Description

Stairs of Trastevere, part of the Roma Trastevere Holidays group, has been offering hospitality for more than ten years, and is located in Trastevere in the historic center of Rome.

It consists of 4 large rooms with private bathrooms. They are equipped with every comfort, unlimited and free wifi, air conditioning, LCD TV.

The structure adjacent to the Trastevere station, is well connected by public transport. Right in front of the building there are tram and bus stops that in a few minutes reach Via Veneto, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, San Pietro, Colosseum, Circus Maximus and every area of ??historical interest.

On foot you can reach in a few minutes all the alleys of Trastevere famous throughout the world for the most typical restaurants of Roman and Italian cuisine, numerous clubs, a point of attraction for all young people, and walk along the Tiber where at night you can see all the wonderful and unique lights of Rome.

A few meters away there are bars, pizzerias, hairdressers, ATMs, chemists, hospital, train station, bus and tram stops, pubs, ice cream parlors, household goods, hardware stores, supermarkets, laundries, internet points and ticket offices.

Area Trastevere

Stairs of Trastevere is located in the historic center.

Leonardo da Vinci airport in Fiumicino is about 24 km away, with the possibility of a private transfer service (at any time, any train station or airport); the Lido di Ostia beach is about 22 km away.

The property is well connected to public transport as less than 20 meters away there is the bus stop, the tram (also at night), and about 100 meters away there is the Trastevere train station; the nearest metro station is the Piramide terminus (reachable in 5 minutes with the aforementioned means of transport), an interchange point with the metro line B and the line towards Ostia.

In addition, about 300 meters away there is the San Camillo hospital; the closest historical point to visit is the wonderful Santa Maria in Trastevere, although other historical sites such as the Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Via del Corso, Fori Imperiali are easily reachable in a short time from the structure.

Around and in the neighborhood there are numerous bars, restaurants, pharmacies, ATMs, supermarkets, bakeries etc.

The place is really convenient and also very clean. The train station is a 2-minute walk away and from there you can easily reach any part of Rome by stopping at either Ostiense (Metro B) or Tuscolana (Metro A) paying only €1.

Charming B&B. Comfortable bed room, air-conditioned and brand new bathroom. Very quiet area with many cafes and restaurants just outside the building. Well served by public transport, but you can reach the heart of Trastevere on foot. We will definitely come back.

Apartment located on the third floor of a condominium on a rather busy street and therefore a bit noisy, like the bathroom fans and, in general, thin walls with noisy neighbors. Daily cleaning. Unfortunately, the beds are not very comfortable and definitely need to be replaced, outdated and with protruding springs. Overall, the price-quality ratio is good, but with some adjustments it could really become very good. The manager is very kind and helpful.

The structure is comfortable, in a good position for getting around the city, and the cleanliness is excellent. The room is spacious and well-maintained, the bathroom is new, and the manager is kind and helpful. The self-check-in solution is excellent. The structure has a kitchenette and complete equipment for the autonomous management of breakfast (not included, but the manager kindly provides coffee, tea, herbal teas, coffee machine, kettle, dishes, etc.). Recommended also considering the quality-price ratio. Trastevere avenue is busy, but the new windows isolate well from noise, and one can rest peacefully. The building is a bit dated but clean and quiet.

The room is located in an apartment on the 3rd floor of a building. The apartment consists of a shared kitchen and several double rooms with private bathroom. Cleaning is done every day by dedicated staff. Good location 2 minutes from the Trastevere station on foot and not far from the bus and tram either, quite practical for moving around. Apartment next to shops, restaurants, and pastry shops. The only downside of the room is the defective insulation, you can hear the noises from the other adjacent rooms/apartments and the noise from the street, which is complicated for my sleep personally. Insulation needs to be reviewed otherwise the rest was great.

For short stays, the environment is very pleasant and welcoming, with a common area equipped with tables and chairs and useful services (dishes, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, microwave). The room is comfortable and has pleasant furnishings (room number 1 overlooks the interior, so it is quiet). The minimal issue is the toilet flush that sometimes "gets stuck" and the window of the room that overlooks a terrace accessible from the common kitchen. The owner is very helpful and kind. I would return for the quality-price ratio.

We had a great stay, the apartment is close to the tram and bus station which takes you to the center of Rome in about 15 minutes. We also parked the car in the free parking below the apartment, so very convenient. If you arrive by train, the station is a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is very clean and equipped with essentials, the manager is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful structure, well connected just a few meters from Trastevere station, excellent for reaching the airport. The line 8 passes 50 meters from the structure and terminates at Piazza Venezia, from there you can move around Rome reaching various points of the city. Extremely clean property, Gioia, the cleaning lady, is very friendly, kind, precise, and clean. Valerio, the host, is kind and available for any need. Highly recommended.

We spent one night here, everything went well. The managers have several apartments in the area, the one we stayed in seemed new and was all clean - we only had a small problem with the door handle but nothing major, in fact the owner who accompanied us immediately told us about the defect and was super helpful and kind. We checked out an hour late without any penalty, they even offered to let us leave our luggage. The apartment also has a shared kitchen that we didn't use but seemed ok. Location is also good and served by the Trastevere station and the tram that goes to Piazza Venezia, very convenient for returning in the evening. Unless you need to stay right in the center-center, I absolutely recommend it! For the quality-price ratio, you won't find better in Rome. Thank you for the stay!

The pictures on the website and the ones of the chosen room do not match the room assigned to me. The room was in a different building from the one advertised. The bathroom was not in the room, although private. It was also very small. For all this, patience, given the basic price. The person who opened the door for us and gave us the keys was very kind and helpful. Possibility to arrive before check-in and to deposit luggage beyond check-out. Functional WIFI. Kitchen well supplied with materials. Clean linens. However, I do not compromise on the cleanliness of the bathroom: dirty and full of limescale shower, dirty floor.

Very kind host! He explained to us how to get there, he printed our boarding passes and he was very helpful. Clean room and bathroom. Tram number 8 took us everywhere. Trastevere train station was nearby. Easy to get to Termini and the Vatican. The only thing we were not satisfied about was the breakfast, but we are used to those kinds of breakfasts in Italy. I would recommend this place. It's cheap, good and the location is also good.

The B&B Stairs of Trastevere is located in a very convenient position for San Camillo Hospital and easily accessible by public transport to reach Piazza Venezia and be in the city center in about 15 minutes. Valerio and Camelia were very helpful from the moment of booking. The bathroom was not in the room, as requested during booking, but still private. The room is, all in all, quiet; it is necessary to adapt in case of other guests returning and having dinner at the structure. The breakfast is sufficient. I suggest providing a small pot to heat the milk. Excellent experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the city! The value for money is great.

Very close to the Stairs of Trastevere Station and easily reachable. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast available only from 8.30 to 10, not suitable for my work needs. Very friendly owner.

We stopped at this B&B on our way to Sicily. We stayed for 2 nights. We don't have any complaints, everything is as described, everything works as it should. On the day of our arrival, Valerio kindly waited for us (we were a bit late) and was kind enough to help us with parking and luggage, as well as providing some tips for our quick visit to Rome. Definitely our top choice for the next visit to Rome.

B&B in the area of Stazione Trastevere, easily reachable by public transport and with a couple of really good bars/pizzerias in the area. Very positive overall, we have just been here but I admit I plan to return soon. Highly recommended.

My experience at this bed and breakfast was completely positive. The room and bathroom were very clean, and all three managers were kind, helpful, and nice. The structure was spacious and very nice, with a very convenient location coming from the Trastevere train station (about 200 meters), and it was not a big problem reaching the various attractions thanks to public transport. The breakfast was also good. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
