Description

Surrounded by the green of Mount Cimino, the B&B Pontepietra is the ideal place for a naturalistic, relaxing and cultural holiday. Woods, lakes, Etruscan necropolis, renaissance mansions, health and beauty spas, free hot spring pools are but a few of the activities that will make your stay outstanding.

Pontepietra is a three hectares farmhouse with its land descending towards a brook that streams in the middle of it. Numerous centuries-old oak and chestnut trees make space for an olive tree grove that clambers up the slope facing on the immense Tiber river valley. Big rocks covered up in moss are scattered on the land together with the remains of a 17th century farmhouse put up a very striking picture.

The Pontepietra farmhouse was built in three different stages, growing in size as did the land farming needs. The course of enlargement works turned it into a characteristic rural house with multiple level rooves. The oldest part probably dates back to the 18th century whereas the central unit was built in 1939. In the beginning, they used the ground floor as a shelter for the cattle and there is also a small grotto dug into the live stone which the house is built upon.

The rooms offer a refined and cosy atmosphere. Each room has a different theme to it so that our guests can pick out the one that best matches their idea of a countryside holiday. A refined atmosphere is found also in the common areas so to make your stay even more pleasant. Besides the breakfast room, guests have access to a relax room that includes a motor massage mat.

Hot coffee, milk, tea, brioche, and warm bread. Various flavors of yogurt, cereals, and muesli. Orange juice. Cake, plum cake, or donut-shaped cake. Toast, jams, Nutella, cookies, and packaged snacks. Upon request and for an additional fee of 7 euros, cheese, eggs, and cold cuts.

You can enjoy a comfortable dinner in the living room or, if the weather allows it, in the garden gazebo by requesting home delivery from the restaurants in Soriano that offer this service. We will provide you with dishes, cutlery, and glasses at no extra cost.

Ci Siamo trovati benissimo. Camera spaziosa, materasso di ottima qualita', pulizia e ordine in tutta la struttura. Marco, il proprietario, e' una persona squisita, sempre a disposizione e pronto a dare suggerimenti. Consiglio questa struttura a chi cerca un posto tranquillo, ma nello stesso tempo vicino a tanti luoghi di interesse.

Cordialità e cortesia da parte del gestore. Arredato con gusto. Camere non grandi ma comode. Strutturato di recente. Immerso nel verde. Ottimo per chi cerca relax, ma anche per chi vuole fare trekking o andare alle terme che non sono distanti.

Assieme a quattro amici ho soggiornato per un week end in tre meravigliose stanze elegantemente arredate e con bagno in camera (pulitissimo). Non riesco a trovare le parole adatte per la gentilezza, la cortesia, la disponibilita', la precisione e la simpatia del gestore Marco. Il podere e' luogo ideale per chi ama la natura e la quiete. Ottima location per visitare tutti i luoghi della Tuscia Viterbese. Ottimo il rapporto qualita' / prezzo. L'ideale per chi vuol godersi le bellezze naturali, culturali e gastronomiche. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per due notti a inizio giugno. Ci siamo trovati benissimo: la posizione è strategica perché è ben collegata e allo stesso tempo vi si gode dell'isolamento nella natura; i locali sono curati, puliti e abbastanza comodi; il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo e i gestori Marco e Giordano sanno essere premurosi e cordiali ma al contempo discreti. Consiglio questo B&B a chiunque voglia allontanarsi dallo stress cittadino per godersi le bellezze culturali, paesaggistiche e culinarie di questa splendida e poco conosciuta regione che è la Tuscia. Ci torneremo!
