Description
Strategically located in the hearth of Rome in between Piazza Navona, the Vatican and the Spanish Steps, also very close to San Angelo's Castle. This confortable Bed and Breakfast, is actually inside an historical building (late 800's) in a fine residential area called Prati.

The quarter has very beutifull historical buildings, ancient cafe's and posh shops. The furniture of the rooms is personally chosen by the owners and has a very nice style, all rooms are different but very much equipped with all conforts: ensuite bathrooms, Tv, safe in the room,
air conditioning, hair dryer, minibar, therefore you will have a nice and tranquil stay.

Very near the Bed and Breakfast there is Piazza Cavour a very stylish square, where you may find all the busses to reach any area of Rome.

Shuttle bus to Rome Fiumicino airport (stops at 50 meters)
Metrò stop of the A line is at only 300 meters.

For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

The area we are in is very central (we are practically behind Castel Sant'Angelo), 500 meters from Via del Corso - and therefore Via Condotti - Piazza di Spagna, no more than a 10-minute walk from Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, and the same amount of time to reach the Vatican City with St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums.

Just 50 meters from Piazza Cavour (Court of Cassation), in the Prati neighborhood.

Located outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL).

The shuttle stop to Rome Fiumicino Airport is only 50 meters away.

Staff is very accessible, polite and nice. The location is perfect as you can reach the main attractions by foot and it is near a square where you can take busses to all regions in Rome and to the airport directly (airport shuttle). Unfortunately the room we stayed needs maintenance (specially the bathroom). Nevertheless considering the price, staff and location I would recommend this guesthouse.

Great location, close to Castel St Angelo and the Vatican, walking to most sites was possible. The SIT bus to the airport was just around the corner. The real highlight were the team at Marta Guest House, who thought of absolutely everything. We definitely would stay there again. Thanks.

Centrally located, easy access with airport bus. Some street noise, and a very small bathroom. But shutters kept out the noise, and aircon. and heating worked well. Breakfast is at a cafe on the square. Lively, and Italian ie. Coffe and croissant. I would go back, and walk trough Rome from there.

Kleine preiswerte Pension in einem alten Palazzo mit echtem roemischen Feeling: antike Moebel, nichts luxuriöses, sondern wunderbare hilfreiche Menschen die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Die Pension ist direkt in Prati in einem Stadtteil mit Flair mittendrin im Geschehen wo auch die Einheimischen zu Hause sind: Shopping, kleine Trattorias, Kinos, Kuenstlercafes,..und all die Touristenattraktionen sind zu Fuss erreichbar: Vatikan, Sixtinische Kapelle, Spanische Treppe, Trevi Brunnen, Piazza Navona, Piazza Popolo, Villa Borghese.. und natürlich das Colosseum. Ich hoffe, dass ich bald wieder nach Rom komme und werde auf jeden Fall wieder im Marta Guesthouse uebernachten.

B&B carino e ben tenuto, situato in un palazzo d'epoca, in una zona tranquilla e comoda, a 10-15 minuti a piedi dal centro, da piazza S. Pietro e dalla stazione della metro. Ovidio, il gestore, molto gentile e disponibile non si è limitato a fornirci informazioni istituzionali ma ci ha dato consigli preziosi su come girare per ottimizzare i nostri giorni di vacanza.

Stanze semplici e spaziose, bagno privato, piano primo in palazzo storico, a 1 minuto a piedi dalla Corte di Cassazione. Affaccia su via a senso unico e, dunque, il rumore notturno del traffico è davvero contenuto, per essere a Roma. Check-in semplicissimo, accoglienza sempre cortese, comunicazione diretta efficace e perfetta. Stanze dotate di tutto il necessario (frigo, asciugacapelli in bagno). Per chi cerca un alloggio semplice e senza particolari pretese di charme.

Struttura situata in posizione comoda per ogni spostamento a piedi o con mezzi pubblici. Punti di interesse turistico raggiungibili in poco tempo. Siamo stati accolti in modo fantastico dal gestore Ovidio, persona molto simpatica e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione o necessità. Super consigliata.

Alla domenica non c'era la colazione alle 7:30 ma alle 8:00, abbiamo dovuto attendere. Parti di arredi un pochino vecchi e usurati. Stanza comunque silenziosa e di giuste dimensioni per due. La metro Lepanto a circa 15 minuti a piedi o con bus 8 minuti, fermata vicina. Posizione strategica per gran parte delle cose da vedere a piedi di qua e di là del Tevere e Bus comodi. Gestore molto disponibile e cortese. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Soggiornato due notti in questo b&b, in cui abbiamo trovato un gestore veramente disponibile e a modo, ringraziamo Ovidio per la gentilezza e i consigli. Purtroppo però la struttura non è all'altezza di chi la gestisce... avevamo la stanza n. 3, dove alla finestra mancava uno dei due scuri per chiudere... e il bagno era veramente molto vecchio e non tenuto benissimo. La pulizia diciamo ha lasciato un po' a desiderare (abbiamo trovato in bagno solo un rotolo quasi finito di carta igienica). La posizione è buona, in 15 minuti a piedi si arriva su molte zone di interesse, colazione con cappuccino e brioche in un bar adiacente. Non so come siano le altre camere ma la nostra non ci ha molto soddisfatto, mi spiace.

Se si potesse dare più di 10 lo darei. Una struttura al top. Tutto perfetto sia dal punto di vista igienico sanitario che sul piano della bellezza delle stanze ben arredate e pulite. La Sig.ra Marta persona squisita molto disponibile alle nostre esigenze ed il collaboratore Sig. Ovidio pronto ad ogni nostra richiesta. Io e mia moglie ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra coccolati come in famiglia. Altro punto forte non meno importante degli altri la location. A pochi passi da molti punti d’interesse che a Roma non sono pochi. Complimenti per tutto. Ci ritorneremo spero quanto prima con grande gioia. Consigliatissima.

Siamo stati dal 31 luglio al 5 agosto, ci sono trovata benissimo, camera per 3 persone grande abbastanza per permetterci di soggiornare senza tante pretese, pulito con minibar che per noi era comodissimo, la zona ci ha permesso di muoverci benissimo avendo bus in piazza Cavour, di fronte alla struttura un supermercato che per ogni bisogno era di una comodità incredibile visto che serviva cm. pernottamento andava più che bene. L'unico problemino e stata l'aria condizionata che non raffreddava ma può succedere questi inconvenienti, infatti la signora Marta molto gentilmente ha risolto il tutto... quando siamo arrivati ci accolti il signor Ovidio una persona squisita, eravamo molto accaldati e lui senza farci sentire a disagio cii ha accolti invitandoci di riposare in camera con i nostri tempi... Sia Ovidio che la titolare la signora Marta ci anno fatto sentire come a casa nostra, molto gentili davvero! grazie ci rivedremo. sicuramente... lo consiglio a chi vuole avere un contatto famigliare. di. nuovo grazie

La gentilezza del personale, la posizione strategica anche rispetto alla Corte di Cassazione, l'arredamento, i comforts della struttura ed il prezzo competitivo rendono il mio giudizio assolutamente positivo. Ci tornerò di certo.

Posizione molto comoda per visitare il Vaticano e Castel Sant'Angelo ma anche per raggiungere il centro città con una breve passeggiata. Camera pulita ed accogliente, compresa di piccolo frigo. Molto apprezzata la bottiglietta d'acqua fresca offerta all'arrivo. (1 a persona). Gestore molto disponibile per orario check in e richiesta informazioni. Colazione fruibile al bar in piazza adiacente con buono (bevanda calda e brioche). Piccolo supermercato di fronte all'ingresso del B&B.

Ottima struttura in una posizione comodissima al centro. Camere ampie e pulite, colazione con tutto ciò che si può desiderare da una colazione all'italiana. La signora Marta ti accoglie col sorriso, fiore all'occhiello di questo posto è sicuramente la gentilezza del personale che appena arrivi ti dà tutte le indicazioni che ti possono servire durante il soggiorno a Roma, posti da visitare, orari in cui è meglio visitarli e addirittura i mezzi per arrivarci. La struttura ubicata nei pressi di Piazza Cavour proprio di fronte alla Corte di Cassazione, nell'elegante quartiere Prati, ha una posizione "strategica" sia per gli operatori del diritto (magistrati, avvocati ecc.) sia che i turisti che vogliono visitare la città ed i suoi monumenti e, in particolare San Pietro. Le camere sono graziose ed accoglienti e dotate di tutti i confort. Unico neo: il soffione della doccia era pieno di calcare e, dunque, l'acqua non defluiva bene! La colazione, inoltre, non è particolarmente curata. Da riprovare nel mio prossimo soggiorno a Roma!

Tre giornate meravigliose. Vi consiglio questo B&B prima di tutto per la cortesia e la gentilezza dei gestori. In secondo luogo va segnalata l'ottima posizione, ben collegata con l'intera città, e la minuziosa pulizia dei locali. Se vi trovate al centro di Roma fate un salto da Marta Guest House.

Gentilissima Silvia, è stato un vero piacere conoscervi, l'unica cosa mi dispiace che il tempo non è stato molto bello, Roma senza sole non è la stessa cosa. Vi ringrazio nuovamente di aver prenotato con la nostra piccola guest house e vi faccio un grande in bocca al lupo per tutte le vostre attività e, se tra tanti impegni troverete modo di ritornare a Roma, noi saremo molto felici di ospitarvi e offrirvi magari qualche segreto romano.
