Situated in Viale Giulio Cesare 151, from here you can reach every part of Rome in few minutes, in fact, just going out of The Rainbow B&B you will find the entry of the Metro A of Rome.

In less than 15 minutes you can reach Saint Peter's Square!
All ROOMS are equipped with PRIVATE BATHROOM, AIR CONDITIONING - HEATING, TV color, INTERNET WI-FI High-speed CONNECTION 24H (by your laptop), hairdryer.

BREAKFAST: Directly in your Bedroom, provided of fridge where you will find, water, fruit juices, butter and milk, and a microwave where you can heat milk or the water to have a tea. On the table you will find croissants, sweet snacks, sweet crackers, jams and tea.

The property is a stone's throw from St. Peter's Basilica and two metres from the Ottaviano metro stop. Quiet room and comfortable beds. We took the green room: the size was by far above average. The sheets and towels were soft and pleasantly scented. The room was tidied in the morning despite our two-day stay. The included breakfast, which was good, was enjoyed in a very nice bar a few steps from the property. I highly recommend it.

Excellent location, a bit difficult to find initially. Metro access is ten steps from the building door. Lots of restaurants close by. Easy walk to the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Breakfast is provided by a café down the block with a voucher (also excellent). Very clean and comfortable with a lift after six steps (not wheelchair accessible). Other guests can be distracting if not quiet, at least while entering or leaving. I never met the host, but they were very accessible and helpful via WhatsApp only. Only one set of keys was provided, which made splitting up for business challenging. This might be resolved with prior coordination with the host. It's on my shortlist of places to stay next time in Rome.

Overall everything was okay. It's a pity about some small defects of our orange room: the entrance door did not open completely because it hit the bed; the bed, on the left side, was only a few centimeters from the bathroom wall and therefore it was practically impossible to walk through that tiny space, the left side obviously without a bedside table or any other place to put things; finally we suffered from the lack of direct air from the window because the bathroom between it and the bed blocks the airflow. Aside from these inconveniences, everything else was wonderful: the location, the breakfast at the bar, the proximity to services. The kindness of Mrs. Michela, owner of the B&B, who always assisted us also via WhatsApp, from booking to our departure. Overall, a location in the center of Rome very close to St. Peter's which I recommend.

The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired. The room was not equipped with all the amenities listed in the description (there was no mirror in the bathroom, an adequate number of towels, etc.). The luggage storage is not recommended, as there is no designated area, but it is said to leave them unattended at the entrance, where staff and guests have free access. The breakfast, served via a coupon redeemable at a bar, was only provided once (the nights were two). The value for money, aside from the advantage of the location of the property near the Vatican, turns out to be disadvantageous for short stays.

I spent a couple of nights in this delightful B&B and I couldn't have made a better choice! The location is perfect for those who want to explore Rome on foot: just a stone's throw from St. Peter's and the Ottaviano metro station. The room was spotless, carefully decorated, and truly welcoming, with everything needed to feel at home. The breakfast with a voucher at the nearby bar was greatly appreciated. A special thanks to the owner, who was very kind and always available for any eventuality. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a corner of tranquility and warmth in the wonderful chaos of Rome. I will definitely return!

As far as I'm concerned, it wasn't a good stay. I found the bed very uncomfortable, you sank in due to wear. There wasn't a hygienic mattress cover, just the sheet directly on the mattress. The pillowcase was yellowed and seemed dirty, I had to put a towel on it to sleep. After my request, it was changed the next day. I didn't find even a bottle of water, there was a refrigerator in the room but it was unplugged, a tray with two glasses but zero water. Moreover, the soap wasn't sufficient, there was a small sachet per head that was enough for half a shower a day, I had to buy that too. I think the only positive thing was the location, exactly at the exit of the Ottaviano metro, a beautiful street just steps from the Vatican.

I stayed at this property for a weekend. The location is excellent, right in front of the Ottaviano metro station. The building is a bit dated, but the environment is quiet. The assigned room (green) doesn't have a beautiful design, but it is very spacious and has a very large and comfortable bathroom, even with two sinks and a very spacious shower. There was also a small fridge and a microwave in the room. The cleanliness is good. Breakfast is provided at a nearby bar through vouchers. The breakfast with croissant and cappuccino was satisfactory. In the common areas of the B&B, there is also a coffee machine. The only slightly negative note is the organization of the common areas, which were a bit confusing due to the presence of some boxes at the entrance and in the hallway, which were there throughout the stay. Michela is very kind and always available.

Excellent location to visit the Vatican and take buses and the metro to go anywhere. The manager is available and friendly. The structure is suitable for tourists interested in spending the night. There are several options for dining or having lunch in the surroundings. Free Acea water dispenser in front of the entrance. Coffee machine available for guests in the corridor. Microwave and refrigerator in the room.

The location is excellent! The manager is available by phone. Unfortunately, the mattress (not the bed) is almost broken and the heating is absent. But for the price, location, and safety of the environment, the shower and cleaning are good. I recommend it if the heating or air conditioning works.

The strong point of this B&B is definitely the location. Exiting the door, the metro A is 3 meters away! The area is very well served, there are shops of all kinds and many little restaurants to discover nearby. Beware of those with Bangla or Paki outside, seek the true Rome with Roman owners. I did not see the owner but she responded quickly to my WhatsApp messages. The room I used, the yellow one, is quiet and has all the necessary comforts. A hair on the floor can happen, but I do not have problems with that. I thank Michela and hope to return here in the future.

The Rainbow B&B is located in an optimal position to reach the various points of interest with the metro. The metro stop is right next to The Rainbow B&B entrance. Michela, the owner, very kind and helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out.

This is a great place to stay if you want to save money and explore Rome instead of staying inside a hotel room. The building is located directly above the Ottaviano Metro stop in the Prati neighborhood, minutes away from many major attractions. Despite the proximity of the metro, there were no noise issues at night (I stayed in the Green Room). The room was clean, spacious, and I felt comfortable on the property. Breakfast is served at a bar on the street (it was a bit confusing because there are a few bars with similar names on the street, even though the host provided directions, I still got confused in practice), so you should feel comfortable leaving the property, ordering your own breakfast, etc. This meant that breakfast was fresh, but the options were limited to what the bar had arranged with the B&B. I was happy with a cappuccino and a croissant, but if you have different expectations, you should communicate that with the host before your stay. I was also pleased to be able to do self check-in, and I actually never saw the host (although we communicated easily via text), so if you need or want extra attention for any reason, you should also communicate that in advance. It's a great place to stay if you want easy access to all of Rome and if you like the ability to come and go as you please. As a solo female traveler, I felt super safe, clean, and comfortable in this space. The price is excellent and I would absolutely stay here again.

The position is very convenient: above the metro station, 10 minutes walk from the Vatican, several bars, restaurants, and shops in the narrow vicinity. The quadruple room is very spacious and the bathroom huge. The breakfast in a bar on the street is good even if not abundant. All at a great price.

Two nights at The Rainbow B&B. Excellent choice, great value for money. Michela very kind, polite, and helpful for any request or help. Excellent location right at Ottaviano stop. Clean structure, (orange) room essential but equipped with every comfort and above all clean. Possibility to have coffee at any time thanks to the coffee machine and capsules in the hallway. We will recommend it to friends and family and I recommend it to anyone reading the review. When we return to Rome it will be our choice. Thank you for everything.

The location is great for the Vatican and St. Peter's, if you want to visit the Colosseum you can walk there, but if not the metro is right outside. The manager is lovely and helpful.

At the time of booking, the green room was agreed upon, but instead we were given the orange room, very small, exposed in a dark and dilapidated inner courtyard. Breakfast is available at the bar under The Rainbow B&B, but on Sunday 11th it was closed, so we contacted the manager Michela who wrote to us (did not answer the phone) to go to another bar at her expense. This bar was also shabby and run by very rude people. In short, an experience not to be repeated. Finally, since we had to leave on the evening of Sunday 11th, it was necessary to leave our luggage in the structure, but there was not even a small room available and we were advised to leave them in the corridor. An extra bathroom was missing, which is usually present in all facilities.

La invito in ogni caso a ricontrollare la sua prenotazione, troverà scritto appunto "stanza arancione"; la stanza verde non risulta più prenotabile da almeno un anno. Per quanto riguarda i servizi al check out come avrà notato, ha prenotato in un B&B che è appunto in un appartamento, ed avrà anche notato che non c'è lo spazio fisico per un bagno di servizio, ma sono certa che la prossima volta, per qualche centinaia di euro in più, in un hotel, troverà un concierge h24, uno stanzino per i bagagli ed un bagno di servizio a sua disposizione!

I loved this property. It is on a main thoroughfare in Rome but positioned so there is no street noise. It is directly in front of the metro, which was fantastic. The room was large with a fridge, table and chairs, microwave, and a private bathroom with a great shower. And it has AC! The bed was very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. A voucher was given for pastry and coffee at the establishment next door. Many restaurants close by and a very reasonably priced grocery store 1 minute walk away. And the price is right. I would stay here again and will recommend it to friends!

I found 'The Rainbow' B&B to be an excellent Bed and Breakfast. In addition to its enviable location near the Vatican and in front of Ottaviano metro station, it is clean, with a TV, bathroom, fridge, and air conditioning in the room, a bed and a pillow that promote sleep. The owner is polite and helpful. If I have to make a point: it is true that the traffic noises don't reach from the street, as the B&B overlooks the courtyard, but the fridge is noisy and next to the windows perhaps the external units of the air conditioners can be annoying for those with light sleep. In conclusion, my judgment is good and, having to return to Rome another time, I will definitely consider it as a reference point.
