice Place BB" is located in Mugnano in Teverina, Bomarzo, a town near Viterbo, famous for the Park of monsters, owned by the Orsini family. It is approximately 90 km from the Centre of Rome, take the A1 towards Florence, exit Attigliano.
It is reachable with trains departing from Termini every two hours, is visible on a hill dominating the Tiber Valley.
Mugnano is Etruscan settlement and remained unchanged during the time. It offers peace and relaxation with extensive hiking opportunities nearby.
Our hotel is at the Centre of the town, consists of an apartment on 2 floors and have 3 bedrooms, one with three beds and two with 2 single beds. Each room is furnished with a small table to organize your documents, a double wardrobe doors to order his own suitcase. Shared bathroom on the floor. The apartment also has a kitchen with all amenities.
Breakfast is served downstairs every morning.

Mugnano in Teverina is a hamlet of Bomarzo, a town in the Viterbo area, where the famous Park of Monsters was built on the Orsini's property. Mugnano is clearly visible on a hill overlooking the Tiber valley.
The village originated as an Etruscan settlement and has remained unchanged over time. It offers tranquility and relaxation with ample opportunities for nearby excursions.
Starting from Bomarzo, guided tours of the Orsini Palace, now the Town Hall, and the Park of Monsters are a must. Vinicio Orsini, between 1552 and 1580, had numerous statues carved in peperino and then created a splendid "Italian-style Garden" around them.
Beyond the Monte Casoli reserve, rich in flora and fauna, is the historic city of Viterbo, with its famous medieval district of San Pellegrino and its Papal Palace. And speaking of Popes, a visit to the famous Terme di Viterbo is a must.
In Bagnaia, there is the famous Villa Lante, a 16th-century Italian masterpiece, surrounded by a magnificent and large park where various fountains offer water displays reproducing spectacular geometries among evergreen hedges and peperino statues.
Soriano nel Cimino also offers the opportunity for beautiful walks or picnics in its evocative beech forest.

Heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Anna who welcomed and satisfied all our requests; her bed and breakfast has the best quality-price ratio among those we booked, particularly recommended for those like us traveling with young children. The location is strategic both for visiting the beauties of Viterbo and for venturing towards Tuscany or Umbria. At night, you sleep wonderfully. It was a magical Christmas!

We stopped halfway through our holidays. Calabria is far, so we made a stop in Viterbese, in Mugnano in Teverina, a dilapidated village on a hill with breathtaking views, close to the highway. Nearby is the sacred wood of Bomarzo, also known as 'park of monsters', commissioned in 1500 by Prince Orsini. A stone's throw away, you can admire Lake Vico. The climate is warm but bearable. In the B&B, you enjoy a nice coolness because it is a delightful little house in this medieval village, consisting of period houses with thick walls. The sections still in tuff alternate with modern elements. Despite the excessively high temperatures all over Italy, reaching peaks of 45 degrees, here it's really nice. In the evening, a light jacket would be needed and in the morning an unusual cooling mist makes you almost want to stay, reach the final destination after a few days and extend the holidays. Mrs. Anna, the owner, is wonderful. Hers is an old-fashioned kindness, a very reliable, nice and big-hearted person. At 6 everything was already ready for breakfast, but she would have woken up even earlier if we had asked. It will be a pleasure to be welcomed by her again on our return, when the holidays are over and we will have to retrace our steps to go back home or to work. Highly recommended.

Really a nice place, very well-kept in everything, in an ancient building but recently renovated and right in the center of the town, which is very small and quiet. With my family, we rented all the rooms in the house, but Mrs. Anna Rita still wanted to come and prepare breakfast for us every day, stopping to chat with us. Really very kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back.

Mugnano in Teverina is a village that is impossible not to fall in love with, and the owner of this house is extremely courteous. The room is beautiful, tidy, and clean. A rare tranquility is breathed here. The Bomarzo forest can be reached in a few minutes by car.

Together with my boyfriend, we stayed at the B&B Un Posto Carino for one night with the purpose of visiting the Bomarzo park, which is a 5-minute drive away. The host welcomed us lovingly and made us feel at home. The B&B is located in an ancient village with few inhabitants who gather in the town square in the evening to chat and play ping pong; there is an atmosphere of tradition and familiarity. The structure has been renovated but does not lose its historical charm, rich in fireplaces and various objects passed down through generations. In the morning, we were pampered with a homemade breakfast. I can only recommend a similar stay.

The warmth, kindness, generosity, and availability of Mrs. Anna welcomed us to this fantastic property in the center of a medieval village populated by about a hundred souls. A leap into the past where people leave the front door wide open and in the evening, they enjoy playing cards outdoors in the village streets. Excellent location of the B&B, quality and elegance in furnishings, cleanliness, comfort, and privacy. Abundant breakfast, flexibility with schedules, super fair cost, and what else to say? We stayed for two nights at this beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the village of Mugnano, a short walk from Bomarzo. Spacious room and bathroom furnished with taste and equipped with all the comforts (Wi-Fi, towels, hair dryer, etc.). The welcome, cleanliness and hospitality were excellent.

Un posto incantato, bellissimo in una bomboniera di paese, immersi nel silenzio e nel canto della natura. In una struttura del 700 calda accogliente, ci sono le stanze deliziose, gentilezza e accoglienza, disponibilità, tutto molto attrezzato e curato in ogni dettaglio.
Comodo negli spostamenti per visitare le bellezze storiche e archeologiche. 10 minuti ci sono anche i treni, un posto molto carino e favoloso. Provare per credere.

Questo delizioso B&B è stato una piacevolissima sorpresa! Perfetto per un week-end lontano dai ritmi frenetici delle vita di città, coniuga perfettamente tranquillità e comfort in uno stile country che ti fa sentire subito a casa. È situato in un luogo appartato ma al contempo strategico, in quanto consente di intraprendere, agevolmente, vari itinerari.
I proprietari, Roberto e Annarita sono persone accoglienti, inclini al dialogo ma soprattutto preparati e disponibili a fornire spiegazioni, riferimenti e nozioni utili per scoprire le innumerevoli bellezze dei dintorni.
Le stanze sono luminose, silenziose e arredate con gusto; la zona living e la cucina spaziose e dotate dei principali confort.
La colazione è abbondante, varia, per tutti i gusti (da provare la squisita crostata della signora Annarita).
Da non sottovalutare il rapporto qualità-prezzo che è eccellente.
Insomma è "un posto carino" in cui ritornare e che si ricorda con un pizzico di malinconia.

Più che carino! Veramente un B&B delizioso incastonato tra le bellezze viterbesi. I gestori persone veramente squisite nulla da eccepire. Colazione standard ma abbondante. Il nome del Bed and Breakfast rispecchia perfettamente tutte sue le caratteristiche, è veramente "Un posto carino"; vicino al parco dei mostri di Bomarzo che non è l'unica attrazione presente nella zona; Bomarzo stesso è stata una bellissima scoperta così come il paesino che ospita la struttura. La signora Annarita molto accogliente e premurosa ci ha consigliato i posti da visitare nei dintorni. Avendo soggiornato per alcuni giorni abbiamo vissuto veramente la vita del paese e dei suoi pochi abitanti che durante il periodo estivo organizzano spettacoli e cene con prodotti tipici della Tuscia nella piccola piazza. Un posto dove ritornare molto volentieri. Consigliato vivamente.

Vicino al parco dei mostri di Bomarzo, immerso in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi, questo Bed and Breakfast è stato una bella scoperta. Il paesino è molto piccolo e Annarita vi accoglierà a braccia aperte nel suo palazzo del '700 che a breve sarà arricchito con più stanze e servizi. La stanza era molto spaziosa e di notte il silenzio fa da padrone. La colazione è adeguata al prezzo del pernottamento. Consigliato vivamente.

Questo B&B è veramente molto carino, accogliente, sembra di stare a casa propria, ho dormito li solo una notte ma avrei voluto restrarci di più, situato in un paesino pieno di vicoletti e molto curato e caratteristico, abbiamo fatto colazione sul terrazzo è stato molto rilassante soggiornarci, prima o poi ci ritornerò, consigliato!

"Un posto carino" è, in realtà, una stupenda sistemazione a Mugnano in Teverina. Ci siamo capitati perché attratti dal parco dei mostri di Bomarzo, ma la vera sorpresa è stata proprio il borghetto nel quale si trova il B&B che ci ha ospitati. Si tratta di un minuscolo paesino in cima a una piccola altura, tra i cui abitanti si respira un'aria di familiarità che non può che contagiare il turista capitato lì anche solo per una notte.
La proprietaria dell'alloggio è una signora molto accogliente e simpatica, che ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire a nostro agio e coccolati. Le camere sono molto pulite e silenziose e abbiamo dormito comodamente pure noi, che su questo versante siamo molto esigenti.
Insomma, consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia staccare la spina e rigenerarsi. Se ne avremo l'occasione, ci ritorneremo!

Accogliente struttura situata proprio nella piazza di quella che è una magnifica, caratteristica e piccola cittadina immersa nelle colline del centro Italia. Abbiamo soggiornato qui solamente due notti ma la cordialità di Annarita e Roberto è stata squisita. Siamo stati bene e ci hanno dato delle indicazioni per vedere alcuni luoghi meravigliosi.
