Description

Piccolotel is a brand new place with natural and modern settings and technological features, where rooms have nothing to envy to a luxury hotel in terms of quality and comfort. Convenient for the airport, the Vatican and the center of Rome.

Each room has very comfortable beds with bed linens of the highest finish and its own bathroom with hairdryer and towels.

In addition to air conditioning, each room has its own refrigerator and safety box, free internet access and a movie library.

24-hour basis, all of our guests have free access to the Lounge, a common room where you can sit and relax, taking advantage of services provided by Piccolotel, such as coffee, fruit juices, milk, a kettle of water to taste our available blends of tea, or the toaster and the microwave to heat food.

Foods provided for breakfast are all sealed as required by Italian law for all Italian B&Bs, such as biscuits and jams, croissants, etc.

Besides giving you tips on how to move in the city, it will be a pleasure to recommend the places to visit with some tips, as well as suggestions for local restaurants suitable for all budgets.

Area Marconi

Piccolotel is a brand new luxury bed and breakfast, completely renovated and hi-tech, located a stone's throw from Trastevere and Testaccio districts.
Trastevere is one of the most characteristic areas of the Eternal City, walking through the irregular streets you can still feel the ancient atmosphere looking at all its craft shops, the churches and restaurants.
In the evening, both Trastevere and Testaccio turn into areas full of night clubs, wine bars, restaurants and lots of live music...
Shopping lovers cannot miss a walk along Viale Marconi, commercial area full of stores just out of Piccolotel...and every Sunday the famous Porta Portese market is full of stalls selling everything: from clothes to shoes, from bags to household utensils, from antiques to the sandwich with 'porchetta'.
Not far from B&B, the historical center, The Vatican City, museums, parks, villas, monuments, all the artistic and natural heritage provided by the Capital.
You can also easily reach the sea of Ostia, or visit its archaeological excavations.

Just for one night, passing through for work. All good, excellent value for money. Definitely in Rome a reference to keep in mind for the future. Alessandro courteous and helpful as well as very clear. The only downside could be the parking which in Vile Marconi is particularly difficult but fortunately there are a couple of solutions a few steps away. I must say that in the evening I "forgot" the car on the street and I had no problems even though it is a particularly "appetizing" car.

A reference point for my Roman stays. Near Trastevere station and the pediatric hospital Bambin Gesù San Paolo Baldelli, or near the basilica San Paolo near the walls. Excellent welcome and impeccable service.

Excellent facility, clean, ultra-modern, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. In a very convenient location, with many shops nearby, well served by public transport and very close to Trastevere station. What about the excellent welcome from the owner, attentive to all the requests/needs of his guests, always available, also gave us very useful advice regarding our stay. Top structure in its kind, on the level of a great hotel. Everything is well-finished and of quality, in addition to technology and good taste. At check-in, the property was very courteous and friendly, as well as helpful in explaining the room and transportation to visit the city. Also appreciated the restaurant suggestions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very quiet, Piccolotel is definitely a Luxury B&B with the difference that the prices are in line with the area's realities.
