Guided by their father's experience as the director of major hotels in the capital and as the president of A.I.R.A., the Italian Association of Hotel Employees, Italo Altieri has had experiences in large hotels, especially in the dining and bar services. They even managed a famous brewery in the center of Rome together for about 10 years.

We booked this room on behalf of a traveller who came to a meeting at FAO. A last minute booking since everything was fully booked in the area. The traveller informed us that the guesthouse is very nice (quiet, safe, near to FAO, daily cleaning room, etc.) except that the internet connection was not working the first days but the issue was fixed and therefore it was all fine afterwards. When I called the structure, Mr. Italo was very nice and gentle, he assured the booking for our traveller and even followed up with us as we got closer to the day of arrival. We are very satisfied and thank Mr. Italo for taking care of our delegate!

Small but cozy and fully equipped structure, close to the metro stop that takes you to the center in a few minutes. We were greeted with a small problem promptly solved by the very kind and helpful managers (we had to arrive very late in the evening and they proved reachable by phone and via WhatsApp at any time). We are very satisfied, when we return to Rome we will definitely consider San Paolo Guest House. Thank you for everything!

B&B located in a great position, being close to the San Paolo metro stop and the main bus stops. Room cleanliness is good, but only liquid hand soap was available (no shower gel). Shower slightly broken. WiFi not working for the entire week of stay. Breakfast is good but could be improved as it consisted mainly of snacks. Friendly and helpful manager.

We had a great time, guest house type structure but very welcoming and very clean. Great value for money. Convenient if you need to reach the Bambin Gesù. Easily reachable and very close to the metro stop. Excellent solution for those who want to leave the car parked.

I found the hotel more than good, quite welcoming, located in an optimal position for my needs, quality/price ratio more than adequate, nothing to complain about the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, quality of the breakfast served in the room satisfying. I would suggest giving more visibility to the entrance, even with a larger sign, as from the main road it is not easy to locate. It was easy to find parking for the car right under the window of the room.

Completely satisfied with the kindness and courtesy of everyone. It is clean and finally one of the few facilities that looks just like it does in the photos, no unpleasant surprises. I will return.
