Description
Here, time slows down. You are surrounded by greenery, peace and open views over the Roman countryside, while still being just a few minutes from the centre of Fiano Romano and the motorway.
We are a family who loves welcoming guests with warmth, simplicity and discretion. Our B&B was born from the desire to share the peaceful atmosphere of our home with those looking for an authentic stay, away from the noise yet conveniently located for reaching Rome and exploring the surrounding area.
Three rooms, each with its own personality, thoughtfully furnished and overlooking the garden, welcome everyone from solo travellers to families and small groups.
Every morning we prepare breakfast with carefully selected products and homemade cakes. During the warmer months, you can relax in the garden among the olive trees, read on the veranda, pick a few aromatic herbs, or simply enjoy the peace and the view.
We also share our home with Neve, our little cat. If the presence of a cat may cause any discomfort or if you have particular sensitivities, just let us know: Neve can stay in her own dedicated room. We take particular care to keep all areas clean and well maintained.
We will be happy to recommend charming villages, itineraries, restaurants and hidden gems to discover nearby.
If you are looking for nature, tranquillity and warm, family-style hospitality within easy reach of Rome, Linda's Retreat is waiting for you.

About Linda, your host
Linda enjoys genuine connections with people, conversations over a cup of coffee, and those little gestures that make guests feel truly welcome.
She lives in close contact with nature, personally tending the garden and vegetable patch, gathering aromatic herbs and enjoying cooking, especially the homemade cakes she prepares for breakfast each morning.
She welcomes her guests warmly but discreetly, respecting the way each person wishes to enjoy their stay: some seek peace and relaxation, while others enjoy a friendly conversation or appreciate suggestions on places to visit and where to eat.
For Linda, hosting means exactly this: opening the doors of her home with simplicity and care, and sharing the pleasure of discovering a little corner of the Roman countryside.

Area hills
Fiano Romano and the surrounding area are a hidden gem of history, nature and traditions, ideal for those who wish to discover an authentic side of Lazio while still being within easy reach of Rome.
In the historic centre of Fiano Romano stands the Orsini Ducal Castle, an impressive Renaissance landmark that today hosts cultural events and exhibitions. Nearby, the Church of Santo Stefano Protomartire houses interesting works of sacred art.
Just a few kilometres from the B&B lies the archaeological site of Lucus Feroniae, an ancient Roman town where visitors can admire the remains of the forum, the temple and the Villa dei Volusii, a Roman residence decorated with beautiful mosaics.
Nature lovers can explore the Nazzano Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve, with its charming riverside landscapes, walking trails and birdwatching opportunities. On the horizon rises Mount Soratte, offering panoramic trails, the Hermitage of San Silvestro and the fascinating bunker dating back to the Second World War.
Nearby, small towns such as Capena, Nazzano and Sant’Oreste are also well worth a visit, each with its own history and distinctive landscape.
The area also has a strong agricultural and culinary tradition, with extra virgin olive oil, local produce, farms, festivals and traditional events offering an authentic taste of the Lazio countryside.
An ideal location for combining a day exploring Rome with a walk in nature, an archaeological visit or a tour of Lazio’s charming villages, before returning in the evening to the peace of the countryside.

A unique experience, a stroke of luck: finding a place to stay on New Year's Eve. Exceptional hospitality and kindness. Wonderful hilly location, surrounded by greenery, with a beautiful view. Excellent breakfast, impeccable cleanliness, spacious room equipped with everything necessary and more. Strategic location, near the entrance to the A1 motorway. Finally, last but not least, truly special hosts: they make you feel like family. A special note about using a smartphone to allow entry to the property and to the rooms, without having to carry keys.
