Lunaria Suites Rome is located just a few steps away from the Colonnade of St. Peter's, where you can enjoy a unique and majestic view of Michelangelo Buonarroti's Dome and the evocative window of the Sala Nervi, where the Pope holds the Wednesday audience. The location is central and convenient for reaching and visiting the main places of interest, such as the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel, Castel Sant'Angelo and the adjacent bridge, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Altar of the Fatherland in Piazza Venezia.

The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants of all kinds, from genuine and family-run trattorias to Roman bistros with refined dishes, from fish to meat, from sandwich shops to Asian and ethnic restaurants. There are also ice cream parlors and wine bars. In the area, there are fruit and vegetable shops, mini markets, and several supermarkets. Finally, there are pharmacies, post offices, and household goods stores.

The nearest metro station on Line A is called Ottaviano, and it is a 700-meter walk away. The bus stops for lines 916, 46 and the historic 64 are just around the corner and connect to the main places to visit, while the 64 bus goes all the way to Termini Station.

The Roma San Pietro train station is an excellent means of reaching the main stations of Termini, Tiburtina, Trastevere, Ostiense, without crossing the city. This is ideal for reaching the North Lazio coastline, including Ladispoli, Santa Severa, and Santa Marinella.

Fiumicino airport is a 40-minute drive/taxi ride or a 60-minute train ride with a stop at San Pietro Station.

The location of the accommodation is great, right across from the Vatican. We walked through St. Peter's Square every day. During the papal-free time, we could observe how St. Peter's Square was prepared every evening for the new pope. The restaurants in the immediate vicinity always had great food.

Perfect B&B near St. Peter's Square: strategic position, clean and welcoming rooms, friendly staff. Ideal for visiting Rome with comfort. I highly recommend it! The only negative note is that the metro is about 1.3 km away but it is served by buses.

Behind the dome of St. Peter's, a stone's throw from the bus and taxi stop. Also convenient for walking around. Very well-kept room, Giuseppe is very friendly and available for every need. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Lunaria Suites Rome for 5 nights. My stay was very pleasant. I had my own key so I could enter and leave whenever I wanted. The host, Giuseppe, was very kind and helpful. The room, bathroom and bed were all great. Best thing (for me anyway), the B&B was only 2 minutes from St. Peter's Square and the Basilica. A perfect place to stay when visiting Rome!

Giuseppe was an amazing host and I had an excellent stay. I had many problems with my flights but he was very accommodating and allowed me to check in late and store my luggage! It was very clean and quiet in the area and super close by to the Vatican. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Property just steps away from the colonnade of St. Peter's Square. Surrounded by eateries where you can eat choosing how much to spend. Room suitable for two people, functional bathroom. Breakfast not included due to the COVID situation. Why not have an agreement with a bar or local establishment in the area and include a breakfast voucher in the price? It would be advantageous for both and would address the health issue. Wifi works well.
