SanGiò Guest House is a guesthouse located at 60 Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano, on the first floor of an elegant building. It is situated opposite Rome's cathedral, the beautiful Basilica of San Giovanni, overlooking the Lateran Obelisk square, in the heart of central Rome. This is a strategic position for anyone who wants to explore the city with ease.
The property is very close to two stops on the Rome Metro Line A: San Giovanni or Manzoni. This allows you to reach all parts of the city quickly and conveniently, making it an ideal base for visiting Rome.
The Guest House has 7 rooms, all with private bathrooms, designed to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. The common area is bright and inviting, offering a pleasant atmosphere to start your day. Here you can socialize while enjoying a delicious coffee. Guests can also use a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine, all available in the common area at any time.
Self-check-in is available from 3: 00 PM onwards using a numerical code that will be sent the day before your arrival. If you plan to arrive before 3: 00 PM, you can use the code to access the common area to leave your luggage and start exploring the city, but please do not take the room key yet.
Check-out is at 10: 00 AM. Guests must leave their keys in the same box where they retrieved them upon arrival. If needed, you can leave your luggage in the common area.
Bags can be picked up at any time using the same access code. However, please do not re-enter the rooms, as they will be prepared and sanitized for new guests. The property is not a custodian of luggage and is therefore not responsible for it.

Excellent room, clean and functional. Spectacular location, perfect bathroom: however, the showerhead emitted little water (probably due to limescale) and therefore it took a while to get hot. This is not meant as a criticism but just a very small suggestion for an otherwise top stay.

The apartment complex is well located, but as a result it is on a very busy and noisy junction and on an ambulance route where sirens are often sounding. The flat needs new external shutters and ideally new double-glazed windows. Otherwise, it is a very good option. It was clean and the communal areas were well stocked.

Room with a clean bathroom and a view over Piazza Giovanni in Laterano in Rome. You could not be more central. The only flaw is the poorly maintained building. The apartment and the room are clean, and the bathroom is large. Maybe a fresh coat of paint on the walls would be ideal! Clearly you are on a main street and close to a hospital; traffic and ambulances can be heard, so you need to be tolerant if you want an apartment with such a view.

We stayed as two people for three nights in the "Economy" room, where the bare minimum was missing. The experience was negative: we could not rest because of street noise due to uninsulated windows. I gave a 4 to the structure because it is very noisy due to its location next to a very busy intersection frequented by cars and buses, especially ambulances that pass very often with sirens. Then I discovered that it is very close to a hospital. Personally, I do not think that I will be able to use this structure in the future.

There was little clarity regarding the price at the time of booking. A room that was advertised at 69 euros cost us 85 euros plus accommodation fees. The bathroom had no bidet, was cold, and there was no possibility of heating it. On the second day, cleaning was not done. We did not have the pleasure of seeing the manager of the establishment. The breakfast included packaged snacks.

Staff is kind and very helpful. It is possible to leave the luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast is available at any time with toasted bread, croissants, jam, hazelnut spread, milk, fruit juices, coffee, herbal teas, and cereals, which were actually not replenished. Convenient location with a bus stop at the entrance of the B&B and a metro stop a few minutes away on foot.

I stayed at this property for only one night but I would have gladly stayed longer! The room is small, as clearly visible when booking, but it's really equipped with everything including a full-length mirror, which I particularly appreciate. The bathroom is spacious with a very large shower and bidet. The cleanliness is impeccable. The location is fantastic, you can get around without needing transportation!

Strategic location for visiting Rome. Spacious and clean Superior room. The only downside is the excessive noise (however already communicated by the manager during booking). Organization and availability of the manager EXCELLENT. Very convenient the 24-hour availability of coffee, herbal teas, water, etc. Strategic point: about 1 km from Termini station and about 900 m from the Colosseum. During the stay, I never used any means of transport.

Excellent location, we stayed for a Day Hospital at the Britannico and it's really a 10-minute walk. With a view of Piazza San Giovanni, the room and the structure are very welcoming. Owners are truly organized, as if we were at our own home. Top.
